Beautiful Area

  • 5 of 5

Like a sea captain's cottage, decorated with paddles and floats and fishes...inside are lots of colorful souvenirs from the hosts' trips to exotic climes. It's right across scenic NS-3 from St Margaret's Bay and an easy drive to Mahone Bay, Lunenburg and the popular destination of Peggy's Cove. The owners are friendly and responsive. Don't miss the farmer's market in Hubbards on Saturday.

3 weeks of living in a Gorgeous little part of Nova Scotias south shore.Relaxing yet enough to do around the immediate area and great local for exploring and getting to other areas.Owners were welcoming and accommodating and tended to any concerns immediately. The most amazing double rainbow over the water capped off my stay.

Ocean waves, sunshine and relaxing.

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at this charming little cottage. Breakfast was on the ocean facing deck with warm sunshine. We had to pop into Halifax a couple times. Only 40 minutes on the scenic route outside of the business traffic. The cottage is warm, comfy, cute and there is everything you need to feel at home. The ocean is just over the road waiting for you to walk along. We would definitely recommend this lovely cottage.

Beautiful seaview property

  • 5 of 5

We spent 9 nights in this beautiful sea view property......home from home with all the facilities to cook and do laundry if this is what you require.

It is located in the gorgeous St Margarets Bay with rail and trail facilities running right behind the property if walking and biking is your thing (bikes to rent at the bike and bean cafe in Upper Tantallon)

Fantastic beaches, hubbards farmers market, The Shore Club all within easy reach as well as easy driving distance to Halifax, Chester, Mahone Bay, Lunenburg and of course the photogenic Peggy's cove.

Many thanks Arlene and Randy for all of your helpful tour and dining suggestions as well as your beautiful clean property.

We would recommend this property and would stay again ourselves.

Wonderful!!!

  • 5 of 5

Oceanview cottage was centrally located facing St. Margaret's Bay with wonderful views. It was an easy drive to Halifax, Peggy’s Cove and Lunenburg. In addition, Arlene’s and Randy’s touring suggestions enhanced our trip. The cottage itself is artistically decorated and well provisioned. We were sad to leave after our stay, but we now have many happy memories.

Exceptional

  • 5 of 5

Property location on St. Margaret's Bay is within driving distance to Supermarkets and plazas.Front patio directly faces the Bay....so very relaxing to be sitting outside.

The cottage itself is more than adequately stocked in cookware, utensils etc., clean, and very attractive inside....We were most comfortable during our week stay.
