Great apartment

The apartment is a great place to stay if you want to explore Rome. The location is really nice with restaurants, a market and a park on your door step. Communication and booking was easy and the property was clean and as described.

Wonderful location and accommodation

We had a wonderful time at Lamberto's place in Travestere. He is a very kind and generous host, and spent some time with us having a lovely chat and telling us some of the history of the place and area. I would highly recommend this place. It is spacious, well equipped and very clean. It is also very central with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. It is walking distance to central Rome across the Ponte de Sisto. An excellent place,

Live like a local in Roma

Wonderful stay in my favorite apartment

This is a wonderful apartment and I have stayed here several times over the years. It is a very nice building and the accommodations are very comfortable. Everything is very clean and the kitchen is very handy and sufficient. The location is great including the Piazza outside and the coffee bar downstairs. The hosts are very easy to work with and very agreeable and helpful. I highly recommend this property.

Fabulous Find

Great apartment in a wonderful location. We appreciated the little extras the host provided (wine, tea, coffee, bread, milk and eggs). Everything was explained well on our arrival and any queries we had were responded to quickly. Would definitely recommend this apartment as a great place to stay.

Trastevere Treat

Loved our stay at Lamberto's. Great location to eat and drink out and enjoy the culture, but also good enough resources at the flat to cook/eat all meals in if required. Friendly, accommodating host. Would stay again.

The location was just fabulous and Lamberto was a wonderful host. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. A great way to finish our European adventure.

Lamberto is a fantastic host! Very friendly and provided us with all we needed for our stay. There are lots of grocery stores within walking distance in case you need anything else. We loved our stay in Trastevere. It felt very authentic and we felt like locals, which was exactly what we were looking for in our trip. To that end, it can get noisy outside especially at night since the neighborhood is very lively. Great thing the apartment has A/C and we were able to close the windows and still be comfortable. All in all, it was a great stay. We loved Trastevere and we will be booking with Lamberto again in the future!

Great apartment with everything you need located in a fun and lively neighborhood..

The owner Laberto, was easy to communicate with and provided extra breakfast items along with a bottle of wine. Wonderful bakery right under the apartment and grocery stores right around the corner. Very spacious apartment and would definitely rent it again.

We LOVED our stay in Trastavere! Just love the location and how safe it feels. The apt was quaint and so thoughtfully set up for us with small provisions such as bread, jam, coffee, wine, juice, etc. That definitely set them apart from the rest of the places we stayed on our trip. We will definitely recommend this apt to friends!

Great Neighborhood

Close to restaurants and shops in Trastevere. Very spacious apartment with well stocked kitchen. WiFi was down in the area which was a bit of an inconvenience.

Spacious apartment in vibrant Trastevere

Lamberto is a terrific host. Super friendly. The apartment is roomy, very comfortable and well equipped. It overlooks a bustling, vibrant piazza which got quite rowdy late into the evenings we stayed. Trastevere is the best area to experience Rome.

Perfect for us!

We had a great stay. The apartment was in a wonderful area-we enjoyed the restaurants around as well as the mark that sold fresh fruit across the piazza. It was quiet at night and convenient to shops, transportation etc. The bedrooms and living room were cooled perfectly by the AC. We had everything we need and the host was available to us if we needed anything (specifically when we thought my son might need an urgent care, he responded with helpful info right away.) We would definitely love to go back-don't hesitate on this property!

Great apartment in a busy location

Perfectly comfortable apartment in the busy area of Trastevere. Everything is working and in order. The building and apartment is very nice. Very friendly and helpful host. Everything you need for groceries is nearby - the market in the piazza, a bakery, cheese store, candy store, cookie store and coffee shop. There are also several supermarkets very close by. Spacious and well-appointed space. I’ve stayed here three times!

Perfect Location and Space in the Heart of Rome

The photos for this apartment don't do it justice. Its on a beautiful piazza with cafes and restaurants below and the space is perfectly appointed with all the comforts of home. Lamberto was easy to work with which made are stay wonderful and stress-free. The beds and linens were soft and comfortable, the apartment was larger than I was expecting and the kitchen had some items stocked which was such a nice touch. Really appreciated it. Lamberto has a list of neighborhood restaurants and they were all delicious - the food was amazing of course, but it was nice to know where to go with so much to choose from. We could easily walk everywhere and could grab a taxi to the airport simply. We hated to leave. Thanks for Lamberto for opening up your home and making our stay in Rome to wonderful!

Great apartment-wonderful neighborhood

My daughter and I stayed in Lamberto's wonderful apartment a couple of weeks ago. The apartment is exceptionally clean and well situated for visiting Rome. The Trastevere neighbor is by far the best neighbor in Rome with a true Roman feel. The apartment is close to great restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores and a clothing store, which you may need if the airlines lose your luggage!! :-( Lamberto met us right on time even after our flight had been delayed and was a pleasure to work with throughout the rental process. He responded to all questions quickly and provide suggestions on dining, ETC. The apartment has great A/C which you don't normally need in October, but we did this year and it worked great. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was nicely stocked. The TV had English speaking channels...Yes!! We didn't find this with the other two apartments we rented, so this was nice. Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment in this fantastic neighborhood. Rent this apartment, you won't regret it.

A little gem

i am writing this review whilst sitting in the apartment. This apartment is simply 'brilliant'. The apartment is spotlessly clean, with every thing provided to make your stay as homey as possible. Consumables such as detergent to launder clothes, dishwashing liquid, etc. The wifi was reliable and the air conditioning a welcome relief from the heat and humidity. This little gem of an apartment has some terrific bonuses for the international traveller. Whilst we all like to think we may not get sick, my husband came down with bronchitis and I got sinusitis whilst travelling from Australia. Don't fear. Within a 5 minute walk is a hospital which has a tourist medical clinic with opening hours of 24/7. They offer an excellent service and free of charge. Better still! There are many pharmacies all within walking distance. To make life a whole lot easier, there is a fresh produce market operating every morning and if you don't want to cook, the area is plagued with restaurants that are NOT geared towards the tourist. The Trastevere is very beautiful, with an energy all of its own. Whilst touring the sites whether by tram, bus or foot, it was very easy. It felt great coming back over the river to escape the tourists and find the 'place' to feel totally at home. Lombarto is extremely professional, reliable and honest. This makes the booking process very simple. We travelled from Australia and the rendezvous meeting time of 3 pm outside the building was perfect for both parties. It went like clock work. If I could offer only one improvement, better pillows. Sleep for the tourist is a must and I have to say not one of my family liked the pillows. Something a bit firm and non allergic would be fantastic, as well as 2 per bed. That said, the beds and everything else is extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend this property and would have no hesitation coming back even with the dire condition of the pillows.
