Tastefully decorated 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath Ski-On Ski-Off Condo at Sunrise.
KILLINGTON'S FINEST SLOPE-SIDE COMMUNITY!
3 bedroom 2 bathroom ski-on/ski-off condominium for rent on Sunrise Mountain in Killington, Vermont. Indulge yourself and your family this year with a memorable vacation in the heart of the Green Mountains. Killington is a natural paradise all year round; during the winter, it is one of the world's largest and most diverse ski areas with 73 miles of trails dedicated to downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. In the spring, when the snow melts, Killington transforms into the home of two PGA golf courses, and spectacular hiking and biking trails through Northern sections of the Appalachian Trail. There are summer festivals, motorized mountain tours, sky rides, zip-lining, ropes climbing, fishing, kayaking, and more. Autumn visitors will be able to enjoy the many fall festivals that enliven the area with arts and crafts, family activities, and hearty local fare.
This condo end unit features a comfortable family room with a wood burning fireplace and vaulted ceiling, a large flat screen TV with a DVD player, a fully-equipped kitchen; washer, dryer, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Sleeping arrangements include one bedroom with a king sized bed, a second bedroom with a queen sized bed, and a third bedroom with a set of bunk beds with a pull-out trundle and a single twin bed, sleeping eight. Linens and towels are provided.
Luxury association amenities include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, steam room, sauna, fully equipped fitness center and an on-site restaurant (winter only). Firewood is complementary.
From your front door, in winter of course, you can ski through and onto the trail that takes you down to the Sunrise Triple Chair Lift. Once on the mountain, you can access any of the many trails Killington has to offer. Just as easily, you can ski straight home from the Sundog Trail. There is no worrying about parking or hauling your ski gear, a plus if you've ever skied with the little ones. In addition, the Sunrise Triple Chair lift does not require a lift ticket. It’s perfect for beginners to practice skiing down a green beginner level ski trail.
If you do not downhill ski or snowboard, or simply need a day off from the Mountain, Sunrise Mountain Village also offers complementary activities such as snowshoeing and cross country skiing. There is also a small ice skating pond to enjoy.
Seasonal rates vary. Daily rates range anywhere between $200 and $750 per night, and weekly standard rates from anywhere between $1,200 and $4,900 depending on the time of year.
The required 10% Vermont and Killington rooms tax is included in the quoted rate. Higher price ranges reflect Christmas, New Year's, President's Day & Martin Luther King weekends, and are competitive with comparable properties. Rates are negotiable select weeks.
2016 NOTE to LATE SEASON SKIER's: The Sunrise Triple Chairlift will not be in operation from Monday, April 6th through Friday, April 10th. It will re-open again on Saturday, April 11th for the Bear Mountain Mogul Challenge. It is not yet known if the Chairlift will be operating on Sunday, April 12th.
Bear Mountain is less than a one mile drive from our Condo; as long as Bear Mountain is open, you will be able to drive and ski that location, as well as the others that remain open this far into the ski season. Superstar, on Skye Peak, and many of the surrounding trails, are expected to remain open well into May.
Additionally, the Sunrise Cafe will close on Saturday, April 4th (last dinner served). However, the Sports Center and Falls Brook Common building including the fitness center, indoor pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna will remain open daily from 8 am to 9 pm through Sunday, April 12th. It will be closed for spring cleaning Sunday and re-open again on Monday, April 13th, with revised operating hours weekdays, from Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Just as advertised
Our family of four stayed for 3 nights, and had a great time. The condo was just as represented. Met our needs perfectly. Clean and tidy. Weather and ski conditions were variable, but the condo owners have no control over that! We did manage to ski in and out two out of our three days, by simply walking to the end of the parking lot to the Sun Dog trail.
Great location, comfortable but tired.
The strength of this unit is its location. You can truly ski onto the trail and off of the trail with no polling assuming there’s snow. When we visited in February there was plenty of snow so again that part was great.
The unit itself is laid out well enough. There were five of us and we were very comfortable there. Great dining room location lots of windows to see out and even has a small deck off the living room which I suppose you can smoke from although none of us smoke.
Be forewarned, however, that the place is very very tired and badly in need of some TLC. This place must of been magnificent when it was new. If you don’t mind the wear and tear, I.E. burn marks in carpets , Kitchen cabinets that don’t close, cracks in walls and mold on the inside of the shower curtain, burned out light bulbs in 2 lamp fixtures, a remote control with no batteries and a jerry-rigged coffee maker then take his place based on its location and layout. It also has a great working fireplace, good heating system and well working kitchen appliances, washer/dryer, etc.
We would like to thank you and your guests again for staying at our true ski on and off mountainside condo in Killington, but we definitely disagree on several of your points stated in your review. Your review of three stars is the only non-5 star review we have received. Our guests that stayed immediately before and after you have given our condo a 5-star review. In fact, we have had thirty-five, 5-star reviews, since purchasing this condo in 2014.
The condo was built in 1984 and while it retains the original Kitchen and bathrooms many updates have been made including new windows and skylights, new bedroom furnishings including all new mattresses, linens and décor. The condo is exactly as described and shown in photos on VRBO's website.
Mold: We have not had any mention of mold before or after your stay. After reading the review we sent out our cleaner to check the issue and replace the shower curtain if needed.
Light bulbs and TV remote batteries: New batteries and light bulbs have been replaced. We are sorry for any inconvenience this caused, but if you reached out to us, we would have instructed you on where and how to access our backup supplies.
Carpet and Cracks: Yes, there are two small marks due to embers that have hit the carpet from our fireplace. Unfortunately, a guest built a fire and did not shut the metal mesh curtain allowing them to escape the fireplace hitting the carpet. These marks are covered by a very nice fire proof throw rug protecting the rest of the carpet in front of the fireplace.
Coffee Maker: This is a puzzling one, since I personally used the coffee maker recently. The only thing I can think of is a previous guest must have brought their own coffee maker up and mistakenly taken the wrong pot home with them. We were made aware of this issue, by the following guest and we had a new coffee maker delivered over night to them for their morning coffee.
We personally strive to make each guest's, stay the best we can. While we are truly sorry you had some issues, we could have solved many of them quickly if contacted. The one thing we can agree upon is our condo's perfect location and the beauty of its surroundings. We absolutely love it.
To the future guest: We ask you to consider how we could have assisted Andre with his issues, if contacted and ask you to read our other thirty-five, 5-star reviews to get a better feel of who we are and what our condo has to offer

Great house! Great host!
For my wife and my three children it was a great house. Since we were spending Thanksgiving there having a full and very well equipped kitchen was wonderful! We would definitely stay there again!
