In the city center of Arezzo, alongside Casa Vasari, it lies the ancient palace of 1600 the Ubertini Conti. Within walking distance of all the attractions of the city, the old kitchens of the palace has been converted into an elegant and cozy guest house equipped with every comfort and with a multitude of small fascinating corners.
Finely furnished with antique furniture and rugs and antiques, Locanda Bellavita is a ground floor apartment with separate entrance consists of two double bedrooms and one with double bed, a bathroom with tub and a bathroom with shower, a large living room with an immense fireplace, dining room and kitchen professional cooking.

We had a wonderful time in Arezzo and there is no better place to stay than at Stefano’s home. He is the perfect host and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. He is also an incredible chef and the dining experience in learning to cook the local foods was fantastic. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!Grazie Stefano! Ciao!

We had an amazing experience! To start, the accommodations were an actual work of art! Stephano spent years lovingly restoring it to a masterpiece. Next, we took a cooking class where we had a ball making eggplant, ravioli, tiramisu, etc. It was so fun and delicious and we had enough food to eat for the rest of our stay! Finally, we went on a wine tour with Stephano that was so special because we could experience the day with a local! We are hoping to return and stay for longer! It’s a great place to stay and experience Tuscany! Love love love this place!

Not only are his accommodations beautiful, comfortable and historic, but he was the visionary, renovator, chef, and most delightful tour guide we could have hoped for! This was absolutely one of our best stays ever, and we have traveled a lot. If you love history, this place is definitely for you. Stefano has done the world a huge favor by reclaiming this place and restoring it to its former grandeur. Also if he is available, we strongly recommend to ask Stefano for the cooking class. We will never forget this night and now we know how to make ravioli from scratch and tiramisu!! Now we just need the big board and rolling pin. Thank you Stefano

Ultimate combination of comfort, style, history and super host! This was our second stay with Stefano and it was brilliant. So peaceful and cozy. The patio offers a relaxing oasis and the food was a true highlight of our vacation. Please book extra days to truly enjoy your experience. The city has lots to offer and is great for kids with a beautiful park nearby.Next time I hope to stay at least a week and do some cooking classes with Stefano. We had a magnificent stay in Arezzo with Stefano. He was a very gracious and helpful host picking us up and dropping us off at the train station. We also did a cooking class in the house and a day tour with him that were both really fun and fantastic for seeing more authentic sights in Tuscany. The property was exactly as described in a great location downtown, very easy walking distance to many local sights, shops, and a park. We had two young kids with us and they were also very comfortable with plenty of space in the house. Will be dreaming of this place for a long time!

Where to begin?! Stefano has created a truly magical apartment full of historical character and comfort. His attention to detail for his guests goes above and beyond. He shared restaurant recommendations which were wonderful. Be sure to ask him to share his story of bringing the space to life, it’s fascinating! Although we didn’t have a chance to take advantage of it, he also offers cooking classes for guests. There is a lovely terrace garden guests can access for quiet moments. His charming dog Spritz is sweet and joined us in the garden. If you want a one of a kind space to enjoy while in Arezzo, then look no further!

Beautiful stay

Our accommodations were even more beautiful than described. Stefano was friendly and easily accessible to answer questions. We felt like we received a true Tuscan experience in this quaint little town. Would not hesitate to book here again!!!

This place had it all - fabulous location, incredible ambience and the most amiable host you can imagine. It immediately felt like home. We spent two glorious weeks there enjoying an amazing city, beautiful nearby small towns and Stefano’s custom brand of hospitality. This is his passion and it shows. There are a lot of beautiful places in Tuscany but only a few special ones. This is one of those places.

We can’t say enough about this property or the host. Stefano picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. We booked a cooking class and a wine tour with him. What a delight to stay in a former 16th century Count’s home! It was very special and made our whole trip extremely memorable. It’s been modernized but maintains the period look with modern appliances hidden from view with custom cabinetry. Wonderful lighting and a fireplace worthy of a grand palace. The enormous bathtub delivers hot water to the top unlike a lot of other grand tubs in Europe that looks the part but runs out of hot water after a few inches. We’d give this place 6 stars if I could. The owner is so personable and kind. We can’t thank Stefano enough for this rare step back into history.

Beyond stunning!

A gorgeous apartment in a perfect location. We had the most fabulous time staying in Bella Vita. Stefan’s is an amazing host and the apartment couldn’t be more beautiful. We can’t wait to come back.
