Welcome to Casa Marcelo! This beautiful, spacious, and comfortable vacation rental house is in the secured, gated community of Costa del Sol. Walk to the secluded tropical beauty of rich vegetation and palm trees that adorn the pristine volcanic black sand of Playa Bejuco beach.

Casa Marcelo is located in the Central Pacific region less than two hours from San Jose’s international airport. It’s also just 30 minutes away from the popular tourist town of Jaco to the north and 30 minutes from the famous Manuel Antonio National Park to the south.

This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house is ideal for families, couples, and small groups. The home features an open floor plan with a large kitchen, living and dining area for entertaining friends and family. The back of the home opens up to a large covered patio area and private pool. This newly built home is modern Mediterranean style, with amenities such as individually controlled air conditioning in every room, wireless high speed internet, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, and washer and dryer.

The well equipped kitchen comes with stainless steel appliances, custom-built cabinetry, cookware, dishes, utensils and a kitchen island with bar stools. It’s a perfect place to enjoy your meals. You may also enjoy a family dinner in the dining room with seating for six. The living room has comfortable seating, a 37-inch high-definition TV, cable television, and high-speed Internet access.

Enjoy lounging on the large covered patio while being cooled by ceiling fans. Relax while being surrounded by lush tropical landscaping, fruit trees and your own private pool. The patio is the perfect spot to drink your morning coffee, enjoy visiting hummingbirds, read a book, or just listen to the soft roar of ocean waves.

The beautiful mosaic tiled private pool invites you to do nothing but refresh and relax. At night enjoy the ambiance of the beautiful illuminated pool while looking at the starry night sky. A conveniently located outdoor shower is great for rinsing off sand or just cooling off.

The Master bedroom has a King size bed with an over-sized bathroom with a shower and walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a Queen sized bed with a large closet, and private bathroom.The third bedroom has two twin beds with ample closet space and, a private tub/shower combination bathroom.

The attached garage features a remote controlled garage door opener and has direct access to the kitchen area.

In addition to the amenities in the private home, the private gated community has two public swimming pools, a pool bathhouse, tennis court, BBQ rancho with Free Wi-Fi, and 24 hour security.

Take a dip in one of the tropical community pools; prepare some fresh catch on the grill in the large BBQ rancho, or enjoy a game of tennis on the community court. One of the most popular things to do is take a leisurely stroll along the uncrowded and beautiful Blue Flag-awarded beach of Playa Bejuco. I love Costa Rica and want to share the experience of this beautiful country with others. Casa Marcelo is situated in the Costa Del Sol community, within walking distance to Playa Bejuco, a blue flag designated beach. From the property, you can walk to the brilliantly clean, black sand beach, lounge in the backyard pool, or mingle with other residents in the community pools and other common areas. Costa Del Sol is a safe gated community located in the central pacific coast of Costa Rica. It is just 200 meters away from the beach which is a nice place to practice surfing or just working out your tan. The place is surrounded by forest and lots of nature amenities like Lapas (macaws), and other exotics birds which make Costa del Sol the right place to stay while you are in holiday.

The unique benefits of Casa Marcelo are not only due to its location, but also the style of the home. Where else can you harvest Star Fruit, limes, bananas, and other exotic fruits from the neighborhood trees? To the south you are only about 40 minutes from beautiful Manuel Antonio rain forest. To the north, only a 30 minute drive separates you from the vibrant Jaco nightlife and great surfing beaches of Hermosa.

Synonymous with relaxation, the airy and open beach house plan is designed to take advantage of the abundant sunshine, sea breezes, and warm climate. Every room of the house is blessed with large ceiling fans. An open floor plan also allows for a pleasant breezeway that diminishes the need to use the available air conditioning.

Only a five minute jog from your front door, enjoy and early morning run along the black sand beach or simply stay within the community stopping only to harvest a few exotic fruits from local trees. Return home and rinse off in the outdoor shower before relaxing in the backyard pool. For the true eco-tourism adventure, visit Manuel Antonio Park. Enjoy one of the most impressive landscapes of the world. The park has several coves with many white sand beaches and lush foliage amidst great mountains and forests that reach the beaches. Additionally, it is located in the tropical forest. It has a large land and marine biodiversity with beautiful coral reefs. For those times when you just need a different type of experience, check out the newly opened Crocs Casino Resort in nearby Jaco. Great place! Dan is a great host, he communicated with us on all the details and even gave us easy directions. House is wonderful. Located in a gated community with access to two pools and easy walk to the beach. There are close by options for food and adventures. You can't go wrong with this choice.

Beautiful Property

The owner of this property is very accommodating---he helped make the house childproof for our toddlers and whenever we had a question about something he was very quick to help us. The house and pool are beautiful. The kitchen is full of all the tools needed to prepare meals. Our family loved using the back porch table and chairs to eat all of our evening meals. The house is fairly close to a gorgeous beach, which had the most breathtaking sunsets in the timeframe we were there (January/February). The house is also just a short drive to a grocery store, gym, chiropractor, salon, and a pizza restaurant that makes the most delicious pizza ever! The gated community has the most wonderful, friendly security staff and two stunning pools that our toddlers enjoyed. We would recommend this property to anyone!!!

Enjoyed our stay

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property. We pretty much had everything we needed to enjoy this property and area. We each had our own clean space to sleep. The neighborhood was clean, quiet and relaxing. However, during our afternoon tanning/swimming sessions at the property we turned the music up to enjoy/celebrate being on vacation. The neighbors didn't seem to mind as we were courteous to only play loud music only during the afternoon. I highly recommend
