My home has 5 bedrooms and 2 baths. Upstairs has a balcony with beautiful view.

My wonderful home is located right behind Emeril's Delmonico in the Historic Lower Garden District of New Orleans. It has 5 bedrooms and 2 bath. This house was built in 1907 and is absolutely beautiful. It has a porch downstairs and a balcony upstairs overlooking the Cresent City Connection. Besides the home being in amazing shape, it's in a location that cannot be beat. Only a mile from landmarks like the Superdome and Bourbon street, and just a short walk to some of the best restaurants the city has to offer (Emerils is directly behind me!). The downstairs has a queen bed, sleeper sofa, and 2 couches that comfortably sleeps 1 each. The upstairs has 2 king beds, 1 queen bed and 2 couches that each sleep 1 comfortably. The neighborhood of my home is very safe, you and your family or company will be in a great area.

About Owner / Property Manager

My name is Matt and I was born and raised in the great city of New Orleans. I spent 5 years away for college and was in the Marines for 4 years. I got out of the service in 2010 and now I would not not want to be anywhere else in the world! I work at a local community college teaching Kickboxing and Aerobics and am also a Personal Trainer. Fitness has always been what im most passionate about and im so lucky to have a career that lets me help others in the field. I purchased this amazing house from my family in August 2014. I am very fortunate to have it and love giving visitors the opportunity to experience it.

Why Owner / Property Manager chose Central City/Garden District

My late grandfather purchased this house in 1995 and it has been in the family ever since. The Historic Lower Garden District is the most beautiful part of the city. I love living here because you are less than a mile from the best restaurants, music venues, and sports arenas, with the feel of a quiet, low key neighborood.

What makes this house unique

The location is perfect and there is not a home as spacious and nice anywhere near me. One block from the streetcar on St. Charles Ave and walking distance to the citys best bars and restaurants.

Fabulous stay in NOLA!

We had a wonderful stay in NOLA and a big thanks to Matt for his gracious hospitality. We were greeted at his beautiful home stocked with goodies to kick off the long weekend. He kindly took us to the grocery and gave us some good recos of what to see and where to eat. The house was large, clean, sunny, and the beds are super comfy too! Would highly recommend this home for a large group visit!

Beautiful house in a convinient and central location.

Matt greeted us and had the house which was fully stocked with waters, cokes, beers, snacks, TOOTHPASTE! Etc... Matt even gave us a ride to the store to do some weekend shopping and which was a big help and gave us some great advice on where to go out. The location was a short walk from magazine street, some amazing restaurants, casino, bourbon - perfectly central for any group to have a good time. We were there for a bachelor party and had a blast hanging out at the house and staying out late. Matt was even kind enough to let us stay a little later on Sunday so we could relax before catching an afternoon flight which was a life saver.

I will be a return customer the next time I have a group of friends going to New Orleans!

Just perfect!

I have never had such a great Homeway experience as I have with Matt and his amazing (and uber cute) home!! He was the most gracious and attentive and patient host!

The home is GORGEOUS and so fun - it suited our group perfectly! (Lets just talk about those porches! wow) We had a big group and packed it full and we ALL loved it so much!!

They've all asked to add in a little feedback---

"The house had a great layout to ensure the most privacy while also a lot of people staying. I LOVED the porches. The location was in easy walking distance from the convention center and I enjoyed the shop/restaurants on the corner. Our host was present and available but gave plenty of space while we were there."

"I LOVED the house. I could have danced around the kitchen and our bedroom for the rest of the year. I loved how reasonable and easy we got to our locations with uber and I have nothing but good things to say. It was super clean and I showed up a day after people were already living in it!"

Great property great host

Matt and his property went above and beyond expectations. Matt gave us a tour of the house that was exceptionally clean and well stocked with snacks and drinks. We arrived off the plane with no car and he drove us to the grocery store to grab supplies for the weekend.

Also being a personal trainer, Matt has a private gym in the building behind the house that he allowed to work out in for a few hours. Great host and incredible property. Quick walk to the french quarter and bourbon street. Highly recommend.
