Paris 06 Quartier Latin: Rare. Quiet terrace in the Latin Quarter

Ideally located in the historical heart of Paris, a few meters from the Seine and St.Michel / Notre Dame, duplex apartment 4th and 5th floor. It is situated in a very quiet half pedestrian street, a few meters from the joyful and festive atmosphere of the Buci street with its coffee shops terraces, street concerts, etc....

After having passed the beautiful entrance hall with its stone walls (digicode), you will reach our apartment on the 4th floor. The entrance leads to the bedroom (160 cm wide bed) and its adjoining bathroom, separate toilet and a beautiful wooden staircase that takes you to the 5th and last floor where there is a living room (comfortable sofa bed) / dining room , an open kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, etc...) and a small flowery terrace of 10 m² with garden furniture. This configuration offers a welcome independence between the two beds. It offers a beautiful parisian renovation and decoration, comfort, beams, small flowered outdoors terrace, WIfi, a computer, TV and free phone to many countries.

Wonderful stay

Roseline was extremely helpful and accommodating. Her dining recommendations were perfect. Words cannot do justice to the perfect location. Yes, the steps can be a challenge for some, but a little extra exercise is a good thing. We highly recommend this wonderful property.

Paris Central Apartment

Apartment is in a great location and provides everything that is needed. Walking distance to the city centre and easy access to public transport for exploring further afield. Lots of Restaurants and Cafes close by and yet still quiet during the night. The photos and description are accurate and the host provided exceptional communication before and during our stay.

Cute apartment next to the Ile de la Cité

We had a wonderful time, the apartment is close to so many of Paris sights and restaurants that we have been able to walk to where we wanted to go. And the metro is very close too. It was so much fun to have a little home in the core of Paris. The owner is very friendly and a good communicator.

Spent 5 nights at roseline's lovely flat. Very convenient location and the pictures are an accurate reflection of the property. If you have mobility problems then the stairs need to be considered. We enjoyed the privacy and quiet of the top floor.

The location is spectacular and the apartment is very comfortable with everything we needed. It would not be suitable for people who have difficulty with stairs at it is on the 4th/5th floor.

Fantastic Location!

We could not have stayed at a better location in Paris! The Seine was a few steps from our place and we were in walking distance to all the great restaurants, Notre-Dame, museums, galleries, metro, etc. The three of us slept very comfortably on the pull out couch and the bed. We loved having our wine on the patio located off of the kitchen each evening before heading out for dinner. We will definitely try to stay here when we return in the future.

Perfect location and hideaway

This flat is wonderfully situated for walking everywhere. Nearby to metro, museums, and restaurants. Very comfortable, clean, and quiet, despite being in the heart of everything. Flat is exactly as pictured in photos. If you are at all infirm and cannot climb steps, please don’t attempt to stay here. We enjoyed the daily workout.

The apartment is so comfortable and has all you would need to live there; quiet neighborhood and is perfectly situated to everything you need. There are 70 steps to climb to reach the apartment so you get a workout so it is not for everyone

Great location, good amenities, easy access.

We had great communication with Roseline from the moment we booked her flat. Conscientious, helpful, she did everything she could to ease any concerns about finding the place. We were in Paris 4 days and felt we were in the middle of everything we wanted to see and do. Everyone talks about the hike up the stairs to her place - yes, it’s a bit of a haul., but certainly manageable. Great visit!

Charming apartment on the Left Bank

We had a very pleasant stay at Valérie’s apartment. The location was ideal - close to the buzz and restaurants on the Rue de Buci and a short walk from so many great sights like the Musée d’Orsay, the Orangerie, the Louvre and the Marais. Notre Dame is just across a nearby bridge. The place is small (at least for a family of four) but very charmingly decorated with a great deal of flair and good humour. It’s worth noting the four flights of stairs to get there! Overall, we had a very good time there.

Well Worth the Climb!

The apt looks just as it does in the photos. We only made breakfasts but the kitchen seemed reasonably well equipped.. The location is central in the 6th, a short walk to metro line 4. RERC and several buses. Communication with the owner was very good . It was very quiet for an apt in Paris located on a quiet street and being on the top Floor so no noise from above, We would have preferred cotton sheets snd better pillows, As others have mentioned it is a 72 step climb to the apt. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the apt

Perfect apartment in the center of everything.

We loved our stay at Rosaline’s! It truly is in the center of everything: 5 minute walk to Notre Dame and the metro station, minutes to numerous cafes, bistros, bakeries, and bars; yet very quiet. It was quite warm while we were in Paris, but even without a/c there are several fans available and plenty of windows that open to provide enough air movement that we didn’t have any trouble sleeping. Or two teenage daughters took over the living room with sleeper sofa, and my husband and I had our own space in the bedroom. The stairs are no joke, but they help burn off the daily croissants! We already miss Paris and would definitely stay at Rosaline’s again.

This was a great location

This property is just like the pictures show. It is not for the mobility impaired due to the stairs, but it's great if you don't have that problem. It's super close to Notre Dame, it's close to plenty of restaurants and a grocery store (Carrefour City). I wish it had been warmer while we were there because the patio would have been fantastic. The sleeper sofa was fine for our daughter. She said it was comfortable. I wish we'd had more time to spend exploring right around the flat because there were plenty of small streets to stroll down and discover. We did an evening Citroen tour that was just great. They picked us up at the front door and dropped us back. So much fun!

Fabulous apartment in fantastic area - highly recommended!

We had an amazing 10 nights in the apartment and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The neighbourhood is wonderful - very quiet but also in walking distance of unlimited food choices and major monuments. Access to Metro was awesome and great line for travelling around Paris. Whilst there is no air-conditioning, there are numerous fans provided and it was lovely to sleep with the windows open in the bedroom. It is very well insulated and even on the warmer nights we had, we were very comfortable with the fans. The terrace was brilliant and large by Paris standards. The lounge and dining area was lovely and the large windows gave us a beautiful sky vista with great breezes. Highly recommended or a long or short stay in Paris. The owner was away at the time and arranged for a local property manager to meet us and they were great and communication with the owner was excellent from the time we made our booking. Very grateful we booked this for our Paris stay and will definitely be back!

Great location, many stairs (as stated in listing), traditional layout. We weren’t able to enjoy the unit much as an extreme pParis heat wave made staying in it unbearable. Not a reflection on the unit or owner, just a climate change unfortunate reality. We used early mornings to see Paris and then just tried to get through heat - not really feasible to do things in afternoon or evening with heat and humidity. Would look forward to going back in “normal” weather and giving good rating as unit and owner deserve it and can’t be blame for Mother Nature. Host was very helpful and communicative.

Charming!

This is a charming flat in my favorite neighborhood in Paris. The RER/Metro station is a few blocks away, and there is an abundance of cafes, restaurants, bakeries nearby. There is also a Carrefour supermarket and organic produce market a few blocks away. The Louvre, Orsay, and Notre Dame are also close. The flat is as described, with a blend of new fixtures and appliances with some that are older...thus its charm. There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything that you need for cooking your own meals. There is also a wonderful balcony that you can enjoy on warmer days. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return. Roseline is a delightful hostess that enjoys meeting people, and cares about their stay in her flat. Communication was easy and met with prompt responses. Roseline is also a very talented artist! We feel very fortunate to have met her and stayed in her flat, and we look forward to the next time.

Perfect in every way.

Roseline’s apartment is lovely and quiet in the heart of the best neighborhood (in our opinion) in Paris. Four blocks from the St. Michel metro/RER. Spotlessly clean, and cozy on the cool days of April with a lovely terrace for the few warmer days we had. The photos give a very accurate picture of the flat. The apartment is four flights of stairs up, and is split level. The entry level has a bedroom with a comfortable bed, plenty of closet space and a bathroom with a shower/tub and sink (and heater). The WC (toilet and sink) is in the entryway. Then upstairs is the living room with a very comfortable sofa bed, adequate kitchen and the lovely terrace. Each space has a heater. There are lots of windows and cooing doves outside. We stayed for 10 days and will stay there again when we return if at all possible. This apartment is really a special place. Roseline came to meet us and she is lovely as well. A real person and artist. Someone we would have really enjoyed getting to know. Anyone renting from someone you don’t know has appreciations about what you will actually get. You don’t need to worry. This apartment is just as it appears in the photos and descriptions, plus the location is perfect and Roseline is delightful.

Cozy, French and near perfect!

We don't know what we liked better, the location or the flat. Both are great. First of all, Roseline was very attentive and responsive from the moment I booked. She always responded quickly to any questions I had, despite the time difference. She greeted us upon our arrival and gave us a rundown of the flat, making herself available for any future assistance we needed. Due to negligence on my part, I missed her emails checking in with us and setting up a meet for our departure. We hated that. She could not have been more friendly and personable. The flat itself is just how we pictured a parisienne flat. (check out the pics) It was perfect for my wife and I. Both the fold out bed and the regular bed were firm and comfortable. Shower was hot and strong, although with my being 6'1, it was a tad short, which I've grown used to in Europe, but it uses a hand held shower head, so it wasn't any type of problem. Roseline left a bunch of books on Paris on her bookshelves, which were nice to look through. My wife hurt her knee on our second day and was laid up for a day. There is not only a pharmacy 5-10 minutes walk away, but a medical supplies place one street from the pharmacy. That really helped for me tending to her unforeseen injury. There also are a couple of grocers nearby, which also is a great benefit. We travel quite a bit and this has been one of our favorite places to stay. Our only regret not being able to say goodbye to Roseline in person.

Super Lage, sehr zentral, sehr ruhig

Unser Aufenthalt war fantastisch. Die Kommunikation mit Roseline war sehr gut, sie war vor Ort, als wir kamen und konnte uns alles zeigen.Die Wohnung ist im 5. Stockwerk, es gibt keinen Aufzug, aber das wussten wir und das war auch überhaupt kein Problem, nur ganz am Anfang die Koffer hochzutragen, war anstrengend. Die Wohnung geht über 2 Stockwerke, unter ist Schlafzimmer, Badezimmer und Toilette, und oben der Wohnraum und die Kücke und im Anschluss ein kleiner Balkon, den wir aber wegen des kühlen Wetters nur wenig benutzten. Das Badezimmer und die Toilette waren schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles funktionierte einwandfrei. In der Küche war alles vorhanden, was man benötigte. Die Wohnung ist absolut ruhig, das ist äußerst angenehm. Sie befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe der Seine und des belebten um umtriebigen Quartier Latin. Alles ist vorhanden, Restaurants im Überfluss, kleine Läden, die Metrostation ist in weniger Minuten zu erreichen, und man kann fußläufig sehr viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und Museen und Galerien erreichen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Roselines Wohnung sehr genossen!!
