We have had the most perfect holiday! We feel honoured to have had the opportunity to meet Massimiliano and his family. The property pictures on the VRBO site don't do it justice.The property is spacious and very well equipped.The family live next door and we're always happy to help though we only ever saw them in passing on the drive.The pool had a great mix of furniture for the sun lovers and plenty comfortable seating areas for those that prefer the shade.Todi was a short drive away with some fabulous restaurants and cafes. We had hoped to be able to walk into town but found that it wasn't suitable after dark. But it was actually perfect coming back and sitting around the pool in the evening with the local wines.We would highly recommend a visit

unforgettable vacation days

The holiday home's location is incredible. A perfect holiday for everyone, whether with a dog or children. From the pool, the facilities to the great town of Todi. We were able to enjoy our privacy even though Massimiliano and Cristina lived in the adjacent house. Thanks to both of you Hummel family

Wunderschöne Unterkunft

Wir haben in Todi wunderschöne Ferien verbracht. Das Haus sowie die Umgebung mit dem grossen Pool ist sehr schön, sauber und gepflegt. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft. Das Vermieterehepaar ist sehr herzlich, hilfsbereit und diskret. Todi ist ein reizendes Städtchen.

excellent host, wonderful outdoor space

Clarification for future guests: this is essentially an in-laws' apartment attached to the owner's main house. You share gated entry to property, grill in driveway, and pool area with owners, who by and large keep to themselves (we rarely saw them). As of this writing there is one air conditioning unit, upstairs in the living/kitchen area. The two bedrooms downstairs were stuffy in the extreme heat, so the four of us purchased fans to up the comfort factor. Again, as of this writing, WiFi connection is actually in main house and as such is unreliable. Do not plan to use in entire apartment or stream/download. Kitchen is adequate, but small--really only room for one person to cook. We had trouble with the oven temperature. The host was extremely communicative, friendly and kind. They have two cats and a dog whom you may occasionally encounter outside. The outdoor space here ultimately wins the day; the pool is just lovely, perfectly maintained with minimal chemicals, and boasts a view of the Todi countryside. The patio attached to the apartment has a large table that allows for outdoor dining in full shade overlooking a yard filled with flowers, plants and olive trees, and there's a patio on the pool deck as well equipped with power and a bluetooth speaker plus chairs, table, hammock. We even watched the annual hot air balloon festival launch from a field nearby. Washing machine and dishwasher worked well, and the apartment was spotlessly clean. Overall I do recommend, especially for two people who will make liberal use of the outdoors when it's not oppressively hot.

Wunderschöne Woche

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche. Pool und Garten sind perfekt, die Ausstattung des Hauses ebenfalls. Die Gastgeber sind sehr, sehr aufmerksam, sehr auf die Privatspähre ihrer Gäste bedacht und ausgesprochen hilfsbereit. Wir haben die Woche genossen und werden wiederkommen.

Merveilleux Séjour/Great Location

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans un lieu exceptionnel. La maison est aménagée avec gout, les équipements sont de très bonne qualité. Il ne manque rien! Les vues de la piscine et de la terrasse sont magnifiques. La piscine est grande et bien entretenue. Massimiliano et Christina sont sympathiques, accueillants et disponibles.

Ein sehr schöner Urlaub in ruhiger Umgebung. Es ist alles Nötige vorhanden und auch um Details wurde sich gekümmert (Badehandtücher für den Pool, Seifen in den Bädern...). Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nicht weit entfernt. Top! Die Gastgeber sind super! Freundliche und liebe Menschen.

Ein kleines Paradies mit traumhafter Aussicht, himmlischer Ruhe und toller Lage...

Tolles kleines Ferienhaus, komplett und funktional ausgestattet und absolut sauber. Es ist wirklich alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Sehr angenehm sind die Schlafräume im Souterrain, die auch bei heißen Außentemperaturen angenehm kühl bleiben. Toller Pool mit traumhafter Aussicht und vielen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten. Da wir vorrangig relaxen wollten und uns das "kleine" Kulturprogramm von Todi und der näheren Umgebung ausgereicht hat, war die Lage für uns optimal. Obwohl das Haus des Eigentümers an die Terrasse des Hauses grenzt hat man absolut seine Privatsphäre, aber das gute Gefühl, dass bei Bedarf ein Ansprechpartner vor Ort ist. Insgesamt waren wir sehr begeistert und würden das Haus jederzeit wieder mieten. Nochmals vielen Dank an Massimiliano für den tollen Aufenthalt! Imke & Dirk aus Lüneburg

Traumhaft!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in Todi. Die äußerst nette Gastgeberfamilie hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Bei kleinen Fragen waren Sie immer sofort für uns da. Ihr Haus liegt zwar unmittelbar neben dem Ferienhaus, ist aber alles total diskret und man hat absolut seine Ruhe. Das eigene Auto steht sicher vor dem Haus und man bekommt vom Vermieter ein Sender für das elektr. Grundstückstor. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, alles da was man so braucht. Wenn es überhaupt ein Manko gibt dann das ich im Flat-TV leider keine deutschen Sender gefunden habe. Würden aber manche vielleicht auch als Pluspunkt sehen. ;-) Und man fährt ja auch nicht in Urlaub um in die Glotze zu schauen. Schlafräume im Keller sind grade im Sommer nachts angenehm kühl. Der Ausblick vom Haus und der Terrasse aus sind total genial. Absoluter Oberhammer ist aber natürlich der Pool mit angrenzender überdachter Sitzmöglichkeit(inkl. Kühlschrank). Die Stadt Todi hat sehr viel Charme und ist architektonisch sehr interessant. Außerdem fehlts aber auch nicht an Bankomat, Tankstelle, Supermarkt, Restaurants u.s.w.. Also viel Spass! LG

Perfect! A gorgeous villa with a peaceful pool and garden, and fantastic views

We moved to this house after 2 days in really dreadful accommodation, and the owner was really quick and helpful is sorting out our stay. The house is lovely - the photos don't fully do it justice. It's modern, clean and had every-thing we needed, with lots of small but carefully thought out touches such as candles for outside, beer in the fridge, soap and plenty of towels. Although it's adjacent to the owners house it still felt very private and we didn't notice the owners were there, although it was really helpful when we had questions. The covered outside terrace with countryside views was a real bonus; we ate most of our meals there or just enjoyed the quiet. And the pool is fantastic, with a large shaded seating area and a fridge for cold drinks. Todi is a beautiful town with lots of character, lovely to just walk round and great restaurants, and a good location for trips to Rome and Florence. We would definitely go back to this house, and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Exceptionnel

Un séjour parfait, au delà de nos attentes. La maison est ravissante et très bien entretenue et équipée, les chambres sont fraîches, la terrasse couverte offre une vue somptueuse, nos hôtes ont été charmants tout en restant discrets. Nous avons passés 15 jours fabuleux et sommes repartis avec de beaux souvenirs...

Une adresse exceptionnell...

Une adresse exceptionnelle, qui incarne le charme de l'Italie. La maison est très bien équipée et décorée avec beaucoup de goût par Cristina. La terrasse offre une vue superbe sur Todi et les collines environnantes. La piscine est très belle et le jardin est entretenu avec soin. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants, très sympathiques, à la fois discrets et disponibles. La location est très bien située. Todi se révèle une ville authentique et les principales curiosités de l'Ombrie sont tout proches. Mais il souvent difficile de quitter une maison si agréable.

"Nous avons passé d'excel...

"Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances à Todi chez Massimiliano (famille avec deux adolescents). La région est magnifique (nature et patrimoine bien préservé du tourisme; Perouse et Asssise à 50 km; Rome/Sienne/Florence à moins de 150 km). La maison est agréable, intelligemment et joliment agencée avec les chambres en 1/2 sous-sol ce qui garanti leur fraicheur en été. La piscine est idéale pour vraiment nager et est très bien entretenue. Massimiliano et sa famille habitent dans la maison contigüe et ceci nous a posé aucun problème de cohabitation vu leur extrême discrétion. Le logement est situé dans la campagne en dehors de Todi, pas loin d'une route qui s'est parfois avérée bruyante; c'est finalement le seul défaut de cette location."
