Con su piscina infinita encaramada sobre una vista impresionante del azul mar Caribe, esta villa de diseño interior de nueva construcción ofrece el refugio perfecto para vacaciones.

Ubicada en una urbanización segura, privada y cerrada y rodeada de exuberantes jardines tropicales, la casa con aire acondicionado ofrece 4 amplias habitaciones con baño, amplias salas de estar y generosas terrazas que conducen directamente al mar. La gran cocina ofrece comedor interior y también hay maravillosos restaurantes al aire libre bajo una pérgola cubierta.

La casa está ubicada en el lado favorito de la isla al atardecer y está muy convenientemente ubicada para playas (5 minutos en auto), restaurantes (a poca distancia) y tiendas (10 minutos). El aeropuerto también está a solo 10 minutos en coche.

La casa es perfecta tanto para parejas como para familias y viene con wifi gratuito, música inalámbrica Bluetooth, satélite y Apple TV.

Awesome Stay

We travel to a lot of rental homes, and this was one of the nicest. Liz is an incredibly gracious host, and Maudrina was truly special keeping us in order but not being intrusive. The house and view were amazing, the air conditioning was top notch for an island stay, and although there wasn’t a beach the pool (which we heated) was awesome. It was a spectacular stay.

Ocean House is the perfect property to rent for a family holiday in Antigua. The villa and outside areas are immaculate, the view is sensational, and the direct access to the sea is a real bonus. Our kids loved every second but in particular swimming in the the infinity pool. Liz is a wonderful host, so helpful and insightful, and the housekeeper Maudrina kept the villa clean and tidy throughout (and she's a lovely lady too!) This is a genuine 5 star property, I cannot fault it! We will be back!

Tranquil paradise villa

This is without doubt the best villa we have ever stayed in with the most amazing views. The villa itself is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need. The pool and outside spaces are incredible, we would recommend sundowners on the dock to take in the incredible views. Liz is a brilliant host and everything she arranged for us was perfect, from Catch the Cat, Fenella the private chef and arranging day passes to Hodges Bay on Boxing Day when the whole Island was incredibly busy! Maudrina looked after us so well and is so kind and welcoming, her cooking is amazing and we miss her already! We are so grateful to have spent our time here making unforgettable memories and cannot thank Liz and Maudrina enough!

Needs some TLC

We came for a week over Christmas with 8 of our family. The pros of this place are the location, pool and dock. The negatives far outweighed the postive. We own a VRBO and are not “fancy” people. The decor is straight out of the 70s and 80s. There are broken tiles in the bathroom, broken hooks on the doors, the shower head and handle are both loose. The alarm system is ridiculous. I understand it is city code but the one going out to the patio had a bad connection or something. I asked the owners to disconnect while there and basically got a dismissive “you’ll get used to it.” Also, you are required to do laundry before you leave and essentially clean all pots, pans and clean the kitchen. With our VRBO we have a cleaning person come in and clean. We don’t ask the people renting to do it! My husband booked this and printed off the “welcome packet” that read like a 50 page manual and we should have known then. Steer clear of this place.

Book The Ocean House Now. Unforgettable!

We recently returned from an unforgettable stay at this oceanfront villa, and we can't say enough about the incredible experience we had. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were captivated by the breathtaking views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea, the luxurious accommodations, and the warm hospitality. The villa was immaculate and exceeded our expectations in every way. The spacious living areas, bedrooms, and stunning outdoor spaces were perfect for our family of six. The pool was a refreshing oasis, and the decks and dock provided ample space for relaxing, sunbathing, and enjoying the ocean views. What truly set this villa apart was the exceptional service provided by Maudrina and Liz. Maudrina not only kept the villa spotless, but her culinary skills were nothing short of amazing. Have her cook for you, you will not be disappointed. Liz was very responsive and went above and beyond to assist us with restaurants, taxis, and any requests we had both before we arrived and while there. The villa is close to a variety of activities and amenities. We were just a short drive from beaches, historical sites and restaurants. Additionally, the proximity to an excellent grocery store made it easy to stock up on fresh provisions. Overall, our stay was a dream come true. The luxurious accommodations, impeccable service, and breathtaking surroundings made it the perfect destination for our family. We are already planning our return trip!

Pretty house but overpriced, poorly managed and suboptimal location

Bottom line - though the house and views are very nice, this is not worth the money. Bad location, terrible property management. Look elsewhere. First, the positives. The house is well decorated, the pool is nice, and dock and views are great. The kitchen is well-stocked to cook for large families. There is a good gym nearby (anatomy fitness). The negatives: - Neighborhood is sketchy. While there is a hotel down the road, the neighborhood is mixed and there is literally a junkyard surrounded by barbed wire on the corner. - Location - it is a harrowing 30-60 minute drive to all activities and most restaurants. Nothing is easy. - Groceries - we paid for kitchen to be stocked. We arrived to rotten produce, frozen meat, and stale bread. Turns out manager shopped days earlier and kept our food in her kitchen (yuck). - Laundry. THERE IS NO DRYER! The washer leaves clothes with lint and sand on them, and clothes need to be hung up on a clothesline! With intermittent showers, towels essentially never fully dry. - Security - the property manager gave us an alarm with a panic button on the first day. Later admitted it was nonfunctional - "decommissioned because guests misused it". Did not feel safe. - Lastly, the property manager, months after we booked the house and our flights. told us they made an error on another site and forced us to change our dates (and flights). Antigua is a gorgeous place -- but find another house!

This review is unreasonable and totally unjustified. As you can see from the Ocean House reviews, we have had nothing but 5 stars from every other person who has stayed at the house. We go out of our way to do everything we can to make sure our guests have the best time as is clearly evidenced by our reviews and the visitors book in the house. Jean and her family arrived in the house completely over tired and stressed and arguing with each other. Nothing anyone could do was good enough for them. They seemed to not understand that they were staying on an island in the Caribbean where everything is not perfectly manicured like it is in New York where they live and you can't get everything by shouting and stamping your feet. Saying the "neighborhood is sketchy" is totally and utterly unreasonable. Antigua is a small idyllic Caribbean island which does not have the money or resources of America. The location of the house is in one of the top three most expensive locations for real estate on the island, right next to the 5 star hotel Blue Waters. It is a lovely spot, covered in verdant lush gardens, on the sea, in a private gated community. How is that "sketchy"? There is no junk yard anywhere near the house! Total nonsense. There are dozens of restaurants 10 mins from the house. Here is a list of some of the "first world" standard ones within 10 mins drive: Canvas, Dawns, Cecelia's, Casa Roots, Hodges Bay Club, Larder, Garden Grill, Ana's, Le Bistro, Gather's steakhouse; so saying everything is a 30+ min drive away is completely factually incorrect and nonsense. The house does not have a dryer (like every other house on the island) because it is always 27 degrees C / 80 degrees F in the day! Everything dries in less than an hour and much better and in a much more sustainable way outside on the line. It gets the wonderful air and smells fresh and nice (unlike a dryer). The house has an alarm and this works. According to my house manager Jean and her family just could not work out how to use it. The island is incredibly safe with almost no crime so it beggars belief how a resident of New York can say they did not feel "safe" in Antigua! It is farcical. Jean and her family we very unhappy people and impossible to please.

The property is in a great location, the furniture and the beds are very comfortable, The house is very clean and well organized. The view from the pool and the back deck is amazing and the house is in a great convenient location. Liz was extremely helpful in any of our requests and needs. She was more than happy to set up any reservations for us they even did a brief shopping trip for us prior to our arrival. Maudrina is fantastic, her cooking is delicious and she goes above and beyond to take great care of you. I highly recommend this property to anyone. I would like to let those of you know who care about air conditioning that the main living room and kitchen does not have an individual AC unit. However you are able to open the doors and windows and let the cool breezes come through. However there are times where this may be slightly uncomfortable to those who care about having a climate controlled environment. Overall her experience was fantastic and I couldn’t speak any higher of this property, thank you to Liz again and to Maudrina for all your

AMAZING HOLIDAY

We did a lot of research before choosing and booking The Ocean House and we definitely made the right decision! Liz was so helpful every step of the way and it was a pleasure to see Maudrina each day and learn different tips/history of the house and the island from her. Our family of 6 had a fabulous time and everyone loved The Ocean House. Pictures don’t do it justice and it has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. Communication with Liz before and during our trip was so quick and easy. She even came by at the end of our trip to say goodbye. Beautiful home perfect for families

We loved our Stay at the Ocean house! Liz the property manager was beyond helpful answering any and all questions. The house is beautiful with an amazing view and great layout for a family. Maudrina the housekeeper was a pleasure to be around as she is so sweet! The view is spectacular and we all loved the infinity pool. Antigua is gorgeous and everyone we encountered was so incredibly sincere and welcoming. We will definitely be back!!

What a wonderful holiday!

The Ocean House! It’s hard to put into words how wonderful the house and location are! Seeing really is believing. Wonderful sunsets, stunning views and just 20 steps to your own private jetty, with kayaks and paddle boards to allow you to travel to one (or more) of the numerous, small sandy beaches that dot the coastline and can only be accessed from the sea. The house is fabulously well appointed, with four en suite double bedrooms, a well appointed kitchen and stylish living area (with all the streaming services you or the family could want). The house is located near the end of a private road in a quite residential area, with the only noice coming from the birds chirping! The lovely Maudrina comes to the house every day to clean, tidy and generally check that everything is ok. You must also ask Maudrina to cook you a meal at some point during your stay, so you can enjoy her sumptuous Caribbean inspired cooking. The Ocean House is perfectly located to access the wonderful beaches and restaurants in the North of the Island (check out Dickinson bay and Casa Roots in particular), but because the island isn’t huge, you can easily get to English Harbour in the south within an hour. If you prefer to cook yourself then Epicurean is the place to shop. A mix of British, American and Caribbean brands and foods (Waitrose own brand pasta somewhat incongruously located beside American brands like La Croix and skinny Pop). Finally the holiday was made complete by the very considerate advice of Niki, Liz and Kat, who know the island like the back of their hand and helped cut corners when organising the car rental, taxis and restaurants. Just go ahead and book this property! The listing pictures are amazing and still don't do it justice! Liz is amazing. Made the process super easy! Maudrina took great care of us. I would agree with earlier reviewers who say that the photographs do not do justice to this villa, which is quite exceptional. Waking up in the morning to the view across the pool to the ocean was very special, and watching the New Year fireworks from the jetty was something I won’t forget in a hurry. Liz was extremely helpful, both before and after we arrived, dealing promptly with all our queries, organising car hire, dinner reservations etc and putting us in touch with Fenella the chef who cooked us a wonderful meal one evening. Her attention to detail is obvious in the way that everything in the villa is just right, and we were amazed to find not only a Xmas tree but a Real one! We used the gas bbq most days, and the more energetic among us loved swimming in the sea from the jetty, and kayaking to deserted beaches. We could easily have spent all our time at the villa, but enjoyed trips around the island, and would recommend Half Moon Beach with its wonderful little beach bar and no hotels nearby. English Harbour was also fun to visit, with Nelsons Dockyard, and we spent a brilliant Sunday evening at the Shirley Heights ‘shindig’ with live music, great jerk chicken and lethal rum punches! As well as the ‘Beach Bums’ beach bar at Half Moon beach, and Jacquie O’s for lunch we particularly enjoyed Sheer Rocks restaurant (they also do wonderful tapas at lunchtime) and the Cove at the Blue Waters hotel which is walking distance from the villa. Maudrina could not have been more helpful and kind, and kept the villa looking beautiful throughout our stay, as well as helping us with local information, and generally being a pleasure to have around! It was perfect for us, and we would love to return someday.

UNBELIEVABLE!!

This was one of the best trips that we have even been on. Words cannot truly describe how wonder Liz, Maudrina and her staff were with helping us plan the trip and during the trip. Anytime that I sent her a message and needed help with contacts, Liz answered right away and gave us the best suggestions on what to do while we were there. She even helped set them up for us. From the time that we walked into the front door of this beautiful house, we knew that we had picked the best one. The pictures are amazing but, truly don't do this house justice. And, to speak on how amazing Maudrina is would be an understatement. We left feeling like she was family to us. I HIGHLY recommend this rental and the ease of dealing with Liz. We will be back!!

Home was stunning. Views of sunset and constant view of vast seascape was tremendous.

I would stay there again and will tell my friends all about how fantastic it was to stay at the Ocean house. Mattresses and sheets made rest at end of day feel like heaven. Views were breath taking. Dock on property to jump into ocean so much fun. Owner and maid were so lovely and anxious to help with anything.

Ocean House

Stunning property. We all had a perfect stay and would definitely return. Thank you Maudrina for everything! House is immaculate with every convenience and was ideal for all ages...my group ranged from 12 to 84 years.

Best experience ever

We rented the Ocean House to attend a wedding in Antigua. We were completely overjoyed with our experience from beginning to end. Liz and Maudrina were angels. Everything was sparkling clean, well organized and ready for our visit. We had our young grandchild with us and they were very accommodating with a crib, highchair, and car seat. They bought groceries which were waiting for us upon arrival, and they had arranged to have a warm, delicious, home-cooked meal for us our first night - after a long day of travel. Perfection! The house is stunning, well-appointed, and suited for families with children. The pool is beyond gorgeous and we spent long hours each night soaking in the water, talking, laughing, and enjoying each other's company under the stars. I highly recommend this property. Liz and Maudrina were attentive to our every need. We would return in a heartbeat and were very sorry when we had to leave. It truly is paradise.

Beautiful

Antigua is beautiful and so is this house. It was well stocked, very clean and Liz and Maudrina were wonderful. We would definitely recommend this house. The view is incredible!

Amazing Villa!!

From the minute you walk in the front door, you are WOWed by the views. The pool faces west so you get the most spectacular sunset views. The house is very clean. The pool is spotless, kitchen and bathrooms are very well kept. The only thing I'd say about cleanliness is that the bed skirt in one of the rooms had brown splatter on it and the soap dispensers in the bathrooms were corroded so the soap smelled a bit off. There were also quite a bit of mosquitos in the house, but that can vary based on weather. The housekeeper, Maudrina, was the absolute best. We paid to have her make us breakfast throughout our stay and everything she made was delicious. We booked a private chef for part of our stay (Alison) and her food was AMAZING. 11/10! The location of the villa is very convenient—just minutes from beautiful beaches, grocery stores, and local restaurants. Some of the more high end restaurants like Sheer Rocks are across the island (45 min drive) but it's well worth the drive. We rented a car and had no issues getting around. Yes, they drive on the right side, and yes there are tons of potholes, but if you just take your time and drive carefully you'll have no issue. I would highly recommend renting a car as you get to see so much more of the island that way. We visited during the off season so some of the restaurants were closed, but we ate at Ana's on the Beach, Papa Zouk, and Sheer Rocks and would highly recommend all 3. DO NOT waste your money by eating at The Palms restaurant at the Blue Waters Resort next door. All in all, my group enjoyed our stay at the Ocean House and would recommend in a heartbeat!

Amazing Holiday!

There were 8 of us meeting in Antigua to celebrate a couple of big milestone birthdays and we had high expectations. I have to say that those expectations were far exceeded! Liz and her team were responsive, helpful and so welcoming. Maudrina made us the most amazing dinner and having some groceries purchased before arrival was an excellent idea (thanks Liz!) The house itself is one of those places that you just can't quite believe is real and the pool with ocean front views was a constant source of happiness! We ate many of our meals at home as we had a fully stocked kitchen and a brand new BBQ. The outdoor dining area was a highlight and the many lanterns with candles made it such a great atmosphere. This house was everything we hoped for and more and we're already trying to plan a trip back.

Home away from home.

This was by far the best vacation I have had. My family and I have been to other places in the Caribbean and loved them ; however Antigua and especially this particular house left us wanting for more. When we arrived, Roger the driver was there waiting for us and is so patient. We were 8 in total and he drove us wherever we needed to go, and always on time. Liz is the property manager and since I had booked the house since December, I have been communicating with her via email all the time and she always responded quickly and with all the details I needed. She made it so easy for us and when I finally met her on our vacation , what an amazing person. She is so humble and pleasant. Michelle was there to meet us as well and had helped also in the preparation of flying out to Antigua. Maudrina is amazing! She comes every day and it was always nice to see her lovely smile. She will be at the house for a few hours just helping us out with cleaning, laundry if needed and always make sure that we had a nice comfy bed to sleep in at night after the activities. The house is exactly if not better than what you see in the pictures. The infinity pool is to die for. We woke up every morning and sat down to just watch the beautiful sun and eat breakfast. It is so peaceful and no noise; just the birds singing. The house is kept clean and is so beautiful. Antigua is such a beautiful place. Trust Liz to tell you what you should do when you are in town and she will reserve them for you too. You should go to Shirley heights, Take the party boat around the Island with WADADLI CATS boat. They were amazing, and the food was so goood. So much and so much to do but we always went back to the house and felt at home. Thank you Liz, Michelle, Maudrina and Roger. Can’t wait to come back with the kids next time ❤️
