What to say ... we loved coming “home” to the cottage after a day exploring Nova Scotia’s south shore. Arlene and Randy have created a warm, welcoming atmosphere, with all the conveniences. The location is perfect, across the street from Margarets Bay providing stunning views regardless of the weather. The cottage is central for south shore exploration, with the many beautiful beaches, vista’s and of course Lunenburg and Peggy’s Cove a pleasant drive down the shore. Arlene and Randy were wonderful hosts, managing to be available for any requests and providing us with a wealth of information but allowing us our privacy. This is a cottage not to be missed, at such a reasonable price point. Many thanks Arlene and Randy, what a wonderful vacation!!

Warmest regards, Glen and Kandace

Beautiful clean cottage with a view to die for!!

  • 5 of 5

My companion and I were delighted with the cottage, with a view of the bay directly in front and captivating loons to watch fishing for their breakfast every day. Our hosts provided us with lots of information on the area and restaurants, etc. and were so friendly and helpful. Every evening we lounged on the deck with a glass of wine and watched the coming of the evening. During the day we took trips up and down the lovely coast of Nova Scotia and were so happy to return each evening to our cottage. I highly recommend this property.

delightful cottage and helpful hosts

I am adding to the review I wrote earlier today. The hosts were so helpful, they contacted me to let me know I had left a pair of shoes behind, and will be shipping them to my home in the United States.

An exceptional cottage with a magnificent view

  • 5 of 5

This cottage has got it all. Randy and Irene are just lovely and attentive. They have thought of everything you could possibly need to make your stay enjoyable. Well appointed. Great kitchen ,with plenty of cookware, washer/dryer, towels-even beach towels!! And it is extremely clean. Plus you have an amazing view. And yes, the traffic does go by but it does not deter from you enjoying the deck/porch for hours. You are centrally located. The owners have great suggestions for anything in the area. We can't say enough about just how great this place is. Don't hesitate to book!
