Lovely quiet area with bars, restaurants and an excellent small supermarket nearby and it felt very safe. The apartment which was spotlessly clean is a short walk south of the Colosseum and an even shorter bus ride. There is a bus stop two minutes from the apartment and buses run very regularly. We travelled all over the city on the buses and it was so easy. The apartment was very comfortable with lots of personal touches giving it a homely feel. The wifi was very good, air conditioning kept us cool at night, pod coffee machine made beautiful Italian coffee and the fridge chilled the Prosecco to perfection. The hosts Carlo and Alessandra could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. There was a welcome bottle of wine on the table and some delicious mini desserts which went down a treat with the coffee. Carlo had lots of info and advice to make our stay even more enjoyable and did a quick overview of the neighbourhood. There are lots of info regarding bus routes, places to visit, guide book etc on the unit in the apartment which was really helpful. We really felt lucky finding this lovely apartment for our first visit to Rome and who knows we may even come back here in the future.
The apartment was wonderful. Incredibly clean; well equipped, there want anything that we needed that want supplied. The neighborhood is excellent. Great restaurants. Most places are within walking distance, some close some a bit farther. A wonderful taste of Rome. Carlo and Alessandra are wonderful hosts!
The previous reviews are all true, excellent place and hosts.
All of the previous reviews are true. The hosts’, facility, and location are excellent! The hosts’ provide outstanding local and transit information with a short and quick walking tour with maps and recommendations. We ended up buying 72 hour bus passes but Uber is another optioning your not sure. We were out late a few times and felt comfortable on the bus and the local people were nice.
The neighborhood has lots of dining options within a 4 block radius from pizza by the slice (you pick the size), to a Michelin rated restaurant. There was a local plaza a block away and we loved seeing the families gathered with kids playing and having a good time. It is a solid neighborhood. The place is secured by locking gate, has a new lift, and the front door is secure. Inside is beautiful and well apportioned. All rooms were very clean. We didn’t use the heater but the AC was solid and the water heater was almost instant. The shower was like most European showers about 3x3 size it seems except that there was a cut out for the shower head and knobs, it makes a huge difference!
Loved this place and really appreciated the work and effort that is put in by Carlo and Alessandra.
Great modern property in a awesome neighborhood!
Great food and markets! Our hosts we super helpful and we we able to walk everywhere!
Perfect place to stay in the heart of Rome!
The property is beautiful and Carlo is so kind and helpful. Our train broke down on our way to the property, and we were 6 hours later than expected. Carlo met us (at 12:30 am) at the door and gave us a tour and showed us all of the information about the city. He provided bus information, multiple maps, and great restaurant suggestions. We also didn't have to worry about breakfast the next morning because he had a lovely selection from the bakery down the street ready for us in the fridge. The property itself is immaculate and has everything that you could need. The bed is very comfortable and all of the appliances worked perfectly. It is about a 15 minute walk to the Circus Maximus and about 20 minutes to the Colosseum. It is also located in a great area for restaurants that are not swarmed by tourists! Overall I would highly recommend that you stay here!
My husband and I stayed in this apartment for 4 nights. Carlo and his wife met us and walked us around the neighborhood showing us important things we may need during our stay.
The apartment was beautifully furnished with many personal touches. The storage was more than adequate with 2 closets. The bed was comfortable. The kitchenette could have used more than 2 water glasses and more than 1 serving bowl but that was offset by the bottle of wine, cookies and sweets left for us by the owners.
The residential area was safe and the bus stop was less than a block away. There was a nice supermarket several blocks away and enough casual and fine dining restaurants within walking distance.
We walked from Piazza Navona, through Campo de Fiori to the apartment one day and from Trastevere to the apartment another day. So, walking is an option.
We recommend this property!

It takes 20 minutes to reach us by train (FR1) from Fiumicino airport to Stazione Ostiense and about half an hour using Ryan Air bus Shuttle from Ciampino airport using ryan air bus shuttle and 'B' line to Piramide railway station.
