Ideally located in the heart of Paris (rue Chapon, 3rd district), this studio is at a walking distance to many places of interest (Centre Pompidou : 5 minutes, Hotel de Ville : 10 minutes, Notre Dame : 15 minutes). The area is in the same time quiet and close to many attractions (restaurants, bars, design stores, department store, etc...).
Many public transportation nearby : Metro Rambuteau (line 11), Metro Arts et Métiers (lines 3 and 11), Metro Réaumur Sébastopol (lines 3 and 4), RER Chatelet les Halles (lines A, B, D and E), buses (lines 20, 29, 38 and 47). Easy access from Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports through RER and metro/bus.
In the close neighborhood : 5 supermarkets, 2 bakeries, coin-op laundry and a few cafés.
Studio is on 1st floor (2nd floor US), very quiet (remote from the street noise) but not very bright, 11 sqm (120 sqft) + 3 sqm (30 sqft) on the mezzanine. No elevator.
Wooden floor, visible beams, visible stones on one wall. Double bed on the mezzanine. Separate bathroom with toilet + open kitchen under the mezzanine. Please note that shower does not fit people taller than 6 ft (1.8 m).
Kitchen is fully equipped and furnished with electric stove, coffee maker and a small electric grill.
Towels, bed linens and hairdryer are provided. You will also find an iron and ironing board. Closet with sliding mirror doors.
Extra bedding possible for a small person or a child (convertible sofa, max. 5.5 ft - 1.6 m).
Free Wi-Fi access (optical fiber).
TV with international channels.

Great location only one flight of stairs!

Frank was a great host, informative and responsive. This worked great for us as we are active and the loft style bed was comfortable. If ladders are not your thing and only one person the fold out bed on main floor will work. Location is great in a quiet side alle with many restaurants and sites walkable. Would stay again.

Beaubourg apartment

Good location. Bathroom is pretty tight, and climbing to the bed isn't for the mobility impaired. Overall, it was alright.

Tiny Space in a Great Area, Wonderful Host

We loved our little hide-away in a wonderful part of Paris. Michele welcomed us and was kind and helpful. I would stay here again. There were a few reasons I did not give an overall rating of five: the refrigerator froze all our fruits and vegetables; the sheets and towels felt a little worn; the futon was extremely uncomfortable. We would have welcomed a list of recommendations for restaurants, bistros and boulangeries in the area. None of those were enough to take anything away from our stay. I was with my ten-year-old granddaughter and she thought the loft bed was magical.

Great Place to Stay in Paris on a Budget

Upon arrival Frank greeted us even though we ended up being late because the metro was delayed. We had some trouble getting there because I didn't have the directions on my phone downloaded, but Frank did leave clear instructions. He was very welcoming and answered all of our questions. The place is small but it's really all you need. The location is unbeatable for this price. You are literally in the heart of Paris. All you have to do is walk out the door and everything you need is within a 10 minute walk. We used the metro to get to most of the sites we wanted to see. The public transportation is great in Paris. It may just but the pillows weren't great. Also we thought there should be another trash can in the kitchen. Other than those small things everything was great. Would highly recommend it.

Great, cozy place

Frank was amazing. He responded to my queries faster than I could have hoped, even when he was traveling. He met me early in the morning when I arrived to let me in, show me around and to offer a few neighborhood recommendations. The photos and description are very accurate. In fact, I think Frank has gone above and beyond in being transparent about the size of the apartment, and thus it’s potential limitations for some people. So, my advice is to look at the photos and read his description closely to make sure it’s an appropriate place for you. I’m petite, so it was a perfect size for me. While the photos are accurate they cannot capture the feel of the place, and, for me, it was very homey. I have never felt so immediately at ease in one of these types of places before. Needless to say, I liked the apartment more in person than just from the pictures. Of course, the location is phenomenal - a quiet street with easy access to everything.

Perfect location!

This place was in the heart of Paris! You walk out the door to cobble streets of people going about their day, but still can sleep soundly in the cozy loft. You’re close to everything you want or need in Paris, and the owner is kind and ready to answer any question you might have. Amazing stay I’ll never forget!

All the basics in a great location

Frank was a delight. He was courteous and showed us everything we needed when we arrived. It was a seamless process. The space is quite small, but we really didn’t spend much time there anyway. The location is ideal and you can walk anywhere in Paris from the apartment. Recommend to anyone on a budget who wants to walk the city!

Great owner, great place, great location

If you want to stay in a great place in the heart of Paris, this is it. Wherever you want to go, you can get there from here. There are great places to eat nearby, but if you want to get takeout and eat in, that is not problem. The street has a bunch of art galleries, so if that's your thing, you're in luck. The owner is very accommodating, and will give you all the ins and outs of the neighborhood. Would I go back? Without a doubt.

Great stay :)

Frank was quick in his responses to answer questions and send applicable information. While the building was under construction, he was clear with that information. He was on time at our meeting to get into the flat and available if need be during our time there. The flat is about 2 miles away from Notre Dame and around the block from one of the museums. The location is close to three different metros. I had a great experience and would recommend this location.

The place was quaint and located in a very vibrant neighbourhood. Frank was a gracious host and was available when needed. One regret was the lack of natural lighting.

Thank you Dennis for your comment and your stay. Unfortunately, as advertised, heavy work is underway on the building facade. Windows are all covered by plastic covers in order to avoid dust inside the apartment. Hopefully, next March, everything will be like new.

Frank is very nice and helpful. He made sure the apartment had everything we needed, and that we had a good understanding of how to get around the city, how to use everything in the apartment, and even hailed us a cab to get back to the airport. He really went above and beyond for us. The apartment was perfect for us and the location couldn't have been better. Everything that we wanted to see was within walking distance.

Una settimana al centro di Parigi!

L'appartamento è in una zona centrale. Zone di interesse come il Louvre o Notre Dame sono raggiungibili a piedi in 15/20 minuti. Comunque ci sono due fermate della metro a 5 minuti a piedi per poter girare comodamente tutta la città. E' molto piccolo e adatto a chi vuole solo avere un punto d'appoggio. diverso è se si vuole poter cucinare. l'angolo cottura è molto piccolo ma dotato di ogni confort: bollitore, macchina del caffè, tostapane sono alcuni degli elettrodomestici messi a disposizione. E' presente un letto matrimoniale raggiungibile attraverso una scala. coperte e biancheria in quantità. è possibile anche utilizzare gratuitamente wifi o fare chiamate internazionali verso numeri fissi. In generale l'appartamento è pulito e il proprietario, Frank, è veramente una persona molto disponibile. Al nostro arrivo ci ha fatto accogliere dalla mamma che parla italiano. E' una location che consiglio a coppie giovani.

Great, quiet place with helpful manager

It matches its description and I’d heartily recommend it. I had a great time staying in this little apartment. It has everything you need – bathroom, shower, bed, bedding, linens, towels,, coffee maker, love seat, hide a bed, loft bed, large toaster oven, refrigerator, two burner stove, heater, windows (onto air shafts), foldout table, two chairs, free telephone, tv. The high speed Wi-Fi internet was great. I did three days of work remotely for my job by connecting in via computer. It was quiet from noise of neighbors. And zero street noise because it's on the inside and on a quiet street at that. There may have been some early to mid-evening bustling and conversation of neighbors, but I usually have earplugs and/or a white noisemaker app going, so I don't notice those things anyway. I found the loft bed decent but a little lumpy (although I'm 50 years old so a bit of a prima donna when it comes to beds. The younger need not fear). But I put the hide a bed mattress layer on top and that worked perfectly. I could also have called/emailed Frank and I'm sure he would have rescued me since he clearly wants to provide a great stay for his guests. Frank is always immediately responsive, helpful, and clear in his emails before, during, and after making arrangements. That instantly won me over in my apartment shopping. And throughout he was wonderfully helpful. I emailed him and he emailed right back with very little delay, and likewise with phone calls. He speaks perfect English. Payment arrangements were clear and understandable and trustworthy. The neighborhood could hardly be bette. From a touristic point of view, you can walk to the Pompidou Center in 5 minutes, Picasso museum in 10 minutes, Notre Dame in 12 minutes, Shakespeare and Company bookstore in 15 minutes, the Louvre in 20 or so minutes. . From a practical point of view, the neighborhood has a bunch of great affordable places to eat (Lebanese, Japanese, Chinese, French), take a way traiteurs (delis), great boulangeries every few blocks, cafes. Also grocery stores and pharmacies three blocks away, and coin operated laundromats two blocks away.
