The location was fantastic, between the islands in the Seine and the upper Marais. All within walking distance and such beautiful walking!!! The manager was a joy to work with. He was there personally to show me around the apartment. I loved the view into the courtyards and the church bells. Amenities were perfect. This is a GREAT place from which to explore the real Paris.
As it was me and my partners first time in Paris. This was the perfect stay, it gave you the feel of living in Paris within a perfect area. Everything was close or just a train ride away.
We had a great time staying here! From check in, stay, location-was perfect for me and my daughter to see the city. Public transportation close by to sites. Great food, shopping in this neighborhood. Loved jogging every morning by the Seine. Property was just as posted, very happy.
Host very kind and responsive.
Property was exactly as described! The location in the Marais is perfect! If you are looking for a cost-effective place to stay for one or two people, I highly highly recommend staying here. Accessing the property was seamless, and the owner is friendly and responsive! We stayed for a week. It was myself and my 15 year old son it was the perfect homebase for exploring Paris!
The location was perfect for our walking and metro tours of Paris with many great bars and restaurants nearby. Everything was clean and working well. The window opens to the block's interior, meaning it is quiet day and night. Just be mindful of the 95 steps to get to the room on what we would call in the US the 5th floor.
Amazing location! It was my first time in Paris and solo trip and location could not have been better!
I walked pretty much everywhere I needed to.
Ubers were super cheap cause everything is close to the location.
Metro easy too.
Surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars.
Very very safe.
Apartment was nice, true description in the page.
Saved it in my google maps as I will be staying there if I visit again.
Loved the location, in the Marias but down a quiet street. The stairs are no joke, especially if you are hauling a lot of luggage, so keep that in mind. The person who met me was very sweet and showed me how everything worked. The place was clean and while small, had everything I needed for my stay. It’s an older building so the stairwell is a little musty, but that’s about the only complaint I have besides the stairs!
We enjoyed the location. Small and quaint. Nice sunrise into the window. Lovely to look out over rooftops, the church tower and the courtyard. After day 2 got used to the stairs. Good for those with carry on bags. Such charm. Loved the neighborhood. Exactly what we wanted for a true local paris experience. We enjoyed Paris so much.
This was a new area of the Marais for me and was an excellent location. The host was extremely helpful and gave great info on where to eat and shop nearby. Apartment was fully equipped (no AC warm in summer). A stand up fan was suffice with nice summer breeze thru the open French windows. Charming bell tower near by. There is no lift and is a climb. I enjoyed my stay very much.
Great location near Notre Dame and close to metro stops. Doesn’t take long to get to all the hot sites. Host was amazing, very welcoming. The neighborhood is great with cafes and shops, busy on Saturday but relatively quiet the rest of the week. Some renovations being done to the building currently so expect some work or noise during the day for that. 98 stairs up to your room. Small and quaint, missing a comfortable place to sit if you are taking a break. Just 2 beds and a dinette
This apartment was exactly what we needed for our short stay in Paris. The unit is in a quiet section of the Marais within an easy 10 minute walk to Les Halles and all the surrounding activity including shopping, restaurants and museums and cultural spots. It is a beautiful and easy walk to Notre Dame and just a bit further to the Louvre but there are plenty of shops to visit along the way. It is also a very easy and inexpensive commute from CDG by ReR. You must be in decent physical condition to manage the stairs to the top, but the exercise just means you can indulge in more delicious food! There is a small grocery half a block from the apartment as well as a wonderful boulangerie just around the corner for fresh bread and other tasty treats in the mornings. The landlord is very accommodating and is quick to respond to any inquiries. We will stay here again without hesitation.
Perfect location- very quiet and secure, but close to everything. Comfortable space with all the necessities provided. Host was exceptionally helpful and informative. Highly recommend!
What a fantastic spot. Super quiet yet walk 30 seconds to end.of the road and its bustly and lively. Really helpful check in guy. Really fantastic location and for a tiny room it had everyhting and my friend and i werent tripping up over each other.

Simple but heartwarming.
You can feel authentic mood in the center of cultural district.
A good summer memory for me.
If you’re looking for a quiet place for 1 or 2, with all you need for sleeping and making a quick breakfast before sightseeing around Paris for the day, this is the place! Wonderful old building, as described, allowed an early check in for me, and the location was perfect. A fan would have been nice for the heat, but I survived with the windows open. The top floor location is very quiet with the courtyard facing window. I only heard people coming up the stairs occasionally, but otherwise was able to get great sleep despite being in the busy Marais district.
A very atmospheric studio at the top of a very old le Marais building in a quiet but very central location. Highly recommended despite the 4 flights of stairs.
Small studio in great area, in historic building. Clean and adequately stocked.Pleasant and helpful owner. Situated up four flights of stairs. Window overlooking courtyard, lovely wooded beams. Perfect for 2.
It was a calm neighbourhood and close to everything we needed. Nice small shops and cafés with walking distance to i. e. Notre Dame. The apartment was as promised and check in was easy. The belltower was a nice touch. We would book it again!
Heerlijk verbleven. Fijn gelegen in de Marais. Bus en metro op loopafstand. Het is er lekker stil. Aardige host.
I stayed in the studio with my niece for 1 week in April. It was a perfect location; the studio was well equipped and clean. Jean-Marie was very helpful and responsive.

Now, my wife lives with my two sons in Spain and me, i work in Paris, every night, i m policeman, and the journey, i can be with my guests. As my wife is spanish, it was an opportunity for the sons to discover a different lifestyle.I built this apartment as i would like to be but with the character of this District, wood-original floor-it was important to restore it in this historical District, Le Marais-
Why they chose this property
I grew up in this area, i know it perfectly, it changed so quickly, before it was like a village, it s the downtown with these old buildings and the parisians appreciate it so much and each week end, they come to walk on these small streets to feel the past, the authenticity of Paris;
