This is a large private villa that has been furbished to very high standards. It is ideal for both couples and families. A great mix of indoor and outdoor living is achieved with a spacious veranda and separate balcony that give stunning sea views and spectacular mountain landscapes. Sit and dine al fresco and watch the stunning evening sunsets. Pop downstairs to the Orchard and pick your own array of tropical fruit. Alternatively while away the evenings playing pool, table tennis, darts in the large games room .The golden sandy beach at Calheta is 2 minutes drive away by car.

Quiet location with stunning ocean views

Well kept spacious property with stunning ocean views . Close to supermarkets . Owner was very helpful with regards to location advice on the area and the booking process was seamless. Will definately stay there again

Amazing view in a quite neighborhood

Very nice week in a quite neighborhood. The view from the terrace and the living room is incredible. The house is half an hour drive from Funchal and many famous trails.

Wonderful place, amazing views

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Cades. It is beautifully located in a very calm neighbourhood, very spacious, tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed the various places outside, allowing you to sunbath or retreat in the shade, if you prefer. If there's anything at all - a few spots (bathroom ceiling, curtains in utility room) might need a little makeup (due to the humid climate), but that's complaining on a veryhigh level. Ok, and a better illumination in the dining corner would be nice, but that's it. The place was just perfect for us, we will definitely come back one day and can highly recommend to anyone.

Perfekte Unterkunft für eine entspannte Auszeit auf Madeira

Lage & Umgebung:Die Unterkunft befindet sich auf der Sonnenseite Madeiras, in einer ruhigen Hanglage mit wunderschönem Blick auf das Meer. Der Flughafen ist etwa 50 Kilometer entfernt und in rund 45 Minuten mit dem Auto bequem zu erreichen. Eine gute und schnelle Anbindung an die Hauptverkehrsstraße sorgt für einfache Mobilität. In der näheren Umgebung finden sich kleinere Supermärkte, eine Apotheke etc. (alles was für den tgl. Bedarf benötigt wird) - während ein größerer Pingo Doce im Nachbarort Calheta bis 22 Uhr zur Verfügung steht. Werktags kann es gelegentlich zu leichten Geräuschen von umliegenden Baustellen kommen, die jedoch kaum störend wirken.Ausstattung:Die Unterkunft ist wie beschrieben ausgestattet und lässt keine Wünsche offen.Kommunikation mit Ian:Die Kommunikation mit Ian war durchweg freundlich und sehr schnell. Bereits vor der Anreise wurden umfangreiche Informationen bereitgestellt. Nach Absprache und je nach Verfügbarkeit war sogar ein großzügiger, spontaner Late-Check-out möglich – ein tolles Extra!Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wie zu Hause gefühlt. Besonders angenehm: Man konnte sich aussuchen, in welchem Zimmer man schlafen möchte – ein echtes Plus an Flexibilität.

Ein schönes Haus für Ruhe und Erholung

Wir waren zu zweit in der schönen CasaCades und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Die ruhige Lage und der Ausblick auf Insel und Meer sind beeindruckend. Das Grundstück verfügt über eine schöne und reichhaltige Pflanzenwelt. Das Haus ist zwar etwas 'in die Jahre' gekommen, bietet alles für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt. Die Kommunikation mit Ian war bereits im Vorfeld sehr freundlich und verbindlich. Vor Ort stand Gilberto, auch persönlich, zur Verfügung. Wer Ruhe und Erholung außerhalb des Touristentrubels sucht, dem ist die Villa sehr zu empfehlen! Ein Mietwagen wird benötigt, wenn man die Insel unabhängig erkunden möchte.

Toujours le même plaisir dans cette maison suspendue au-dessus de l’océan

C’est le troisième décembre dans cette superbe maison, et déjà nous sommes dans l’attente du décembre de l’an prochain. La maison surplombe l’océan. Depuis la terrasse, ou depuis l’intérieur, séjour et chambres, le regard est attiré vers l’horizon, ciel et océan confondus. C’est comme un voyage empli de quiétude et de facilité. Tout est moderne, fonctionnel et ordonné, qu’il s’agisse de la cuisine et des différentes pièces, le décor est sobre et élégant. L’emplacement est calme, à l’écart de toute circulation dans un quartier aux belles et vastes maisons, mais il suffit de quelques minutes pour rejoindre les commerces (Pingo Doce à Calheta, un petit supermarché avec pains du matin au bout de la rue), la voie rapide, les restaurants (Bago succulent et original, Mara simple et agréable, et beaucoup d’autres), les levadas, Paúl da Serra, Ribeira Brava. Tout est proche, et le soleil est presque tous les jours au rendez-vous de ce côté-ci de l’île. La place pour la voiture est facile, et couverte. Quant aux relations avec les personnes, Ian est attentionné et veille à ce que tout se déroule bien, sur place Yvonne s’occupe de tout et est disponible pour toute nécessité. Terriblement hâte de décembre 2025.

Spacieuse, lumineuse, ouverte sur l’océan

C’est notre maison du mois de décembre pour la deuxième année de suite, avec le sentiment d’être comme chez nous, mais face à l’océan et l’amplitude du ciel, que nous n’avons pas dans la région parisienne. Les chambres sont spacieuses, les salles de bain agréables, mais ce qui nous comble c’est le grand salon-séjour avec sa baie vitrée en arc de cercle donnant sur l’océan et c’est une grande cuisine avec tout le nécessaire pour les repas, pour nous le petit déjeuner, avec ce magnifique grille-pain pour quatre tranches. Belle et grande terrasse, et un jardin en contre-bas, emplis de soleil, que nous utilisons peu, étant le plus souvent le long des levadas. Les échanges avec Ian qui n’habite pas sur l’île sont simples et agréables, au moindre mail il répond quasi instantanément, sur place nous savons qu’il y a Rose et son mari prêts à intervenir s’il y avait le moindre problème. C’est notre petit palais du mois de décembre, que nous retrouverons avec plaisir l’an prochain si c’est possible.

Schönes Haus mit einige Einschränkungen

Das Ferienhaus hat eine schöne Lage und man hat einen tollen Blick aufs Meer. Auch ist die Ausstattung umfangreich, aber teilweise schon sehr abgenutzt und müsste ausgetauscht oder überarbeitet werden. Dieses Jahr gab es sehr viele Mücken auf Madeira und es wäre gut, wenn die Fenster und Türen mit Fliegengitter ausgestattet wären.

une maison calme et spacieuse au-dessus de l'océan

C'est une maison qui donne envie de s'y installer pour toujours une fois qu'on y est entrés. Elle se trouve dans un quartier calme, et est d'un accès facile, avec une aire de stationnement pour deux ou trois voitures. Une fois la porte franchie tout est ordonné de façon claire et agréable, les pièces sont amples et lumineuses (trois chambres en allant vers la gauche, et, en face, la grande cuisine super équipée où il est facile de s'installer pour manger, suivie d'un grand salon-séjour, à quoi s'ajoute la partie buanderie dans une autre direction). Outre les pièces amples, aux décors simples et élégants, ce qui saisit d'emblée c'est l'immensité de la vue sur l'océan, dès la porte franchie, et ensuite une fois sur le balcon, également vaste et bien aménagé. Nous y avons passé près de dix jours, et avons eu de la peine à devoir partir, comme si nous quittions une maison faite pour nous. Le lien avec Ian, le propriétaire, comme avec Rose, la personne en charge du logement, ont été agréables et faciles, marquant un grand souci que tout se déroule parfaitement pour nous. Ce vraiment fut le cas, merci à Ian pour ainsi partager avec des étrangers cette superbe demeure.

Incroyable !!!!

Quelle douceur de vivre !!!! Cette résidence est charmante et bien située au sud de Madère où il fait toujours beau et loin de l'agitation de Funchal. Le calme, la sérénité et le bien être prédominent dans cette maison face à l'océan. Tous les ingrédients sont réunis pour passer d'excellentes vacances entre mer et montagne. La communication avec Yann est excellente et très cordiale. Alors n'attendez plus, réservez !!!!!

Un vrai Havre de paix.

Très agréable séjour dans cette très jolie maison, dans laquelle on se sent bien et qui laisse place à la détente avec une très jolie vue sur l'océan. Les chambres et la literie sont très confortable. Tout est là pour passer un très bon séjour. Merci aussi à Ian (et Rose), avec qui les échanges on était rapide, clair et cordiaux, et qui à facilité notre arrivée tardive. Calheta est bien située pour visiter toute la partie Ouest de l'île et bénéficie d'un avantage certain avec la météo car elle est au sud de l'île et donc moins exposé aux nuages. Vous pouvez donc y aller les yeux fermés.

Ruhe und Erholung im sonnigen Westen

Wir waren im März eine Woche zu fünft in dem Ferienhaus und es hat uns sehr gefallen! Besonders ansprechend ist die schöne Terrasse mit Hängematte und Meerblick. Man hat von morgens bis abends Sonne. Und für Schlechtwettertage gibt es einen Billardtisch, Netflix und eine X-Box (haben wir nicht genutzt). Das Haus ist ruhig und ein idealer Standort für die Erkundung insbesondere des Inselwestens. Der Kontakt im Vorfeld ist freundlich, hilfreich und detailliert. Die Einrichtung ist hie und da etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber ausreichend. Das Geschirr war teilweise unzureichend gereinigt, aber dies ist natürlich eher den Vormietern als den Vermietern anzulasten. Wichtig zu wissen ist, dass man (außer Zucker und Salz) alles mitbringen muss, es gibt in der Küche weder Gewürze, Teebeutel, Kaffee, Schwamm, Geschirrspültabs etc. Auch kein Welcome-Pack mit Wasser o.ä. Also am besten auf dem Weg vom Flughafen zur Unterkunft direkt erstmal einkaufen gehen. Wir haben uns gut erholt und würden diese Unterkunft wieder buchen.

Wunderbarer Urlaub in einem sehr schönen Haus

Wir waren rundum zufrieden mit unserer Ferienunterkunft: Die Kummunikation mit dem vermieter ist sehr angenehm gewesen, das Haus entsprach der Beschreibung, lediglich die Terasse ist noch schöner als es auf den Bildern erscheint - ein Traum, da die Aussicht grandios ist und man den ganzen Tag die Sonne genießen kann. Platz und Luxus mit Meerblick

Wenn man die beengten Parkmöglichkeiten auf der Insel kennt, ist schon der große Hof des Hauses mit Carport der erste positive Eindruck. Im Haus geht das Platzangebot weiter. 3 Schlafzimmer, 2 Bäder und eine sehr große Küche mit allen Geräten, die das Leben angenehm machen. Die Terrasse mit Meerblick und Hängematte vermitteln das echte Urlaubsgefühl. Dass noch ein Billardtisch und ein Dartspiel zur Ausstattung gehören, komplettieren den guten Eindruck noch. Séjour à Madère

Excellent séjour à Madère ! Location très sympa, maison spacieuse avec de nombreux équipements. Communications régulières avec le propriétaire Ian. Très prévenant et à l'écoute, il a su répondre à tous nos besoins. Super vue, rapport qualité/prix, emplacement sont les principaux atouts de cette location. On a été ravi par notre séjour. A recommander absolument !

Maison très bien située mais défraîchie

La vue sur la mer est très agréable. La terrasse permet des petits déjeuners pour profiter des levers de soleil. La maison est spacieuse et bien équipée. La salle de jeux est très appréciable pour les enfants. Cependant, de nombreux équipements sont vétustes (matelas creusés, portes de douche qui ne ferment plus, fenêtres qui s’ajustent mal, ...), les produits de base sont manquants (produits d’entretien, huile, vinaigre, sucre). Le jardin est mal entretenu. La propriétaire a été informée de tous ces points négatifs et et compte faire le nécessaire quand elle viendra sur place.
