The apartment was once a hayloft of a seventeen century villa. It has been elegantly restored and faces a silver coloured olive tree field.
It is a very comfortable holiday-home immersed in nature, surrounded by the many beauties of the Chianti region. It is close to Florence and Siena (approx. half an hour drive).
The ground floor consists of a sunny sitting and dining room next to the kitchen, overlooking the backyard. The entrance is thruogh a small garden.
The main bedroom with a small study, is located in the first floor, next to the bathroom with shower; the wooden stairs lead to the 'mansarda' that has a small and cosy bedroom.

Great place to get away and recharge

Had a lovely stay at Poggio Borgoni - the setting is stunning and is very quiet. A great place to get away from the busy towns and cities to recharge and relax. The main room is good for two people to read, relax, write etc and there is enough of a kitchen to cook some simple dishes to avoid going out all the time. The ability do go for a walk amongst the vines and olive tree's each day was also lovely. The owners are lovely and welcoming people too - we didn't have a lot of interaction with them as we were doing our own things but they were very helpful when we needed something or advice. Would come again for sure.

Klasse Lage mit Blick auf Olivenhain

Wir fanden den Ort problemlos ohne Routenplaner. Hof und Ferienwohnung außerhalb des Ortes in ruhiger Lage. Wohnung sauber und gut ausgestattet. Herrlich die Terasse. Interessante Ausflugsziele in der Toskana ließen sich von der Wohnung aus gut erreichen.

Traumhaft schöne Lage

Eine wirkliche Idylle mitten im Chianti in traumhaft schöner Lage mitten in der Natur . Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und kümmert sich um alles Notwendige. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist für alle Bedürfnisse ausreichend und entspricht der Beschreibung. Für 4 Personen ist die Wohnung m. E. allerdings etwas zu klein. Der Treppenaufstieg in die 2. Etage ist für Kleinkinder oder alte Leute nicht gut geeignet. Ansonsten ist die Wohnung aber bei gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut empfehlenswert.

lieux très agréable et très bien situé

La description correspondait bien à la réalité : une petite maison/appartement très propre dans une belle bâtisse retapée, avec une très belle vue sur les collines, oliviers et vigne. Très tranquille. Sut trois niveau : entrée cuisine salle à manger, à l'étage grande chambre et salle de bain, sous les toits grande chambre avec trois lits. Propriétaire très sympathique et parlant très bien français. Conseils fournis avec le sourire et toujours très discret. Très bon vin "riserva" du chianti classico (deux fois plus cher au duty free ..). Je n'ai pas encore ouvert la bouteille d'huile d'olive qui nous a été offerte. Endroit parfait pour rayonner en Toscane : Florence à 30 minutes, Sienne au sud à moins d'une heure ..1h05 par l'autoroute pour aller à Lucca (que je recommande) ainsi que San Gimmignano ..et Volterra. Merci à la famille Rovida pour leur accueil. Grazie mille. Sylvie de Toulouse (couple + enfant et 2 grand mères : )

Très joli domaine

Au milieu des oliviers et des vignes, cette location est très bien placée. Proche de Florence, 45mn et de Sienne, 1 heure, idéale pour sillonner dans le Chianti. Le gîte était conforme à nos attentes, et le propriétaire très sympathique. Bon accueil. Nous le recommandons.

Idylle pur mitten im Chianti-Gebiet - traumhaft!

Von den Fotos her hatten wir eine schöne Umgebung erwartet, aber dass die Wahrheit noch besser ist, hätte ich wirklich nicht gedacht! Und doch: kein Auto und keine Straße zu sehen, nur Bilderbuch-Landschaft auf 360°! Ruhe pur mitten in Weinbergen und Olivenhainen, dazu noch extrem freundliche und nette Gastgeber! Schon der Willkommengruß, eine Flasche eigener Wein mit berühmter Etikette und ein Fläschchen eignes Olivenöl haben uns sofort wohl fühlen lassen. Als dann ein paar Tage später ein weiterer Teil der Gastgeberfamilie mit Kindern kam, war es noch mehr als perfekt: die Kinder haben zusammen gespielt und sich super verstanden! Die Lage ist perfekt, um sowohl Florenz als auch alle bekannte Ziele im Chianti-Gebiet sehr schnell zu erreichen. Selbstverständlich auch für weitere Ziele in der Toskana. Durch die Ruhe vor Ort aber waren wir weniger getrieben als sonst und haben eher kürzere Ausflüge gemacht, damit wir immer wieder den Garten und den einmaligen Blick genießen können. Auch zu Fuß kann man direkt mehrere Ziele in der Nähe ansteuern. Das Ortszentrum mit Bäckerei, Bar, Restaurant, Supermarkt und alles Nötige ist nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Mit dem Bus kann man auch bequem Florenz erreichen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, dieses Stück Idylle wollen wir wieder erleben!

"Logement en tous points conforme à la description au calme avec les oliviers et les vignes à perte de vue, propriétaires extrêmement gentils et serviables. Séjour très agréable et reposant après les nombreuses visites. La Toscane est sublime et ses habitants très charmants ! Mais pensez aux produits anti moustiques car ils étaient terribles cette année malgré toute la bonne volonté des propriétaires. Location à recommander absoluement"
