Los Cabos Oceanside Villa - Calendar Year 2027

Monticristo Estates: Located on the west side of Cabo San Lucas, on the mountainside above the beautiful Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort. This 2000 acre development features stunning unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean, the setting sun and migrating whales. There are breath-taking vistas overlooking the recently completed championship 18-hole golf course. This is the only luxurious fractional ownership gated community on the Pacific Ocean.

The Villa: Is situated on a bottom row offering encumbered ocean views and more convenient access than those higher up the mountain. This is a very well appointed 4,500 square foot (2,800 under roof and 1,700 on decks) split-level villa with 3-bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. It is built on the highest peak on the Southern-Baja, 800 feet above sea level and 200 feet above the highest villas in neighboring Pedregal. The villa has it's own private infinity swimming pool, outdoor Hot Tub , carport, gas grill BBQ, indoor Jacuzzi and much more.

The entrance foyer has a beautiful water fountain and opens into a living room with fireplace and an entertainment center with TV, DVD and stereo. The Villa is finished in marble, granite and solid mahogany woodwork. A well equipped kitchen has a refrigerator with ice-maker, dishwasher, microwave and stove with oven, (all cooking accessories and utensils are supplied). The dining room is adjacent to the kitchen and beautifully appointed with magnificent views of Sunset Beach and the Pacific Ocean.
Sleeping arrangements include two master bedroom suites with king size beds, luxurious bathrooms and dressing areas, one master bedroom suite with two queen size beds, private bath and dressing area, a sofa-bed for two in the downstairs lounge, (and roll-a-way beds upon request if necessary). All linens are provided with daily maid service.

Additional Amenities: Guests staying at Montecristo are allowed 'full-access' to all the amenities at the neighboring Sunset Beach and Pacifica Resorts- see the web site links below for each property (and look at the photo galleries). There are several fine-dining restaurants, European Health Spa and Fitness Center, flood-lit tennis courts, boutiques, bars (three), delis (two), Coffee Shoppe, convenience store and market, 16th century Chapel, medical center, five pools (all with swim-up bars) and kids activities, Car Rental, and Concierge service.
If you do not have your own car, you will also be provided with a free shuttle service (on the hour) to and from Medano Beach, and have full access to the Pueblo Bonito Blanco and Pueblo Bonito Rose resorts. You have the ability to charge expenses from all Pueblo Bonito resorts to your villa at Montecristo.

We throughly enjoyed our week at the Montecristo Estates! The morning view and sunrise were spectacular! We saw whales everyday. We enjoyed the many options for sitting around as a group; 2 patios, a large dining room table and upstairs and downstairs living-rooms with comfortable seating. The hot tub and the pool were also very welcome additions for our stay. The staff at Montecristo was attentive to all details as well. They were the icing on the cake of a fabulous vacation. The home was beautifully appointed and all in all we felt like we were living in the lap of luxury! We hope to do it again!

Paradise in the heavens

We were given a villa on a hilltop with a view of the entire property and the beautiful Pacific Ocean. It was like heaven on earth! Stunningly beautiful sunset every evening from our private infinity pool.

Great property for spending a week in Cabo.

The property was spacious, clean, furnished nicely, and the kitchen had all the essentials. Housekeeping did a good job. Great having our own private pool. Covid testing was very professional and quick. Shuttle service around the property was excellent. Would definitely return to this property!

Going Back!!!!

This place just ruined all other vacations for my family, no way anyplace else will live up to this villa. We have a family of 5 with kids ages of 16,14,6, they all loved it. The villa is amazing and we chose NOT to do the all inclusive. We went downtown Cabo every night for dinner, completely safe, and amazing restaurants. On the way to the villa is Costco, Walmart, and grocery store. We stocked up for the week and enjoyed meals in villla as well. Staying at the Montecristo allows access to 3 other Pueblo Bonito resorts and we hit them all. Highly recommend this place. Tim is excellent and easy to work with answered any questions we had. I highly recommend renting a car and all the driving is easy.

Excellent holiday!!

Booked this place for two weeks over spring break. It was the perfect size for our family of four ( mom, dad and two tweens) Beds were all super comfy. We really just wanted to relax and unwind and we found this was the absolute ideal place to do so. We rented a car and filled up on groceries at Costco and Walmart ... didn't feel like cooking, we ordered room service to the villa or went to the lovely "market" at Pueblo which had hot, fresh food at the ready. We enjoyed amazing meals at The Thompson Hotel, Bar Esquila and Las Ventanas as well. We felt very safe in this double gated slice of heaven and the views from the heated pool are to die for ! A million thank you's!

Beautiful property

We had a wonderful time at Sunset Beach. The pool off the lower deck area was a great place to hang out and watch whales everyday. Sunsets were spectacular lighting up the clouds in orange and red Hughes. We only ate breakfast in the villa and usually went into town for dinner. We loved Edith's restaurant. Great steaks and they made the Cesar salad right at the table. The ambiance and the engaging waiters made the evening! The only issue we had at Sunset Beach is that every time we wanted to go somewhere on the property we had to call for a van to take us to the Montecristo part of the property or to the Market which is in the middle of the property. Vans do not go to the lower part of the property so if we wanted to go to the main pool area or restaurant we would have to take the van to the Market and we then had to wait for a golf cart to take us there. This sometimes took 45 minutes to an hour to get to where we wanted to go. The other negative is the pillows are hard and the mattresses are lumpy and really need replacement. All in all our family had a wonderful time at this property and the owner was very helpful.

Beautiful view, spacious house, helpful owner

Our first visit to Cabo - love the location. Broad property was good - big enough to offer plenty of things to do, close enough to the town to get there easily but far enough away to be quieter, nice work out facilities, plenty of pools, etc. Specific house was great was great - fantastic view, bedrooms all big with private very nice baths, great daily service, loved the infinity pool, etc. The owner was happy to provide whatever info we wanted prior to committing and post acceptance. We would rent there again without hesitation. Only suggestion would be upgrading the kitchen items- knives, wine glasses, some basics like olive oil, a few spices, etc.

Great Owner, Great Property, Great Vacation

I had a great experience renting this villa for 7 occupants! The owner was very responsive (via e-mail, text and phone) and professional which gave me great confidence. The property itself was great and met or exceeded my expectations based on the description (except, however, this particular villa didn't have a grill and the entrance fountain wasn't functional - both minor). Renting this villa was the cornerstone to a great vacation which was enhanced by the friendly/helpful staff of the Pueblo Bonito Montecristo, and the beauty of Cabo San Lucas. Highlights: infinity pool was heated; daily housekeeping; concierge successfully retrieving an iPhone left in a taxi; very prompt shuttle service; the views! Low lights: cost of room service (10 bottles of water cost over 900 pesos); weak/no wireless internet on the second floor.
