The nearest farm in England to France, known during the war as ‘Front Line Farm’ plays host to this selection of cosy holiday cottages just a short walk to the picturesque beach of St.Margaret's Bay and village.

A private path leads to the White Cliffs where National Trust walks provide stunning views across the Channel to France.

Dover and its famous castle are within 5 miles,the pretty fishing town of Deal approx. 6 miles and historic Canterbury a 25 minute drive. London is only 1 hour away by train via the High Speed link from Dover and day trips to France are easy to arrange.

This corner of Kent is home to a range of activities for all the family with castles, historic houses, zoos, museums and beautiful beaches. With no less than 4 quality golf courses within a 20 minute drive the area is perfect for a coastal golf break.

Lovely, quiet surroundings near the coast.

Near walks through woodland to the coastal path, and a short walk from The Smugglers, pub with good food and beer, in St Margaret's.Property had plenty of space for four staying, and one occasional visitor. Comfortable and clean.There was a wedding on the Saturday, but it didn't disturb us at all.

First impressions 'Great' spacious and quiet beautiful surroundings.

Our experience was all good. James was readily available anytime we called him (once) the swimming pool was gorgeous! The horses gave us hours of entertainment watching them. Along with the rabbits first thing in the mornings. We will be back!

Clean, comfortable stay

We spent a weekend in the cottage. It was clean and adequately furnished. Quite countryside with some great walking trails all around. Well worth the money and would strongly recommend if you are looking for peace and quite.

Cottage was very spacious and quiet. James arranged everything in the Cottage, felt like we are at home. kids loved watching horses. We would love to go back and stay in the same place again!!

Entspannung und Wohlfühlen pur

Wir haben uns hier richtig wohl gefühlt, auch wenn wir nur 3 Nächte hier waren. Mitten in der Natur und trotzdem alles, was man braucht. Und dazu noch Pferde, Hasen und Füchse direkt vor der Haustüre. Der Strand ist ca. 20 Gehminuten entfernt, das Auto kann man also getrost stehen lassen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Fähre in unmittelbarer Umgebung! Kommen gerne wieder, sobald es uns auf die Insel zieht.

We all had a lovely week, the cottage was perfect for our needs and the hosts were very friendly. We would definitely use the cottage again. Only negative was the upstairs shower which was too weak to be of any use and everyone used the downstairs ensuite. Found some lovely walks and visited the coastguard on the bay almost daily. Many Thanks Troy and family
