About the property

Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

Anyone who has ever set foot in Naples knows that it is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Many call it paradise and for good reason. Gorgeous weather with warm Gulf breezes keeps the temperatures comfortable year round. Every evening the sunset is a spectacular show in pink, purple and orange hues sometimes stretching completely across the panorama of the horizon.

Naples offers such a wealth of activities that every interest can be satisfied. Golf courses abound for every level of play, tennis is available at nearby Cambier Park (voted best public facility in the U.S.), boats are offered for rent at many marinas within a few blocks, shopping on historic Fifth Avenue is close by and the elegant shops of Third Street are but a few steps from our door! Live music can be found at many local eateries and Thursday nights on Fifth or Third showcase local entertainers.

In season, Cambier Park has free concerts on Sunday afternoons. You can relax in the sun on the gorgeous Gulf beach (recently awarded best all around beaches in the U.S.) just one block’s walk from the condo or soak in the heated pool just outside the door. Enjoy a walk along the historic Naples Pier within a few minutes or jog up the beach (but don’t try to keep up with the dolphins!) Shelling is excellent in the early morning.

Dining in Naples is unmatched. Just a block away are restaurants like well-known Campiello’s (considered Naple’s top restaurant), Tommy Bahama’s Tropical Café, Ridgeway, and Olde Naples Pub. Of course, Fifth Avenue and Crayton Cove offer many more excellent choices like Chops, Yabba Grill, Bleu Provence, The Dock, The Boathouse and Turner’s Lobster House so you will have to agonize over which choice to make. Be sure you stay long enough to enjoy many of them!

Our condo has an updated kitchen including all appliances and granite countertop. The master bedroom features a queen sized bed and the second bedroom has a pair of twins. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The living room has a 42-inch wall-mounted television with cable so relaxing at home will keep you entertained as well. Each bedroom also has cable TV.

Be sure to bring your laptop computer because we also have high-speed cable internet. Beach chairs, a sun umbrella and towels are included for your convenience. There’s even a fishing rod in the closet in case you want to drop a line off the Pier! (no license is required!)

Weekly and monthly rentals are available. Be sure to reserve early as our location and well maintained condo books us well in advance.

Why The Owner chose Old Naples

I live and work in the northeast US and wanted a place in the south for winter thaw outs. My college roommate relocated to Naples and one visit is all it took to begin shopping in the area. I can't be there all the time so provide rentals for most months and weeks all throughout the year.

What makes this condo unique

Everyone raves about the location. The beach is literally across the street, while terrific restaurants are only 1 1/2 blocks away. The Naples pier is a block north. You simply can't find a better location.

Wonderful Diamond in the Rough in Old Naples

  • 5 of 5

We spent a week here in January of this year. My family consists of 2 adults and four children aged 16, 15, 14 and 11.

First let me say - this is not glamorous Ritz-Carlton accommodation. If you want that you will pay about 10 times as much and it is down the road. What it is is a lovingly maintained period condo in a low rise in Old Naples that is about 200 feet from the beach and Naples pier. The house you will walk by is listed for 5.7 million. This location is unbeatable.

The master bedroom has a nicely appointed queen bed. It looks better than the picture. The second bedroom has two twins. My girls loved that room. It has its own little TV that they enjoyed. The family room has a pull out double couch where my teenaged boys slept quite comfortably. It easily folded in and out in the morning and evening. There is a big tv in this area and lots of channels. We were able to watch sports nightly.

The kitchen has a full sized fridge and stove and a dishwasher. There was dishsoap and towels. There are dishes and even cooking and baking dishes. There is a microwave. All of it was clean and neat. Lots of space for our snacks. There was a coffee maker and even some coffee in the cupboard. A kettle as well and a toaster and coffeemaker were on the counter.

There are two bathrooms with showers. Both have lots of towels. There were enough bath towels for us to have two each during our week there. There are lots of beach towels as well as beach chairs in the closet. Shower gel was present when we got there as well.

The washer and dryer situation is a laundry room in the complex. There are 4 washers and some amazing dryers as well. They only take three quarters each.

The pool is heated and very nice. It does close at dusk but the first day we were there the nice gentleman let the kids swim a bit longer which was very nice.

We never heard any noise from the other units and everyone was very friendly. Nearby are lots of restaurants and my husband and I had coffee each morning at Bad A$$ coffee on Third - a three minute walk. Also try the pastry at Tony's Off Third.

Over all a great experience. We are very much hoping that we might be able to go back. Stephen was great to deal with - always replied to our messages and sent us the key in the mail. We will be back!

Relax in Style at Naples...

  • 5 of 5

From the first moment after step the door we fell in love with this apartment.

It was exactly as described.

So clean and and truly livable.

It was stocked with absolutely everything you would require.

The equipment clean and sufficient and the bedding was soft.

If we needed anything we would say - just look in the closet.

The Mariner is quiet and peaceful and the office staff were very informative.

Very close to the beach and pier - where we saw the dolphins most mornings. Loved the condo, the area, perfect location, loved Naples, loved the beach where every morning, after my run, a walk with a fishing rod in hand!

Thank you so much Stephen for a wonderful vacation!!!!

We will definitely return

Wonderful Vacation spot!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I rented Steve's condo last year(sorry so late) during 4th of July week. It was marvelous-we were only one block to the Naples Pier which is an awesome spot for Volleyball, fishing or just laying out and enjoying the sun! The condo was very clean and had all the conveniences of home! My son lives in Naples so it was great just having a place close to him. If you are looking for close to beach close to shopping plus they have a farmers market on the weekends 1 block away too. I can't say enough about Steve too he was very nice and attended to everything we needed. Thanks again Steve and if we come again this year we will be getting ahold of you:)

Golf stay in Naples

  • 5 of 5

Recently stayed here on a golf vacation with my brother. The condo was really comfortable and spotlessly clean with lots of supplies on hand, paper towel, toilet paper, plenty of towels and real soap bars which you do not get in a lot of places plus 3 tvs in the condo. The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of old Naples and steps to the beach. For this location at these prices is certainly great value.

Location, Location, Location

  • 5 of 5

During the enquiry and booking procedure and all the way through, Steve was quick to answer all my emails. I felt and happy to book through him.

The condo is at the Mariner Motel up one set of stairs although we did discover an elevator for luggage on our last day dut it really was easy to get our luggage up. The condo is fitted out with wifi and a great TV with plenty of channels to keep my boys happy. There were also TV's in both bedrooms.

The Mariner has a fabulous, large heated pool and is ideal for swimming laps. There is designated parking for each condo and for this condo it is about a 20 yard walk from the bottom of the stairs.

The pool closes at 8pm and opens at 8am so there can be no early morning swims unless you leap the locked gate!

The Mariner looks like a 60's building to me and is showing its age but the location cant be beaten. You are equidistant between the beach and pier and the 3rd street shops and restaurants. The beach is just over the road as is the pier. In the closet there are beach chairs, beach toys and an umbrella plus a cool box. All came in very handy.

The first bedroom has a double/ queen bed which we did find was rather squeaky when you turn over. The second bedroom has twin beds, the condo is tiled throughout. Steve has made a great job of updating the kitchen and i expect the next thing on his list is to update the bathrooms. Both are fine, clean and tidy but both showing their age.

I would recommend this condo 100 percent, the hibiscus and banyan trees are amazing in Naples as is the shopping and fine dining (although there is reasonably priced dining too). There is also a 7/11 about a 300yard walk away where you can get supplies.

There are plenty of amazing homes in this area of Naples in fact right across the street from the Mariner is a beauty.

We are keen to book this condo again and are just sorting out our dates. We travelled with our 12 year old daughter who loved the free wifi as did the neighbours who liked to share the free connection by sitting on the stairs with their laptops!!

Only thing missing for us was a balcony to sit on but as the pool was so close and not at all crowded we just went downstairs.

I honestly cant rate this place highly enough,
