Uafhængigt hus, nyrenoveret og omhyggeligt færdig, støder op til Ursino-slottet, det historiske fiskemarked "A Piscaria", adressens termiske bade og ikke langt fra Piazza Duomo (350 meter). Huset har et veludstyret køkken med en stor opholdsstue, soveværelset er hyggeligt og romantisk.
Området er hjertet af det historiske centrum, hvor de vigtigste seværdigheder er inden for gåafstand. I betragtning af den høje koncentration af trattoriaer, typiske sicilianske restauranter, pubber og klubber, vil du indånde nattelivet i Catania og derfor meget populært såvel som om dagen, selv om aftenen og natten, hvilket gør opholdet særlig charmerende og fredeligt.


"Apollo Home" er et roligt og reserveret hus beliggende i hjertet af det historiske centrum, få skridt fra "Ursino-slottet" og fra det gamle fiskemarked kaldet "A piscaria". Hele området er fuld af typiske restauranter, og det hele er omgivet af historiske steder såsom "Terme dell 'URL" og "Terme Achilleiane". Katedralpladsen "Piazza Duomo" er mindre end 200 meter langt væk. Hele lejlighedens areal er over 50 kvm og er nyrenoveret og omhyggeligt færdig.

Excellent stay.

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The apartment was perfect for our needs and the location was within walking distance of all the sites. The apartment was perfectly clean and Diego could not have been a better host. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Best location ever!

We loved our stay. The location is perfect -close the city center, the boisterous fish market is right around the corner, and many sites close by within walking distance. Many eateries near by as well.As for accommodations, they were great with a very comfortable bed, quiet location even though it is right around the corner from all the action. One thing to note, is you must take a very fast shower as the hot water runs out quickly (maybe 5 minutes). Would I stay there again? Absolutely!

Step out to a bustling diverse nightlife right at your doorstep. Great restaurants cocktail bars bands and poetry readings under the rubber tree . Clean modern oasis to return to when you need a little rest from all merriment Catania has to offer

Explore Catania with Apollo home

We had a wonderful stay for approximately 6 nights. From booking questions to the overall communication with the host to greeting us when we arrived. It couldn’t have went any smoother. Great place to stay in Catania

This is an absolutely perfect place to stay. The house/apartment is kept in perfect conditions. Super clean and looks like the pictures you see. I cooked two wonderful meals there. I was able to shop for local ingredients without much of a walk at all. This place is right near the castle and certainly directly in the heart of Catania. Diego, communicates perfectly, and helped me with parking and to understand the area. You can’t go wrong with this place.

Apartment in the middle of the action. Lettera 82 restaurant steps away. Are there almost every night. Downtown within walking distance. Fun shopping.

The perfect stay

Everything about this property was perfect for me. It was spacious and had every amenity. The location was incredible It allowed me to visit Taormina and Ortigia/Syracusa as day trips. Then gave me a relaxing home base where I could walk to the fish market, loads or restaurants, the theater, the shopping on Via Etnea, and see beautiful history everywhere… Diego was very accommodating and so kind. I can’t wait to go back.

Three C's: Clean, Comfortable and Convenient

Our host, Diego, was incredibly resourceful and communicated well before, during and after our stay. The location made all of Catania's center accessible by foot. Driving would have been insane, so we parked where Diego recommended (7 min. walk). The neighborhood has fun stuff going: restaurants, the castle, little piazza, music. With that comes a bit of trash that seems difficult to manage by all (certainly not expected of one home owner).

Loved house, location & support of property owner

This location is surrounded by great restaurants and nightlife. Our morning cappuccino (1.5 euros) was just steps away from our door. There is no easier way to get picked up for a tour or tell a driver where to take you home than being next to the Castello Ursino, a short block from our flat. Diego was kind enough to schedule a service to and from the airport and they were prompt. We want to stay here again!

Perfect stay in Catania!

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and we are so thankful we did! Diego was extremely communicative with us and answered all our questions throughout our stay. The apartment is in a wonderful location; easy to get to amazing restaurants, bars, and things to see and do in the area. Diego even arranged for a driver to come pick us up from the airport and transport us to/from Taormina. Grazie mille Diego!!

Short Title

Diego the owner is a fantastic guy and will do his utmost to help you. The flat is exceptionally clean and is located 10 min from the main square. All is within walk-in distance. If you are looking to discover Catania this is an ideal location to be based.

Quiet flat in centre of Catania

This is a well equipped and attractive flat in the centre of Catania. It's position and design makes it reliably quiet, and yet at the centre of Sicilian exuberance. Market very close. Piazza Borsellino ten minutes away. Diego, the host, couldn't be better. Highly recommended.

Modern and comfortable and spacious

Diego was a very warm host and was eager to please. Everything worked fine in the apartment and I enjoyed the large updated bathroom with spacious shower. The location was excellent with easy access to the train station and to the airport. The piazza Duomo and the main walking streets of town were just steps away. Even closer was the daily street market with all the foodstuffs you could possibly need for cooking at the apartment. I recommend a stay here.

Diego greeted us warmly on arrival. Very thorough explanation of the facility. Modern and convenient walking to the majority of what we wanted to see. Friendly neighbors. We felt safe in the neighborhood. Washing machine works well and we needed it for a 10 day visit. Entry steps (less than 10) are a bit steep, but manageable. All in all a good stay.

Comfortable and Convenient

Cozy apartment conveniently located to the center of Catania. You are a one minute walk to Castello Ursino and a five minute walk to Catania's central fish market. There are plenty of excellent restaurants and cafes located within easy walking distance of the apartment. It was very clean and comfortable. Diego was an outstanding host who was always available. He answered all our questions and arranged for our taxi transportation from and return to the airport. We had an enjoyable and a memorable experience.

Nice apartment in good location.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Diego was very accommodating with our early arrival into Catania and we were able to store our bags while the apartment was being cleaned. He even carried them up the steep flight of stairs which was no easy task. He also came back when we had trouble letting ourselves in. (Turn all the way anticlockwise and give a little pull). The square nearby is a little noisy at night but it didn’t bother us. Lots of nice places to eat and only a 5 minute walk to the main square.

Great Location, Great Host

We had a great stay in Apollo Home. The location can't be beat--everything is close by, easily walkable. There are restaurants and coffee bars everywhere. We loved all of it.Diego is a wonderful host. He was there to check us in, went over all we needed to know, and even showed up the morning we were leaving to see that the cab he had ordered for us (not his usual company) showed up on time. He's very kind and friendly.The flat is very clean and comfortable. The renovations to modernize an old building have been done nicely. We especially loved the old brick and stone so beautifully exposed in spots. It's also quiet. The thick walls keep noise at bay, as do the modern sound-blocking windows. The balcony doors let in plenty of light and a glimpse into the neighbourhood, which is safe and friendly. Highly recommended for a stay in Catania.
