We had an absolutely wonderful stay and enjoyed every moment of our holiday.Upon arrival, we received a very warm welcome from Eduardo, who took the time to explain everything we needed to know about the house, the surroundings, and all the facilities. His hospitality immediately made us feel at home.The house itself is amazing, and the location is simply breathtaking. The views, the peaceful atmosphere, and the beautiful Chianti landscape exceeded all our expectations. It is also perfectly situated for visiting nearby gems such as Florence, Siena, and many other charming Tuscan towns.Greve in Chianti is a cosy and authentic village with incredibly friendly people, great restaurants, and a wonderful atmosphere. We truly enjoyed spending time in the historic centre.We enjoyed our stay to the fullest and can only confirm all the positive reviews we had read beforehand.

We were warmly welcomed by Jamilah, she showed us around the property and make sure we are comfortably settled in. The bedroom comes with its ensuite, they are clean with essentials. The kitchen is well equipped. The view is amazing and we enjoyed sitting outside enjoy our meals. The pool is clean. There is a dishwasher and laundry. It js perfectly located near restaurants within a 10 mins drive. You can take a commuter bus to Florence. Danielle was very helful and quick in response just from the moment we booked it as we gave never been to Greve in Chianti and she was provided us all the questions we had. She is great host. Thank you! Highly recommended.

The property was beautiful and the view was breath-taking. The road to the property was not paved which was not listed, luckily we had a car suited for that. All of the appliances worked well and the rooms were very spacious and well maintained. We had a great stay!

Our romantic house in Tuscany was everything we hoped for, and more. What a setting! The atmosphere inside and out was awesome. Our host Daniela was attentive and gracious. We could not have picked a better place for our tour of Tuscany! Thank you!

Wonderful house with all the facilities you need for self-catering. Although we used it as a base to visit all around the area, we also spent a few days just relaxing in the garden and going to the pool.Well equipped kitchen including a dishwasher and washing machine.Very peacefu, would love to come back one day.

Beautiful property with stupendous views of Tuscan hills. Close to town with all amenities. Rustic road to property not a problem. Beautiful furnishings, with a small kitchen.

A bigger package

The photos and description give you a good idea of the house. What made it the perfect place for us to stay was the fact that it is located on top of a small hill, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. It has a breathtaking view from its terrace, where you can enjoy a glass of Chianti and enjoy the sunset over the Tuscan landscape. What a great place to stay!

Beautiful location, but you absolutely need a car as it is remote, high in the Tuscan hills and involves a long drive on a narrow, dusty road.Follow signs for La Veronica Resort (can put resort name into sat nav on leaving airport). The property is behind the resort (large farmhouse), past the signs saying La Veronica car park and over a small incline. Parking available right outside the front door.It was perfect for our needs. We used it as our base while we drove around the wider area. Kitchen is narrow but well equipped. Only thing missing was a toaster! Living room stays cool due to brick ceiling, which was fantastic when the temperatures were in the high 30s (Celsius).Air con in first bedroom was fantastic. Second bedroom did have air con but wasn’t quite as effective. However there were a few fans in the house, which did enough to keep the room cool.Very private, with a small patio area and garden. The view from the patio was stunning. Short walk to the swimming pool which was clean and had plenty of sun beds with a couple of umbrellas and an area that is in the shade all day.We had a great time visiting Tuscany and the house was perfect for our requirements.Good communication with the host

Away from it all In beautiful Toscana (Greve in Chianti)

Daniela was very responsive with our questions and requests - as was Eduardo. I really enjoyed the rustic villa and the solitude. The location was only about an hour away from Firenze (Santa Maria Novella train station). We rented a car at the nearby Hertz, and took a few excursions: San Gimignano‎ - about an hour away, and Dario Cecchini’s restaurant in Panzano (about 30 minutes away). I would recommend this place - it was well worth the cost.

Spectacular setting

The legendary beauty of Tuscany is on full display. Rolling hills full of grapevines and olive trees as far as the eye can see. Very remote but also very beautiful. The villa has plenty of charm and space. Small issues due to the age of the place: unstable hot water and heating, awkward kitchen. But these are minor. We were lucky to be there at harvest time and local wineries were a real treat.

Amazing property and location. Much further out than we had anticipated, but truly beautiful. If you don't have a car, be prepared. The taxi to and from Florence was $90 each way. LOCK THE DOORS & take food to snack on or cook. We were able to attain Breakfast from the adjoining Inn for a small cost, but I don't think that is always offered and certainly not included. We had planned on using the pool, it was not open yet for the season.

Good morning I’m sorry that you had this inconvenient but II wanted to make some clarifications with respect to your comment for the stay First of all to say that it had never happened to me that someone arrived without a car because is a place in the countryside 3 km from the closest town, greve. As for the pool, it has always been open on June 1st and finally for breakfast breakfast We have the house with everything you need to sleep to wash and to cook . but we never talked about breakfast included because it is not a service. that we offerI. I'm sorry that you had these inconvenient but if you had asked us or if you had read carefully the information on the site you could have realized that this was the situation. Magnificent

This was my second stay at La Veronica Resort and the first at the cottage. If you are in Tuscany this is the place to be. Close enough to Florence but far enough away to be in the countryside and truly experience Italy and Tuscany. The staff could not be more kind and helpful. This cottage is rustic Italian. If you want all the bells and whistles and no charm stay somewhere else. This made us feel like we were in heaven every day and we loved every minute of our stay. The bedrooms are spacious .. on suites for each are nice… the kitchen is tiny but who cooks in Tuscany? There are hundreds of restaurants in the small towns nearby! The views … they don’t get any better. We will be back ! Feels like home away from home in Tuscany! I just can’t say enough nice things about this place!!

Breathtaking but remote

Waking up in the morning to the Tuscan sun rising above the surrounding hills was a magical moment I will never forget. The view from the front yard of the property was panoramic and picturesque. It almost made me forget how hard it was to find the place in the dark, with inadequate directions. Almost. If I had to do it over again, I’d arrive late afternoon in the daylight. The property is only accessible through a rugged dirt road. Also the address given didn’t work in my Maps app. Only when I put in “La Veronica resort” did I get accurate info. But once there, my wife and I adored the cottage, and wished we could stay longer. No suggestions of local attractions (we found some amazing activities) no connection to the nearby St. Stefanos winery, no welcome and explanation of the property by someone who spoke English. But a gem nonetheless. Thank you.

Superficial Beauty in the Heart of Tuscany

We were told this was an offsite villa via VRBO but it was not the case as this is part of the La Veronica Resort in Greve. The rooms were directly visible from the morning eating sites. If you require privacy, this isn’t the place for you. The beds feel like sleeping on a steel slab and the furniture hasn’t been updated in 30+ years. The basement being a cellar had a great appeal originally, however, the cloth furniture doesn’t stand a chance against how damp the area gets. The kitchen was nice to work in and well equipped, however, I found it weird there was no oil to cook with but 3 different types of pepper. Also, upon check out we found mold everywhere while trying to clean up the dishes (this is what dropped it to a two star rating as we were so grossed out after prepping/cooking in there every day). The pool was also promised to be private, however, you share it with the resort (though not a big deal as not many where using the amenity and it was quite well maintained). We also were told not to park in our private lot as “that’s where the tour busses turn around”, which they did every morning at 7am unloading hordes of noise and people. Service through the VRBO was practically non-existent. No welcome except for the handyman asking for a picture of our passport and city tax collection to validate our stay. The views from this place are magnificent which was its redeeming quality. For the price, we will next time be staying within the city or a nicer r

Good morning I am very surprised by the negative review and by the completely inaccurate information about our house that we do not know from whom you received. I confirm that the house is a private house and has nothing to do with the Veronica resort absolutely no contact if not a closeness and good neighborly relations. Also the swimming pool it was built by both the Resort and me and we share its use. Therefore this information also does not correspond to reality, we have absolutely the right to use the swimming pool and it is for the exclusive use of both the small Resort and ours guest. I also add that no one has ever complained about the hardness of the bed and above all the kindness of the person who checks in who has always been considered a very kind person and available for any eventuality.. do have not been given the answer or the service you requested? Otherwise it is obvious that it is difficult to judge He did what he has to, the request for documents and the tourist tax are obligations that we must do to respect the rules of our country. And showing you the apartment As for the end, the mold problem has normally never happened and nobody has complained. But given that we had a month of very intense rain ( the worst month in Italy in the last 100 year!!!) it could also be that we did not realize that there was a deterioration in this respect. Wir waren Anfang Mai für 10 Tage dort.Eigentlich ist es ein sehr schönes gemütliches Haus.Aber es wird im Inserat falsch dargestellt. Das,Haus grenzt direkt an ein resort mit Ferienwohnungen. Eine abenteuerliche Schotterpiste ist der einzige Weg dort hin. Mit Kindern ist dieses Haus nicht empfehlenswert da 2 steile Treppen ohne Geländer.Die Einrichtung selbst ist in die Jahre gekommen und gehört an einigen Stellen ausgetauscht und renoviert. Dafür war die Aussicht im Weinberg grandios.Leider war die Liege komplett verdreckt und 2 Sonnenstühle kaputt. Eine kleine Einweisung in die Geräte und Heizanlage wäre schön gewesen. Aber dank KI und Google war das alles rauszubekommen.

Urlaub und Seele baumeln lassen

Wir haben das Haus und dessen Umgebung als gemütlich und ruhig empfunden, zusätzlich gut ausgestattet Bäder waren modern und gut ausgestattet. Das Haus war eine richtige Wohlfühloase. Ein kleines Manko war einzig die nur über Schotterpiste zu erreichende Location. Ich hoffe, mein Auto hat diese Strapaze gut überstanden. Wir würden den Aufenthalt inklusive Ansprechpartner gerne weiterempfehlen. Ach ja, zur besseren Nutzung der Küchengeräte (Geschirrspüler) wäre eine Gebrauchsanweisung vielleicht ganz hilfreich.

Vacances d'été en Toscane

Pendant que la météo s'affolait au sud et au nord de l'Europe nous avons bénéficié du climat très agréable de la Toscane et ainsi nous avons profité de notre location : Une vue à couper le souffle, une maison confortable, la piscine partagée avec le Veronica Resort mais calme et superbe, avec aussi une vue extraordinaire. Tout cela se mérite et vous en profiterez qu'après avoir passé le chemin chaotique de 2 kilomètres dans la campagne Toscane. Merci en particulier à Edouardo toujours souriant et disponible si vous avez besoin de quoique ce soit.

Unser erster Toskana Trip

Leider wich die Realität vor Ort von den Fotos im Inserat teilweise stark ab. Lage und Aussicht sind toll . Das Haus selber wirkt innen etwas renovierungsbedürftig aus. Schlecht war auch der Check in . Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist katastrophal . Würden hier nicht wieder buchen.

Le rispondo perché non comprendo le sue lamentele e devo dirle che non le condivido Il check in è’ andato benissimo, Edoardo era davanti a casa che vi aspettava per mostrarvi la casa. Cosa non le è’ piaciuto? La strada per arrivare era in condizioni non buone perché il giorno prima c’è’ stata una terribile e violenta perturbazione che ha colpito gran parte dell’Italia con una pioggia che trattandosi di strade di campagna ha creato problemi significativi. Nei giorni immediatamente successivi abbiamo provveduto a riportarla in condizioni molto migliori. La casa come ogni anno al termine della stagione estiva dove viene abitata con continuità ha bisogno come da lei segnalato di piccole manutenzioni che verranno effettuate appena terminato l’afflusso di ospiti. Si tratta comunque di piccole cose che non credo le abbiano impedito di godere di un posto così bello e ben posizionato come da lei segnalato. Mi spiace che non tornerà nella nostra casa ma siamo sereni perché tutti gli clienti che abbiamo ospitato sono stati contenti e hanno apprezzato la casa, la posizione e i nostri servizi Cordiali saluti Daniela

Traumhaftes Häuschen in den Weinbergen

Dieses kleine romantische Haus liegt neben einem kleinen Resort, mit dem es sich den großzügigen Pool teilt. Ansonsten ist man quasi alleine, mit eigenem Garten und Terrasse, die direkt auf die berühmten Weingüter von Verrazzano und Vicchiomaggio blickt. Rundum liegen die Weinberge von Santo Stefano, und die Hügel rund um Greve. Einfach toll! Und wenn man dann genug vom Weintrinken hat :-), ist Florenz in 30 Minuteb um die Ecke. Sehr empfehlenswert!!!

circondati dalla natura e dalla pace

immersa nella bellissima natura, con splendida vista, silenziosa, camere comode e pulite, giardino attrezzato, massima disponibilità della proprietaria e del collaboratore.

Petit coin de paradis

Lieu idéal pour un séjour au calme, très bien situé pour visiter le Chianti Petit bémol..la route d’accès très impraticable pendant 2 kms, qui met à mal les voitures !
