Homeaway was Near Everything & Has Everything!!!

  • 4 of 5

Centrally located on beautiful bay, we were but a short drive to all major sites that we wanted to see. Close to Downtown Halifax which has much to see and great food. A visit to Hubbard’s just down the road had a great Saturday Market and great music venues. Cottage had all things to make our home for a week. Thank You Randy & Arlene for being such gracious hosts. Quaint, Clean, Felt like home, Beautiful View of the Bay

  • 5 of 5

As honeymooners, this couldn't have been more perfect. Leading up to our stay, Randy and Arlene communicated with me promptly, answered all my questions, and gave wonderful recommendations to help us get a full Nova Scotian experience. The 1 bedroom, 1 bath cottage is kept very clean, tidy, and is in great condition. Slept with the bedroom window open each night, listening to waves if the bay crash into the shore. During our stay the owners were also on property in a smaller cottage. The cottage is also a duplex. The other side is rented out, and you all share the same washer/dryer. Nothing was an issue. Randy and Arlene are the most friendly and hospitable VR owners I have had the pleasure of meeting. For example, my wife and I got in late and they stocked the fridge with breakfast items for the next morning, and had a fresh brewed pot of coffee waiting in the fridge as well (my wife loves cold coffee). 5 stars. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again, if we get the chance.

Cosy with Beautiful Views and Everything You Need

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I used this as a base to explore Nova Scotia, but just the immediate area offered so many beautiful and interesting things. What a wonderful area! We stayed for ten days and very much enjoyed it. It's compact, but beautifully set up so that there is room for everything and is very very comfortable! Randy and Arlene are wonderful hosts who offered good suggestions. The property was very clean and neat, and even though it fronts a road, there was never an issue with noise. We'd definitely come back!
