This small cozy nest of 25 m², is ideally located in the heart of the historic district of the Marais, in a very lively and busy area, day and night during the summer. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the famous places of the town hall, and Vosges.
Entirely renovated, it benefits from a neat decoration, and from all the modern conveniences, dishwasher, washing machine, television with the foreign channels and Internet connection WIFI.

This non-smoking studio is on the 1st floor of an old building, typical of the Marais with a very beautiful height under ceiling.

We were really pleased. But do be ready for the apartment as described — you need to be game for the ladder to the small comfy loft bed area. And probably bring earplugs if you don’t enjoy all night bar chatter from across the way. We didn’t mind it, made us feel vicariously young —but be ready for a lotta nighttime noise. The host was super accommodating to our specific request to drop off luggage early and responsive to questions. We loved it.

Great location. Perfect place for one or two people. Has all the amenities needed. Very clean. Paul comes in person to meet you at check in time to give the keys and show you around the apartment. He is very easy to communicate with. It is the second time l rented from Paul and would do so again.

Superb location right in the centre of the city. I walked everywhere and got a real feel for the layout. Planned mornings north of the river, afternoons south nipping back to the appartment for a rest in between.

Enjoyable stay

Pros: It was clean and comfortable, especially the mattress. Location is convenient to many things. Had everything we needed. Check-in, check-out process was easy. Cons:The bar across the street is loud until the early morning hours. At one point the water was shut off and I messaged the host but he never replied. Fortunately, it was back on by the morning, but that was very concerning.

Fabulous location

We loved the location as it is so easy to get to the subway or walk to town . The facilities were good and the bed ok although it may get pretty hot in the summer . No TV .A couple of flights of stairs but well lit .The place was getting fixed on the outside so it was covered in scaffolding and mesh so no view . Big of a shame but the rest made up for it . Good value for money .

Hard to beat this location

We had a great time here, from the time Paul met us at the front door, until we checked out four days later. You can see it on the map, but the location is outstanding. It's only a few minutes' walk to many of Paris' attractions. And if it's not a quick walk to the attraction (e.g., the catacombs or Arc de Triomphe), it's a minute or two to the nearest Metro (Hotel de Ville, Line 1 for East-West, connecting to many others) or maybe 3-5 to Chatelet / Chatelet Les Halles (Line 4 for North-South, and many others, including the regional RER).The kitchen is well-appointed with all you would need to make basic meals. There is a microwave, a medium-sized fridge (with small freezer compartment), a stovetop, and a dishwasher. There is no oven, but I would doubt one would need one on vacation.There is also a regular washing machine. No dryer, but the provided drying rack is good for what one may need on vacation.I want to add a point, in case it is not obvious from the pictures: The stairs to the loft are quite small and steep, so you need to consider that if you have mobility issues. Also, there is a bar immediately across the street, where groups of people gather and chat until very late. It's not a problem if you're not a light sleeper, or if you can keep the windows closed. No A/C - those are uncommon in Paris, because the only really hot and muggy days are in the first two weeks of August. So open window is necessary. There are heaters for winter, and a good towel warmer.

Nice little place

The place meets the requirements to stay in a good area for the cost. If you have mobility issues, the loft sleeping area may be a challange. Everything else is acceptable.The area felt safe had and all the amenities.

charming studio in super location in the Marais

My landlord was so attentive and eager to help. My late arrival could have caused problems but he patiently waited and walked me through the ins and outs of the studio. He returned the next day to check that all was fine and was very kind helping me out on departure day. I left with nothing but favorable impressions and would especially recommend this studio for younger clients as stairs can be a problem for older folks. The location could not be better as everything you need is a short walk away. thank you Marc for all your help.

Christmas Trip

We ended a two week Christmas market trip with a 5 day stay in Paris at this location. It was in a great area and was just right for the two of us. Paul was very helpful meeting us on location for check in and gave us a quick tour. We would definitely stay here again.

The Host is super nice! Communication is awesome and he is great at answering any questions. Our only negative is the location of the bed. The stairs are difficult and the room is too small up there (ceiling low). If it were my property, I would get rid of the cabinet and tiny couch and put the bed on a frame downstairs by the window. The washer worked great! The kitchen is nice and the fridge is much bigger than I thought it was going to be. We loved the location. Starbucks right around the corner was great! We didn’t hear any street noise during the night. The location is very safe.

Perfectly placed apartment

Paul's apartment was perfect for our stay in Paris. It is in a wonderful location, just 15 minutes' walk from The Louvre, 10 mins from Notre Dame and within easy reach of Metro stations to get your where ever you would like to go. The apartment is in the Marais district which is a vibrant area with plenty of restaurants and stores. The aprtment was clean and very neat. The stairs up to the bed are a little precarious, but we managed fine. There is all you will need provided, although we actually spent very little time actually in the apartment other than to shower and sleep. Paul was very accomodating and met us at the apartment to show us around. Some comments do mention the bar across the street, and yes, it is a very busy bar, even on cold November evenings, however the apartment has new double glazed windows so you can't here it too much. Overall, a great place to stay whilst in Paris, will certainly be back again.

Quaint authentic Parisian location

The property is close to so many attraction and located in a very authentic art of Paris. I should say I was her in off season at a cool time of year. In summer this could be very hot. As well there is a new bar across the street that if you are a light sleeper may be an issue. The place is on the first floor and very quaint. Recommend highly

November getaway

Paul was there to meet us for check in and take us around the apartment. You can tell there is a lot of care put into the place, and he just finished treating floors before we arrived. Very clean. Bathroom drain was slow to drain water after showers, but everything worked well. Fantastic location for touring the city.

Fine apartment in great area

This little apartment perfectly suited my needs, considering that I was by myself. It could be a bit tight for a couple, but certainly doable. It was clean and neat, as described, and had all the appliances I needed. There were some supplies (laundry detergent, toilet paper) that I needed and after I called Paul, he was there in 15 minutes. He's very responsive and accommodating. The loft bed requires using the ladder, which was no issue for me, but might pose a problem for an older person (especially if they need to go to the bathroom in the middle off the night). The window faces a club across the street which has about 100 people outside on any given night, so naturally there is the noise of crowd talk. On the other hand, the windows muffle the noise very well. It wasn't enough to bother me, but light sleepers might want to consider that. I loved that it was a nicely renovated apartment in an old, funky building. Lastly, I found the location to be fabulous. Lots of cafes, restaurants, and shops within a 5-minute walking radius, and just a short walk to the Seine. There's a nearby Metro stop (Hotel de Ville) with access to Paris' fabulous metro train system that will take you wherever you want to go in the city. Highly recommended for the right traveler.

Nice but noisy

A very clean renovation small apartment with a low ceiling sleeping loft. The bearer and joists are massive oak timbers hundreds of years old. It’s in a great location in the Marais: walking distance to many places of interest. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Unfortunately thete is a bar opposite where up to a hundred men congregate and chatter till 2 o’clock in the morning .this apartment would only suit heavy sleepers or night owls.

Great location!

Loved the location, easy access to transportation and lots of walkable restaurants and sites of Paris. Paul communicated quickly for both check in and out.
