Newly Renovated (updated pictures to be added in March) Absolutely Beautiful Beachfront condo, third floor unit, overlooking the largest of three pools and overlooking the white sandy beaches. One bedroom unit one bath unit. Sleeps six. Queen size bed in bedroom, one queen sleeper sofa, and one full sleeper love seat. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to cook in if that is your desire. Grills are located at all three pool areas. The balcony is perfect to sit out in the early morning or late evening to enjoy the beautiful view. The sunset over the ocean is spectacular. Unit includes two flat screen cable TV, one in living area and the other in the bedroom. Free WiFi. Resort includes fitness center, tennis court, shuffle board, and three pools, which one is heated. Washer/dryer is located on the first floor. Close to all the good restaurants and attractions, including pier park. Has private gate to walk next door to Pineapple Wiley's.
No pets are allowed. Must be 25 years old to rent the condo and must physically stay art the condo during your vacation.

Why Owner chose Panama City Beach
We love the location of the Sunbird condominiums. Conveniently located to everything, such as, Walmart, restaurants, pier park, and all the wonderful attractions. Pineapple Willy's is right next door.

Unit was clean and ready on time!
We enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was clean and had all the necessary utensils. Bathroom was also impeccable and of a good size and plenty of towels. Bedroom was nice and clean as well.
Communication with the owner was enjoyable. She returned my calls and emails immediately which was deeply appreciated. Upon arrival, the owner emailed me all the information we needed in regard to the unit and surroundings- I loved that!
With that said, a few suggestions would be to perhaps:
-Replace the mattresses on each of the sleeper sofas. They were extremely uncomfortable to sleep in.
-Provide more substantial linens- made of cotton, perhaps. The ones there in the unit were paper thin almost. Not too big deal but it was quite cold when we arrived and the sheets didn’t help much at night. I would also add an additional comforter for the additional sleeper. (There are two sleepers. One is king, I believe and the other one a queen.)
- Add a can opener to the kitchen utensils.
Other than these suggestions our stay was quite lovely. We enjoyed the beach and it’s surroundings. We hope defined book again in the future.
The property is a decent place to stay for a small family or couple.
This is a decent place to rent but we did encounter problems that I hope the owner will better prepare for with her tenants. When we arrived at 4:30 in the afternoon the condo was not cleaned. There were dirty linens on the floor and obvious signs that it had been stayed in and uncleaned for our arrival time. This immediately grossed me out and kind of started things off with our stay in a negative direction. We had to call the property owner to get someone there to clean it. We left and returned after eating out to find the cleaners still there. Both the owner and the cleaner pointed fingers at each other as to why the place wasn't ready. I assume, in the haste to clean the place, they forgot to leave toilet paper and paper towels so after staying one day, we had to go purchase our own. I've never had these problems in the past in any place we've ever stayed. Otherwise, the place is acceptable for staying in and I guess things happen sometimes. The one thing renters need to know in advance when considering renting a place in this location is that you have to buy a parking permit for an additional $25 per vehicle and every person in your room has to purchase an armband. Those are expenses you need to be prepared for in advance.
Thank you for your response. Once again I apologize for the mishap with my condo not clean when you arrived. I have addressed this issue and now have a new cleaning person. Only ONE roll of paper towels and toilet paper is provided (which is indicated under house keeping notes). Also, in the house keeping notes is the information for the parking pass and wrist bands. This is also indicated in the rental agreement. And, once again, in the pre-arrival information that you receive prior to your arrival.
Very nice place to stay
We enjoyed our stay at The Sunbird. The owners were very nice and made sure we had all we needed. Would stay there again and recommend it to others.

Convenient, clean, and and cozy!
We had a great weekend at this unit. The owner was so pleasant to work with and handled any questions we had quickly. We traveled with 3 adults and a toddler and had plenty of room. The location is very nice. It is close to everything you need but the beach wasn't crowded in that area. Also with the complex being right next door to Pineapple Willys we walked over there for lunch and dinner several times. The pool is beautiful and never felt crowded. Would definitely rent again and recommend!
Decent condo, could use a lot of upgrades
The kitchen was not as well stocked as I expected. The condo was not that clean. The mattresses were okay. Not a good view of the beach and ocean, but a great view of the larger pool. The Sunbird condominium staff was pleasant and the on site security was a plus. Overall, for the price, we did enjoy our stay. I would recommend bringing a lot of extra towels, lots of change for the washer and dryer, it was a bit pricey. Keep in mind that if you plan on cooking, the kitchen did not have an adequate amount of dishes or cooking utensils. On the plus side, we had an ac, stove, fridge, and dishwasher that worked, and we were on the beach. We enjoyed our much needed vacation.

Our room was nice, and affordable. We enjoyed our stay and the location very much. Right next to pineapple Willy's and Walmart across the street. Sercurity on the property was a bonus! We will stay here again in the future.

Additional information about rental rates
Once you arrive on the property you must purchase a parking pass of approximately $25. Wrist bands must be purchased and worn at all times on the property. The cost of the bands are $3 per person over the age of 11. These items are purchased in the Home Owners Association Office located on the property in the middle of the 2 buildings beside the pool area.
