This is our second time staying here and still didn't disappoint. If you want to get a way from it all this is a great place.

Great cabin with rustic feel and wonderful views.

We came up from Florida for a week of elk hunting. The cabin was great and and had all the amenities you would need for a week in the mountains. We especially enjoyed the wood burning stove which came with plenty of wood pre cut on site. Area had great habitat for elk however we did not manage to get one on this trip. We would definitely come back again.

Very nice rustic cabin with a wood burning stove and comfortable beds

Upon our arrival the caretakers Wade & Dawna were at the main lodge to greet us and fill us in on small details of the cabin and lodge property. The next morning we met the owners Kevin & Paulette who extended our welcome to the Laughing Coyote property. We spent most of our time in the national forest hunting Elk. The cabin provided a relaxing place to enjoy rest in between our outdoor activities. We would definitely stay here again.

wonderful forest cabin

Comfy, isolated cabin 1.5 miles from Groundhog Reservoir, many deer around, everything you need in cabin, hosts very friendly and respectful of privacy yet there if needed. Also, firewood was readily available and cabin heated up perfect.

This is the perfect place for a rustic getaway. Friendly and inviting caregivers. We even enjoyed the doe resting under the deck.
