About Brad

I love buying truly special properties and enjoy the fact that I can share them with so many others. It is my seventh year with my own vacation rental business.

I have taken such pride in our other properties that I am happy to say that we boast a five star rating on VRBO and countless incredible reviews from our valued VRBO customers. An avid vacation renter myself, I like to provide my guests with every amenity they could possibly need to make their stay a relaxing and memorable one.

Brad purchased this cabin in 2014

Why Brad chose Idyllwild

I fell in love with the charming community of Idyllwild after my very first visit. After searching for the perfect property for over three years, I knew that this place was special from the minute I walked in the door. It was like nothing I had seen before- light and bright with windows boasting incredible views everywhere. With three separate decks, soaring wood ceilings, a flawless floor plan and charm to spare, I can truly say that this fully remodeled stunner is my dream mountain getaway. The home sits on a double lot totaling almost three-quarters of an acre of prime mountain land. I love exploring the property and collecting pine cones and manzanita branches. When you are at this property you truly feel that you have gotten away from it all. Particularly when you come home from a fabulous meal at night and stand on the deck taking in the most incredible view of the stars I have ever seen. What can I say, the place really is magic.

What makes this cabin unique

Because this home sits on a mountainside nestled on a private road, it boasts incredible views and a peaceful environment. Sitting on the deck watching the birds come to feed at the birdhouse is one of my favorite pastimes. I even provide a bird watching book so that you can identify your new friends. Because of the 'windows everywhere' concept of this house, even on a cold day while nestled in front of the fire, you feel like you are outside in the middle of nature.

This home is truly a luxury accommodation. High thread count sheets, soft fluffy towels and comfortable pillows all make for a relaxing stay. Because cooking is a passion of mine, the home is stocked with high quality pots and pans, beautiful dishes and glassware and every kitchen utensil you might need to cook a gourmet meal. The home also has a brand new chef's quality infrared grill.

For those snow-filled wintery days, the home has a beautiful wood burning fireplace/stove and lots of items to entertain you - smart flat screen television, Blu-ray disk player, dvd's, board games and a large book collection.

With all that it has to offer, this home truly is the perfect mountain getaway.

Birdwatcher's Paradise!

  • 5 of 5

Spent Spring Break here with my 75-year-old mother and 13-year-old son. This nicely decorated home has beautiful views right out into the forest. It's clean, quiet and serene - no traffic noise/barking dogs/annoyances of modern-day urban life! Exactly what I was looking for! Close to town for groceries/shopping/restaurants and close to nearby attractions like the Nature Center, Fulmor Lake and Hemet Lake. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was fully stocked. As an avid bird watcher/photographer, I was kept enthralled daily (including in the rain!) by the antics of the forest birds who came to the feeder on the back deck. Species seen included Acorn Woodpeckers, Steller's Jays, White-breated Nuthatches, Pygmy Nuthatches, Mountain Chickadees, Black-headed Grosbeak, and a stunning pair of Northern Flickers (male & female). Fluffy gray squirrels and cute chipmunks picked up any stray seeds that the birds let fall. There are a few things that might be considerations depending on the abilities/needs of those in your party: 1. road down to the cabin is steep, narrow and pavement is damaged - was not an issue for us in April, but I could see it being an issue in winter. 2. Stairs down to first floor (bedrooms) are fairly steep and narrow - could be an issue with accessibility for anyone elderly or with knee problems (my mother is pretty spry, but had a hard time with this). Owners are very helpful and quickly respond to any issues or inquiries. We had a fantastic time and would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Perfect Accommodations

  • 5 of 5

What impressed me most about this amazing home is that every time I thought of something I needed, I looked around and there it was! The owner thought of everything from binoculars to watch the birds from the patio to a milk frother for morning coffee. Your every need is fulfilled. The furniture is very comfortable and the home is very clean and updated. A true find and I hope to return soon.

Beautiful views, comfortable cabin

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for a 4 day weekend in October. We found everything about this house to be more than we expected. It was clean, beautifully updated and comfortable. The furnighings were stylish and very comfortable. The house has two decks and a front patio. The outdoor furniture in all three spaces is new and comfortable. The cabin included everything you need to cook for yourself and to feed the birds! It was wired up with electronics...sounds, games, tv, movies, everything. I especially appreciated the notebook with instructions on all things the house and what to do/where to go in Idyllwild. It is a short drive to town and lots of trails to hike. Very quiet and lovely. Would not hesitate to go here again, in fact, looking forward to it. Another plus is that the owner is very responsive. Highly recommend.

What a jem!

  • 5 of 5

What an amazing find! My fiancé and I just stayed here recently here for short getaway. So romantic! Although it was just the two of us, the cabin could easily accommodate another couple as well. The house is close to town which was allowed us to visit several charming restaurants (Cafe Aroma was our favorite) with ease. I was impressed by how well stocked the kitchen was. It made cooking breakfast at the cabin a breeze, which meant we could enjoy our eggs and coffee on the back patio while enjoying the beautiful views. I was thrilled that there was not one, but two beautiful decks to hang out on and enjoy the amazing views. The house is cozy and beautifully furnished. One other huge plus was the ability to hike straight from the house (although there are also some great trails in town). We both had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

Amazing home with awesome views

  • 5 of 5

I stayed here with my wife and son (10) for four days in June and we absolutely loved this house! It's a short drive to Idyllwild, sights, shops and hiking and situated well for folks looking to explore the area. The home has gorgeous views from its rear decks, and there's plenty of room to stretch out and relax. We spent a large part of our stay in the home enjoying the views and good family time. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and were very comfortable.

The home is clean, recently re-done and fully equipped. We cooked several meals in the home (the new barbecue is awesome) and the kitchen was well stocked. The linens were clean and new, the beds comfortable, and all the fixtures and lights were new and in working order. It's clear the owners love this house - it's very well taken care of!

I strongly recommend this home if you're planning a visit to Idyllwild. It's a perfect place to relax and unwind from daily life or your adventures in the mountains.

Amazing views and a great house!

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely Amazing! This has to be the best view in Idyllwild. My wife and I rented this home for a romantic weekend away and completely fell in love with this place. We spent most of our time sitting on the deck staring at the panoramic views. The home could not be better located. It is extremely private and quiet, yet only a quick 5 minute drive into town. The patio furniture on the deck was really nice and we sat on both the main deck and the master bedroom deck. There is a brand new top of the line grill and we ended up cooking several meals on it. The kitchen was also pretty mind blowing for a house in the woods - so well stocked and everything was high quality - pots, pans, wine and champagne glasses. I couldn't believe that they provided coffee, condiments, a huge selection of spices and everything else we needed. My wife was really impressed with the furnishings - it looks like something out of a magazine and it is obvious that the place is newly remodeled and redecorated. Even the sheets and towels were five-star. The master bedroom was really luxurious - flat screen TV, electric fireplace and great private deck. The bathrooms were also really well stocked - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hairdryer - you name it. It was chilly at night and we made use of the beautiful fireplace - they even provide firewood and fire starter sticks. It was also really nice to deal with an owner who was professional and friendly. I can't recommend this place enough. We can't wait to go back this summer.
