Planta baja características:
3 amplios dormitorios cada uno con baño privado, área de entrada formal y sala de juegos grande con construido en bar húmedo, mesa de billar y gran patio cubierto con vistas a la piscina y el océano.

Características del segundo piso:
Una gran cocina abierta con barra de desayuno de la isla, gran comedor abierto, dos grandes al aire libre cubierto y patio / comedor abierto fuera de la cocina con vistas a la laguna de Placencia y las montañas mayas y el otro con vistas a la piscina y el océano. También en este nivel es una gran suite privada de huéspedes con vistas al océano completo con su propio patio privado con vistas a la piscina y el océano.

Características del tercer piso:
La planta superior es una suite principal masiva y baño privado, con bañera de hidromasaje de gran tamaño, ducha al aire libre y grandes patios cubiertos y abiertos con vistas tanto al mar y la laguna y las montañas.

Un garaje independiente y cuartos de personal también se encuentra en la propiedad.

My family had an amazing five days at Jammin Gecko Villa. The Villa was very well kept, had everything we needed for dinning and entertainment and was well looked after by the very friendly and helpful staff. The daily chef service is a must as Chef Julia prepared wonderful meals for us during our stay. We will definitely return to Jammin Gecko or another Gecko managed property very soon.

Awesome vacay

The house was beautiful, comfortable, perfect! Our chef, Damion, was friendly, kind, fun, and made us the most delicious dishes, and the desserts, wonderful! Maybel and crew made our stay so relaxing, no worries at all! In fact, they went above and beyond to fix a wheelchair that the airlines had lost parts to, so my niece could enjoy the week on the beach. Can't say enough about what a fantastic time we had. Thank you all!

Luxury, Entertainment and Service at Jammin Gecko

Our family had an amazing five days at Jammin Gecko Villa. The vacation of a lifetime!

From the moment we walked through the door to the sad moment we left we had the most amazing time. Everyone involved with our stay was fantastic. Our private chef Miguel was top notch. He was extremely accommodating to our special requests and was a pleasure to speak with. Anything we needed while we were there was taken care of swiftly and with the utmost care. Mabel and her sister were both so sweet to us and helped us fulfill our dream vacation plans. Every year we stay somewhere different but this time around we found our vacation home. We can't wait to come back to this beautiful home and terrific people to spend another fun filled week of paradise.

It is the cleanest home we’ve ever stayed at and the food was excellent

We can’t explain in words what an amazing experience we’ve had while in Belize staying at Jammin’ Gecko. Great house Great Location.

We spent 8 days with our entire family. This home was the perfect setup. Top floor master suite was great the bed was just right for us. Second floor kitchen and 1 bed room was perfect for our daughter and grandson. Main floor was great for our son and his wife. Plenty of space for everyone. Pool was the place to be all week. Beautiful sunrises every day. We were able to see rays several varieties of fish and crabs. Even seen a pod of dolphin and a few manatees off the neighboring peir. Overall a nice place to stay.

Never disappoints

This was our third stay at Jammin' Gecko and it has always exceeded our expectations. This was the first time that we booked Chef Domingo for our entire stay and it was more than worth it. Excellent food and much less expensive than going out to eat. He was always very flexible in accommodating our meal times based on the activities we had scheduled. Top notch staff and very friendly.

The Jammin Gecko was truly a one of a kind fabulous week. This property is amazing!

This beautiful house is everything it is advertised to be. It was immaculate, well appointed, and very comfortable. The chefs that cooked for us were good at what they do, very professional, and friendly. Housekeeping and concierge staff were also great. I wish I could transport this property, along with the staff, with me to every vacation destination from here on out. I have been spoiled and will have a hard time not comparing everywhere I stay to this place.

Family Fun

This was a wonderful location to gather as a family and spread out. Plenty of room, amenities, comfortable and having Manuel as our personal cook was the highlight of our trip. Every staff member was accommodating, friendly, helpful and very nice. The house and grounds were kept daily, so our return back from excursions felt so fresh and enjoyable. This is a very nice location, the beach, pier and private pool offer views that are just beautiful. We also had golf cart transportation which allowed us to explore more of the community. We felt safe and people we encountered were friendly and spoke English so we did not have a language barrier. Looking forward to another visit in the future. Thank you for the care and attention provided.

Amazing Location and Staff!

Jammin Gecko Villa was absolutely beautiful! The ocean view is amazing! The staff were so sweet, friendly and helpful! Mabel was very welcoming and always there if we needed something! Erica answered all of our questions about excursions and helped us with the booking process! Jorge was outside every single morning helping keep the pool and the beach clean. Manuel, our chef, cooked the most delicious meals! The ingredients were fresh! He went to the store the morning before every meal day. The staff truly went above and beyond ! I can’t wait to book here again! Thank you all for the wonderful hospitality and experience!

Fantastic Family Villa

It was very easy and efficient to rent the Jammin Gecko Villa for our family of 6 adults and 5 children. The villa was very clean and well appointed with nice furnishings and a very functional layout. Beds were comfortable with modern bathrooms adjacent to the bedroom. Housekeeping kept the inside and pool and outside areas very clean and tidy. Very abundant supply of beach towels and bath towels. Our chef Manuel was excellent with tasty meals and a variety of entrees. Seaside location and private pool with toys made play time for the children great. The bar downstairs provided an excellent place for wine and rum tastings. This is the PERFECT family villa!!

Our group of four couples recently stayed at Jammin' Gecko through Gecko Vacation Rentals, and we couldn't be more impressed! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and exceptional. Erica, our concierge, was incredibly responsive and helpful as we coordinated the logistics of our trip. Her attention to detail and timely communication made the planning process stress-free and smooth. On-site, MaBell (forgive us if we’ve misspelled it!) and her housekeeping team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. She was so kind, attentive to our needs, and made sure the home was pristine every single day. And let’s talk about Marvin, our private chef — WOW! His culinary skills blew us away. Every meal he prepared was thoughtful, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Truly some of the best food we had during our entire time in Belize. His professionalism and suggestions elevated our stay beyond expectations. The home itself was also perfect for our group — spacious, luxurious, and comfortable. With five bedrooms each having their own bathroom, everyone had the privacy they needed while still enjoying time together in the shared living spaces. We never felt cramped and truly felt at home. The Jammin Gecko is a perfect oasis in the heart of Placencia, Belize

What a week! Our two couples had an incredible week of being pampered by the folks at the Jammin Gecko. From great concierge service, to daily laundry and cleaning, and the fabulous chef and food we had, we couldn't have asked for anything more spectacular. We recommend eating at the Bistro, especially the Peanut Brittle pie, just a short walk or ride in Maya, bowling there also- fun and cheap, and taking the Monkey River Tour. We plan on returning next summer hopefully during the drier season to see and do things that we couldn't with the day of rain we had. We loved the pool, the pool table, the quietness, serenity of the location, and the staff there. My highest recommendation goes with this VRBO home or the others operated by VisionPropertiesBelize.com.

A great multigenerational family house

We had a wonderful 2 weeks staying at the Jammin Gecko villa. We were a family of 10 ranging in age from 21 months to 70 years. One of the reasons we picked Jammin Gecko was that the bedrooms were on different levels. We, the grandparents, enjoyed the great top floor suite and considered it our quiet zone. The middle floor with one bedroom was nice for our childless couple and the lower level with 3 bedrooms was for our daughter’s family with the 4 children. The other reason we liked Jammin Gecko was the pool. We made very good use of it! We had lots of family time but could spread out and find quiet places when we wanted them. We were able to snorkel from the beach, kayak, and fish from the shared pier. The location allowed us to go to the zoo on our way from Belize City. We also toured the Mayan ruins, took a catamaran cruise, went diving and snorkeling, and took 2 great sunset cruises. Mabel and Mindy kept the house spotlessly clean and our laundry done which is a lot of work with small children! Orlando cooked for us 7 days which was a wonderful treat until I got on the scales after returning home😬. The pool and the beach were well maintained and always clean. I felt like the only negative was that the furniture was not particularly comfortable especially in the main living area. A house this size needs a living area that is big enough for everyone to gather in if they choose to. I would however still recommend this house. Hopefully we’ll be back again.

AMAZING!

From start to finish, this was truly one of the BEST vacations we've ever had—and we travel often, both within and outside the U.S. Our entire experience in Belize was nothing short of amazing. All nine of us agree without hesitation that this is one of the few trips we would happily take again. Normally, we prefer to explore new places rather than return to the same destination twice, but Placencia stole our hearts—we’d go back in a heartbeat. The staff’s warm welcome, attentiveness, and friendly professionalism were exceptional. They struck the perfect balance between being available when we needed them and giving us space to relax and enjoy ourselves. The chefs who prepared our meals were absolutely fantastic—it was such a treat to enjoy delicious, home-cooked food without having to lift a finger in the kitchen! And the house—Jammin’ Gecko—was simply incredible. It’s a stunning property, perfectly situated right on the ocean, with a gorgeous pool and plenty of space. The layout and number of bedrooms were ideal for our group of four adults and five teenagers. We couldn’t have asked for a better setup, and I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone considering a stay in Placencia. A special thank you to the amazing staff who went above and beyond to help us celebrate a birthday during our trip. The balloons and thoughtful touches made our 17-year-old family friend feel so special—it’s a memory she, and all of us, will treasure forever. You far exceeded our expectations for service. If I had one suggestion, it would be to improve communication around dietary restrictions. One of our group members has Celiac disease and cannot eat gluten. Although we noted this in advance via email and during booking, it seemed the message didn’t reach the chef, as her meals were served with gluten-containing items and no alternatives. Thankfully, her case is on the milder side and she was okay, but cross-contact can pose serious health risks. I just wanted to flag this for future guests. Aside from that, everything was perfect. Thank you for giving us such an unforgettable experience. Even the kids said this was their favorite vacation yet—and that’s saying something! We will absolutely be back.

Amazing! Beautiful, clean, great crew!

We spent 6 days at Jammin Gecko and had an amazing time. The beach is wonderful. The dock adds a fun view and place to take pictures or just relax. The staff exceeded all of our expectations. They were friendly, knowledgeable and down right awesome! We would stay here again with no hesitation.

Birthday Trip

The Jammin Gecko was amazing! I celebrated my 50th birthday with family and friends. Mabel and Manuel were fantastic. I highly recommend you ask for Manuel as your personal chef. He is perfection. Mabel cleans the house and washes clothes daily. You will never want to leave. However, watch out for excursions some of them are scams and their credit card machines NEVER work, conveniently.

We recently stayed with 10 people ( 4 kids ages 7-10, and 6 adults). The property was immaculate. The staff was helpful, assessable, and super hospitable. We elected to have Domingo cook for the full week, and every meal was on time, nutritious and delicious ( definitely worth the extra days to have worry free meals, and given the distance of other restaurants for a party that size without a rental van). The portal was helpful in deciding which excursions we wanted to try. Transportation was arranged, and timely. The pool was a hit for the kiddos ( and adults). Again, the staff and management of the property was wonderful. We would highly recommend, and would love to return for another trip. Our only recommendations are to confirm quantity of groceries on the portal to stock the house ahead of time. For example, it says "coffee" with a quantity to pick. It wasn't clear if that was pounds, bags, K-cups,. This recommendation is relevant for all quantities of items being ordered through the portal. Another recommendation is for installation of towel hooks out by the pool/pool house, and within the rooms. Lot's of wet towels with a group that size. Also be prepared with cash to pay for all groceries, and overshoot how much you will need, as we were not as prepared and needed to make a trip into town for the ATM's. Highly recommend the snorkeling and Laughing Bird Caye, it was beyond our expectations, the staff was very knowledgeable and kid friendly. We also did Monkey River, which BE OVERLY prepared for bugs. We following the instructions with long loose clothing, hats, and DEET spray, and it was no match for the jungle mosquitos. The manatee stop on the way back was a fan favorite from our group. We loved this property and loved our travel to Belize!

Perfect house for a friends getaway

From the booking process through checkout, we kept thinking this was too good to be true, but it was all real! The staff was incredible and was able to offer as much or as little help as we wanted at every step of planning our trip. The house is beautiful, well designed for both privacy and group gatherings and meticulously maintained. The owners have thought of everything--from the pool table to the wine cooler by the pool to the house cell phone for making local calls. They missed no detail in offering the guest a smooth and relaxing experience. Our trip was wonderful!

On site staff are a very friendly young couple that speak great English and make you feel at home. They are extremely professional, trust worthy and guests can arrange for wife to baby sit, if they want to leave smaller children to go diving or enjoy a great meal out.

The now fully paved 26 mile Placencia road makes getting on and off the peninsula by car a much more enjoyable and faster experience, thus making access to the rain forest, Mayan ruins, cave tubing and other attractions in the jungle easily accessible.

Being the 6th home we have constructed, Jammin' Gecko will have all the amenities a family or group of friends could want in their vacation rental.
High end finish out with use of local hard woods, all natural stone flooring and attention to detail inside and out. Third floor master suite provides the ultimate in privacy and amazing views of both the ocean and the mountains. While the home has high end efficient and quite air-conditioning it was designed to open the windows and doors to take advantage of the cool ocean breeze.
