This is the upstairs unit of our COMPLETELY RENOVATED Duplex (downstairs listed separately and you can rent both). Each unit has 3 beds and 2 baths, and at least 1 parking spot in the carport (2) if the downstairs unit is not rented.
Air conditioned and all new everything; furniture, appliances, mattresses, mattress/pillow covers (allergen free), sheets, towels, flooring, lighting, windows, insulation, and more!
Master bedroom has a king size bed with Memory Foam Pad (removable if you like firmer bed)
2nd bedroom has a queen size bed with Memory Foam Pad (removable if you like firmer bed)
3rd bedroom is the largest room with a bunk bed and Futon couch that folds down into a full size sleeper. Bunk has a twin size top mattress and twin size trundle (pulls out from under bed), and a full size bottom mattress - sleeps 4 easily
We also provide a fold up futon foam mattress for the floor (great for small children that want to sleep in-room with parents)
Pack and Play available upon request for baby sleeper.
2 Full Bathrooms complete with pebble floors, big cushy towels, bench for your clothes, 1st bathroom large shower with bench, 2nd bathroom has bath/shower combo. Medicine cabinets and under cabinet storage. Toilet paper, tissues and liquid bath soap provided.
Everything you'll need; dishwasher, gas range/oven, microwave, fridge with ice maker, utensils, pots & pans, dishes, blender, rice cooker/slow cooker, etc...
SMART TV's in every room! Giant 65' in living room! Tons of books and DVDs. Video games (Game Cube). Board games, children's books, toys. Free WIFI of course. :)
The patio on our upper unit has a table with 6 chairs, places to hang your towels, an easy to use BBQ with propane tank (extra in garage in case you need it). Its a great place to spend the end of the day - smelling the ocean breeze or catch some rays during the day.
FREE use of our (HE) front-load washers and dryers in the garage (each unit has dedicated washer/dryer) / brand new! NO COINS - NO WAY! You are our guests! Soap also provided.
37th Street is a GREAT street. It is quieter than most and has less traffic. The curbs are red on our side of the street so no one will be parking in front of our house loading and un-loading (it can be really annoying). We also have less car traffic as it is a one-way street. We are next to the alley on one side of the duplex so we have less neighbor noise as well.
The boardwalk starts on 36th street so we are just out of the way of the traffic of the boardwalk (great for families with small children as the boardwalk can get very crowded), but close enough if you want to hop on the trail to 21st street/Main Street!
Just a quick walk across the street is a little playground with jungle gym, shady grass area for picnics, and swings. Also a great basketball court (bathrooms and water fountain).
Take a morning stroll with your coffee just past the park to Newport Island and look at all of the beautiful water front beach cottages.
Dolphins love 37th street! Highly likely you will see them playing in the waves several times throughout your stay. I think they like the local surfers. :)-
Parking in Newport is often difficult (mostly in summer and weekends) we offer 1 parking spot in carport per unit (possibly 2 if one of units is not rented).
You are welcome to use our beach cruisers (7 adult and 2 kids), boogie boards, surf boards(long boards, Sushi Board), skim boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, pop up tents, beach chairs, wetsuits (children sizes), etc...

Please note...this is a family vacation house - not a party house. We only rent to people 25 years and older. No EVENTS or PARTIES. If your looking for a party house...this is not the house for you!

We are a local family that loves the beach! We take pride in our beautiful beach house and really want you to enjoy your stay as much as we do when we are here! We manage our own property which shows in the details! It is super clean and super cute. We really care and know the property well since we stay here too! If you need anything at all - we live less than 10 minutes away and will be there in a heartbeat.

This property is 6 houses from the sand and has a beautiful and peaceful beach with great surf for all levels. Its also completely renovated with new furniture, appliances, windows, insulation, beautiful laminate flooring, just steps away from the beginning of the boardwalk but, away from the chaos, next to a lifeguard station, playground, walking distance to great restaurants, bank, grocery store, etc....GREAT LOCATION!!!! Also have the downstairs unit available if you want to book both units at the same time. This unit is 1000 sq ft and the downstairs unit is a little larger at 1300 sq ft. vrbo #641842

Everything is new, clean, modern, beautiful....We don't charge for laundry , or beach toys, linens, beach towels, etc...there are 2 sets of new LG washers/dryers in garage, we have boogie boards, surfboards and beach cruisers that typically rent for $25/day. Great house - close to beach and fully-stocked for beach fun!
Lisa’s place is perfect for a beach getaway. It’s close to the beach, super clean, very nicely decorated, and she has all the beach stuff covered too - bikes, boogie boards, chairs, beach towels, wetsuits in all sizes. Lisa is easy to work with - responsive to emails and meets you at the house to get you oriented. Highly recommend. We will be back.

Wonderful beach house steps from the sand!
We just stayed a week at this wonderful beach house. Our host Lisa was amazing from the first communication. She has really thought of everything that one would need to enjoy the beach plus bikes for cruising around. Great location to the pier, grocery, shops and eateries. The kitchen is nicely stocked and the grill was great on the deck. The place was exactly as photographed and very clean. All the bedrooms were very comfortable and included nice linens. We stayed in the upstairs unit and never heard the downstairs guests during our week there. Having a designated parking spot was fantastic as well because parking can be a challenge. Huge plus! Our family enjoyed our visit and would return in a heartbeat! Highly recommend!!

Relaxing and perfect STAY-cation
We still haven't checked out...just sitting here with a hot cup of coffee, enjoying the perfect weather after a great night's rest. Everything you could ever need in this immaculate upper unit is here, which really makes it a great weekend getaway since our home is 15 minutes away. Well stocked kitchen, great Weber BBQ grill, comfortable beds (amazing!!), linens and beach towels galore, 3 flat-screen TVs, luxurious and modern bathrooms(2), beach toys and chairs, bikes, spacious deck with built-in seating and permanent shade (this is not yet reflected in the photos on the website). One thing that sets this rental apart from others is Air Conditioning (state-of-the art-Mitsubishi wall units that work quickly and quietly) in each room. Most beach homes have NO A/C. Not that we needed it much this weekend, but if we rented in the high summer months, this would be a huge plus. Lisa was a joy to work with and pleasure to meet. She has thought of EVERY detail, and I mean every detail, to provide the most pleasurable beach-living experience for anyone who has the privilege to stay here! Although 1000sf sounds small, it was amazing how well laid out the floor plan is for up to 8 people, and it was more than enough space for our group.
The location allowed us to walk to Cannery Village for dinner, walk to Pavilions on 32nd St, and using Balboa Blvd from PCH to access the neighborhood meant avoiding the heavy traffic on Newport Blvd going onto the peninsula. As is the case with any beach rental, parking is definitely challenging, but there are strategies you can use to help, ie taking available non-metered street parking so the garage space is available for your guests. Thank you, Lisa, we look forward to more STAY-cations in the future!

Beautiful, Clean, and Perfect Location!
I can't say enough good things about this beach house! After a horrible experience this summer in a different place I was pleasantly surprised with this gem. Lisa the owner met us at the property and gave us all the information we needed. The property was beautiful and CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. From the sheets, to coverlets, to towels everything smelled fresh and looked brand new. Nothing was overlooked- tv's in every room, beach towels, books and toys for little ones, AC IN EVERY ROOM, FANS IN EVERY ROOM (if you've stayed in Newport you know this is a luxury and it was amazing), fans in bathrooms, filtered water, new appliances, shampoo, conditioner, etc literally nothing was forgotten! Outside you will find a key pad garage door stocked with boogie boards, bikes, skim boards, surf boards, over 10 wet suits, bike pump, washer and dryer, huge assortment of beach toys, chairs, umbrellas- you name it. Every trip to Newport I've had to load up sheets, bikes, beach gear etc and it is such a pain. Any questions I text Lisa she responded within minutes. This trip was a breeze and I've never been happier with a stay. We cannot wait to come back next summer!

Best experience to date.
Everything you would want in a beach house for a family was here. Were able to take the kids on a bike ride to the pier and park with bikes for all. We finished the day at the beach with boogie boards, skim boards, and toys for the little ones. The home had a lot of great board games with full cable TV. The owner was available with everything working and clean including washer and dryer for just our unit. Our experience was so good we are already planning our next trip.

The house is just across the street from park with playground, swings, bathrooms and locals favorite basketball court. Just steps away from bridge the Newport Island. A great walking neighborhood. Fun Tourist Spots: Balboa Island (10 minutes), South Coast Plaza (10 minutes), Fashion Island (10 min), Disneyland (20-30 minutes away), Los Angeles (1 hour away), San Diego (1 hour away), Big Bear /Arrowhead (2 hours)
