Villa Sea Colors, sun, pool and sea view

Do you need to taking a break in your routine? Turn off the madness of your daily life and enjoy good days of rest in our company.

This beautiful house is located 15 minutes by car from the center of Calheta, more precisely in the upper area of the municipality; where the stunning sea view and the beautiful sunshine delight our visitors.

The view to the immensity of the ocean, together with the swimming pool, give the character and personality to this pleasant cottage, which has at its disposal: two bedrooms, one with double bed another twin bed; two bathrooms; a living room with plenty of natural light and access to the balcony; a mezzanine and a fully equipped kitchen.

In addition to the outdoor pool, you can take advantage of the leisure time to play ping-pong or improve your darts skills. To gather friends or family, the house has a barbecue area, which will brighten your favorite dishes.

In this area of the island you will find various activities, from guided walks or diving in the crystal clear waters of the village of Calheta.

The property has all the necessary amenities. There is also a private parking place inside the property.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
Situated in the west, this house is in the most sun exposed area of the Island of Madeira.

About 15 minutes drive away is the center of Calheta where you will find the yellow sand beach, several restaurants and a supermarket.

Calheta has the Museum of Contemporary Art, a fantastic architectural masterpiece.

Jardim do Mar and Paúl do Mar are a 20-minute drive away. These two small villages offer beach, animation and a very own beauty.

Closer of the you will find small bars/restaurants and grocery stores.

GETTING AROUND
We recommend the private transfer service as the best option to get to the house. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi by your own in the airport!

OTHER OBSERVATIONS

● According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (E.g. passport, identity card).

● Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.

● All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, a baby high chair and a baby bathtub if needed. First aid kit, fire extinguisher and fire blanket are available in all properties.

● Cleaning services during the stay, as well as the replacement of bed linen, towels, and consumables, are carried out on a weekly basis. If you wish extra cleaning service this can be arrange at an extra, affordable charge. The weekly cleaning and the replacement of bed linen, towels, and consumables will not be carried out for stays of less than seven nights.

Great Stay!

We loved the accommodation. It was very spacious, clean and comfy. It wouldve been better to mention that the pool heating costs 40 per day though. That would be our only critic. Everything else was absolutely perfect. Kitchen was very well equipped, beds were comfortable and clean, the view was gorgeous. The Smart TV was fantastic. We also liked that the property was private and fenced in so we didn't have to worry about our rental car. We would definetely visit again.

Wonderful and peaceful !

Google maps easily took us to the villa where we were warmly welcomed by the host. The villa has everything you might dream of : very spacious, spotless clean, comfortable beds, wonderful views over the village and the ocean, great sunset, refreshing pool. The five-star kitchen has all equipment and well beyond. Various furniture is provided in the garden to relax and enjoy the views. The environment is extremely quiet and we enjoyed evening walks up the mountain, along the levadas or around the village. On foot it is just down the street to the local snack-bar for some tasty food and have a poncha (drink) at the Ponchada. The locals are lovely ! As the house is up a steep hill, you need a car to reach the little supermarket that provides basics, meat, bread and simple take-away food, just a few minutes away. A 10-minute drive to Calheta's marina offers everything from restaurants to a big supermarket. The house is about 50 minutes away from the airport, an easy drive on highways and into numerous tunnels. We loved staying away from the tourist spots yet close to the highways to visit the island. The hosts were very helpful and reactive (but we haven't needed their help much as everything had been explained so well when we arrived). Discovering the island all day can get tiring and we were happy to drive back to the peace of the house around 4 or 5 pm to relax and unwind. It really is a lovely place to stay and we would definitely go back to Villa Sea Colors if we visit Madeira again.

Traumhaft!

Wir wurden super herzlich von André empfangen. Von der ersten Sekunde haben wir uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und hat eine super Lage. André hatte uns zudem auch gute Tips zukommen lassen, was wir während unseres Aufenthalts unternehmen können, da zu unserem Zeitpunkt ein kleiner Sturm herrschte. Wir werden auf jeden Fall nochmals kommen! Vielen Dank nochmal für alles!

Adorámos a casa! Tem tudo o que é preciso, nomeadamente berço, cadeira da papa, carrinho e banheira de bebé. É muito confortável a casa e fica quentinha muito rapidamente! Vista simplesmente espectacular... Sempre que precisávamos de algo tínhamos resposta imediata. Até uma próxima! :)

Great place

This villa is really an excellent rent. OK, the picture with the pool is extremely well taken - in fact it is a bit squeezed into a corner with a big wall behind it. But there are two locations with a pair of long chairs for sun bathing and there is a third place with a small table and two "sun chairs". The kitchen is very well equipped - toaster, very good microwave, American style refrigerator/freezer (with ice cube dispenser!), coffee machine - you name it. Just hope for good weather - we did, but it didn't work. And remember, you are an elevated altitude, probable 500-600m.

Villa mit traumhaften Ausblick über das Meer

Wir waren mit unserer gebuchten Villa wirklich sehr zufrieden. Die Gastgeberin begrüßte uns sehr herzlich und wir fühlten uns sofort gut aufgehoben. Über die Köstlichkeiten von Madeira haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es war alles vorhanden, was man für einen Urlaub benötigt. Die Lage ist einfach nur traumhaft - man hat einen unbeschreiblich schönen Blick auf das Meer. Schade, dass der Pool meistens eher im Schatten liegt. Als Erfrischung aber trotzdem sehr gut geeignet. Es war im Oktober dann doch an den meisten Abenden sehr kalt, weshalb wir öfter mal den Ofen angeheizt haben. Das funktioniert sehr unkompliziert. Wir danken Margarida sehr für den schönen Aufenthalt!

A wonderful and relaxing holiday!

We stayed in the villa at the end of August and had a fantastic time. The weather was wonderful and the outdoor space was great for sunbathing, relaxing, swimming in the pool or having a barbecue. There’s also lots of space in the shade too if you want to relax outside but not be in the glare of the sun. The views from the balcony / terrace are incredible and we ate each evening meal out there and watched the sun set! Inside everything is clean and well equipped, and our host, Margarida was kind, helpful and quick to respond if we had a question. We can’t wait to go back!

Tolles Haus mit traumhaften Blick auf den Ozean

Reisezeit November 2019 wir waren zu viert in dem Haus und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Betreuung vor Ort war sehr gut und herzlich, trotz Sprachproblemen. Es wurde uns immer geholfen, wenn etwas fehlte.
