Perfect place to stay!

We loved this property! This house was spotlessly clean and had every amenity we needed. The location was just right for exploring the Juneau/Douglas area. This was all capped off by a stunning view of downtown Juneau and the surrounding mountains. Our hosts thought of everything to make our visit comfortable and enjoyable--five stars without a doubt!

Nice Host, Neighborhood and Convenient.

Douglas is not far from downtown Juneau, But then NO place is too far from Downtown.

The house is located right across the bay from downtown and was comfortable. It was much nicer than the photos so we were pleasantly surprised. We did not spend much time at the house, but when we were there we enjoyed looking across the harbor at all of the activities, and cruise ships without having to be in the middle of it. It is a 5 minute walk to the bus station for a cheep ride downtown. (be sure and have the exact change -$2) Durring the business hours it comes twice an hour. We had a Bald Eagle park itself in the tree right out the back window! 30 feet from the back door.

Included with the house are some nice amenities including a pass to the tram! (which we thoroughly enjoyed) It is a short walk to downtown Douglas and some great local food. We had a couple of gourmet pizzas at the Island Pub.

Our Hostess was the mostest and worked with us when out arrangements changed at the last minute.She was great. I would love to stay there again sometime. Two Thumbs up.

Home away from home!

Owners Colleen and Kevin were very gracious and friendly homeowners. Colleen was very helpful in pointing out local interests, suggestions and readily available to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Condo was very clean, quiet, stocked with all the necessities and more and beds were very comfortable! We enjoyed watching the fireworks, cruise ships, float planes and eagles from the deck each day. We will most definitely be back if/when we return.

Fantastic place to stay - views, views, views!!!

From the moment we drove up to the townhouse we knew we made an excellent choice about where we were staying on our vacation in Juneau. The first thing you see when you walk through the front door is the view of spectacular mountains and downtown Juneau across the water channel. All I can say is views, views, views! The outdoor deck in the back overlooks the channel where we spent each evening enjoying the view and a glass of wine. The master bedroom is roomy and the bed is very comfortable. The amenities were prefect and plentiful. The hosts even thought to have binoculars available so we could look at a bald eagle that liked to sit on top of a tree near by. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything to make meals when we didn't want to go out to eat. Having a washer and dryer was definitely a bonus. It was nicely remodeled, very clean and comfortable.

The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and knowledgable about the area. They had great recommendations for hiking, fun things to do and great places to eat. We even enjoyed cruising around on the bikes that were provided. We plan on staying there next year!!! And plan on recommeding this great place to everyone we know.
