About Kim Bergstrom
I'm Kim Bergstrom. My husband, Eric Bergstrom, have built on my father's dream of owning a beachfront house on the Oregon Coast. We now own three, and much to my husband's dismay we continue to grow. We purchased our family beach house from my father in 1996, and have thrived through sweat equity - most people think of us as rather crazy, but we've taken something we love to do and are making it our second chapter in life. We enjoy taking properties with potential and great location, adding a facelift without removing the character, and introducing them to our expanding group of guests. Our latest endeavor is a turn of the century three story house which will sleep 20. We put a lot of thought and work into each house, and luckily have found guests who love the results. Like many of our guests we've come to know over the years, we hope you also come to think of this special house as your very own vacation home - without all the work!

Why Kim Bergstrom chose Neahkahnie Beach
This house was a true labor of love. Our regular construction guys gave us the side-eye and the big thumbs down. The work required was immense. Well, you'd be sagging too if you were 100 years old! Face lifts (lifting saggy beams), new plumbing and wiring, insulating where there once was none, saving all the old wood features from construction guys used to ripping out and throwing away. The reward comes when the finish is buffed, polished, and ready for our guests. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience! We hope you enjoy - we've already had great feedback from our regular guests who have stopped by to take a look, and long time guests of the original owners, who have already booked their vacation. We hope you enjoy it, too!

This was the best beach house! We loved everything about it and it came supplied with everything we possibly could have needed! Will definitely want to stay here again!

Family reunion success
The Reed House was a huge hit with our family. There was plenty of room for everyone and not once did we feel the pinch of having our whole family together. The weather was perfect our entire stay.
Fantastic Environment for Groups!
We were able to stay here thanks to our studio for the whole weekend and it made for an amazing place to foster our creativity as a group. We spent our time creating and learning and the coast was the perfect backdrop for it. The house was beautiful, clean, and just as described and the hosts were incredibly accommodating and kind. 10/10 would stay again, we are already planning for next year!
When we walked in, we felt like we'd walked through the TV into an HGTV reveal. Your home, Kim, was a gift for us this spring break, a place of rest after a grueling month with my dad in hospice. He passed on a Thursday and we were in your lovely home the following Monday. The views from nearly every window soothed as did the room to spread out. We had two hilarious ping pong tournaments downstairs as well.
Wonderful House & Wonderful Location
We had a great stay at the Historic Reed House. The weather was mixed while we were there, but the house was comfortable and roomy, with a beautiful view while we were indoors - so time inside was no problem at all. And the beach access right across the street for once the weather cleared was amazing.
Incredibly, the accommodations and the area were both more beautiful than they looked in the pictures. We were very thankful to be able to stay there.
