Oceanfront Cottage For 2! Quiet, kayaking, and enjoy the natural beauty!

Located on the shores of Linekin Bay is the cottage you have been searching for. It's a romantic cottage built for one or two with breathtaking views of the natural beauty that surrounds it. The views from your cottage include Barrett's Park, Lobster Cove, Linekin Bay and world famous Cabbage Island. Watch the bright red sunrises and see how the sky changes to shades of light pinks and blues as the dawn comes forth. It's a spectacular sight that will remain with you forever. Step out onto your porch and experience the smell of the fresh morning salt air. Relax with your morning coffee made with a Keurig coffee pot so bring your K-cups! The cottage has a microwave, full sized refrigerator, cable T.V., and Wi-Fi. The bathroom has hot and cold water with a shower.

There is a dock for your kayak or use of our kayaks, included in your rental. For larger boats we have a mooring with 7' of water at low tide that can be used, when available. Be sure to visit us during Windjammer Days, an annual event that lasts for a week!

You can walk down the street and have your shore dinner prepared by one of the local restaurants. The town center is a 5 minute walk where there is unlimited shopping and local seafood restaurants, boats are moored and at dockside in the harbor.
From the harbor you can catch a whale watching boat, deep sea fishing boat, take a sail on the Eastwind, or just a nice cruise around the harbor and surrounding islands and watch the seals, puffins and whales in their natural habitat.

This is a Maine vacation at its best and one that will call you back to the unique and beautiful shores of Boothbay Harbor.

Transportation is available from the Portland International Jetport or the Concord Coach bus stop in Wiscasset.
We are located just off the Maine Island Trail between the Sheepscot and Damariscotta Rivers. Paddle right up to our dock for a few nights rest and the exploration of Boothbay Harbor on foot and approximately 5 miles north of Damariscove Island.

No extra overnight guests allowed. This is a non-smoking and non vaping (inside and outside) and no pet property.

Not for people with environmental allergies.

We were not able to stay in this cabin due to our allergic sensitivities. Cabin looked as in photos, but it was too musty for us personally. Location was nice. The host worked with us, and the majority of our cost was refunded. While this place would be a nice stay for most, those with environmental sensitivities may want to consider alternative accommodations.

A very special spot for a little getaway! Cottage is set up with everything you need and located away from the busy downtown tourist area of Boothbay Harbor. We took advantage of the kayaks and found our morning coffee on the little porch just delightful. Communication and instructions were clear- this property is highly recommended!

This cottage was perfect for us. We are low maintenance when vacationing. Shorts, tee-shirts and out the door. Our stay was very peaceful with a great view and a 10 min. walk took us to Boothbay’s restaurants and shops. The owner and everyone associated with him were kind and helpful.

Nice water front cottage

Quiet cottage in cove area

Property was well maintained, clean rooms and comfortable Bed. Kitchen is well equipped . Owners are so gracious and friendly . They live on the site . Property manager so great and attentive to all your needs and questions !

Beautiful but NO Dock

The Cottage is VERY small. And the ad was fraudulent about a dock. "There is a dock for your kayak or use of our kayaks, included in your rental." There was NO Dock. Kayaks yes but you had to roll them up a hill and over 800 yards to the park. Not recommended for elderly. Requested clean towels for week two and were told where there was a laundromat. No oven. We bought them a card table so that we would have a table to use.

Lovely Cottage

Small, but cozy, this waterfront cottage had everything we needed. Great location - just a short walk into the town. The only improvements would be for Internet service, which often had no connection for long periods of time, and the steep gravel walkway which made hauling luggage difficult. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Waterfront Cottage

Nice little cottage looking out over Linekin Bay. We really enjoyed being a little off the beaten path but a short drive or walk into Boothbay Harbor.

The Maine Getaway

The cottage was small but beautifully decorated with the Maine coastline in mind. It was located near Boothbay Harbor and close enough that you could walk across the walkway to the town. Two problems; the TV cable box was placed so that it was hard to change channels. Also, the stairs down the hill to the cottage were challenging to manage.

Peaceful Waterfront cottage within walking distance of Boothbay Harbor

Fantastic location facing the water and a park on the other side of the cove. Very quiet and peaceful. Cottage is a wonderfully decorated, cleverly designed studio, tiny but functional, above the water and way below the main house .

Wonderful week in BoothBay

My husband and I spent a wonderful week Lobster Cove Cottage. It was small but very well laid out and had fabulous views of the the water/cove. We unpacked our suitcases and put those back in the car and that gave us plenty of room in the cottage. We loved waking up and sitting on the deck with out coffee. We ate most of our meals on the deck too. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked several dinners as well as all of our breakfasts there. The cottage is in easy walking distance to Booth Bay Harbor and we enjoyed going into town in the evening. The owners were incredibly nice and very responsive when the WiFi went out briefly and needed to be rebooted. Overall we loved this cottage and would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Birthday Week - We'll be back!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lobster Cove cottage - couldn't think of a better place to stay and celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. The cottage was even more impressive in-person. We loved sitting on the porch watching the shore birds, kids and dogs playing in Barrett Cove, and the daily tide move in and out. The kitchen is a great size so we were able to bring a lot of food from our gardens and enjoy breakfast and lunch at the cottage. The bed is comfy and the windows and natural light are just perfect for being so close to the water. Mac and Nan are so sweet and Vanese made sure all of our needs were met. Best Maine vacation yet - we'll be back!!!

The most perfect spot!

The location of this cottage cannot be beat. It is RIGHT on the water! The sun rises over the cove, casting beautiful morning light. I've never willingly got up at 6AM to exercise until waking up to that view! You have a private dock for kayaking and swimming. Yes, swimming! The water is so shallow at low tide it actually got warm enough to swim. Across the cove is a well maintained little park where we enjoyed watching the dogs and children play. It's was very quiet and peaceful but only a 10 minute walk from all the restaurants, bars, and attractions. There's also a lot to do a short drive away. Ocean point was incredibly beautiful and I highly recommend Glidden Point Oyster Farm. It's got a brewery vibe, but for oysters.

So relaxing !

This tiny cottage is right on the water and offers relaxing views. Boothbay Harbor offers a wide choice of restaurants and activities. Vanese was responsive and so helpful when we needed something. We came to this space from a large house and found the cottage a little cramped but we had a great time.

Perfect

The cottage - and the location - was just fabulous. The cove is nice a calm and excellent for just lazing around in the kayaks. The cottage itself is comfy and had everything we needed. And being only a 10 minute leisurely walk into Boothbay Harbor (and all the wonderful shops and restaurants) we could be around the crowds if we wanted, but it was always nice to go back to our quiet place after we've had enough. Nan and Vanese were very helpful, and made sure we were comfortable while still giving us plenty of privacy.

Beautiful little cottage!

Such a great layout, use of space in a cute cottage with outstanding views. Really enjoyed kayaking around the area! Nan and Mac are super nice and helpful too.

Room with a view

This is a beautiful little cottage which sits behind & below the owners home and is directly on the water. It is tastefully appointed with a comfortable bed, a well equipped kitchen which we put to good use during our stay, expansive windows and a lovely porch overlooking the dock & the water where we enjoyed our morning coffee & often ate our dinner. The location was perfect --very quiet & private, but only a 15 minute walk across a century old pedestrian bridge to the charming village of Boothbay Harbor. We also enjoyed access to the two kayaks which afforded us the opportunity to explore the bay and get a bit of exercise.

A wonderful experience and beautiful cove

We spent our honeymoon at Nan and Mac's place. The location could not be more beautiful - a perfect vantage point to observe the sunrise, tides and wildlife in a quiet cove. The cottage is a studio with a small porch overlooking the water - perfect for us. We did a good amount of cooking and the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved being walking distance to Boothbay while in a private setting. Would highly recommend!

When my grandparents first began this journey they came to love this neighborhood specifically because of the peace and quiet. The birds sing at daylight, ever changing tides come through our cove, lobstermen can be seen hard at work just across the cove, and beautiful sunrises are often seen! A beautiful place to be.

The cottage is located on the edge of town in a quiet, peaceful area. Being located in the cove allows for even more peace and quiet, while also being close to town and the hustle and bustle. Access to being on the water and downtown!
