You have to stay here, because it is beautiful, modern, clean, perfectly located. The views of the Caldera are outstanding. Maria, the host is by far the best hostess, she is kind, warm and friendly, provided us with not only amazing breakfast every single day, that are traditional Greek meals. Her recommendations for what to do, where to go, such as the sites to see, how to get there, and where we should dine out, even when as far as making reservations for us. She helped me book various excursions. Everything was just amazing. I would definitely come back if and when I have the opportunity.

Our family of four (two teenage daughters) stayed at the Hemera house for four days after previous stays in Imerovigli and Oia. Maria was a gracious host and communicated quickly. She is very passionate about the Hemera house and wants to ensure all your needs are provided while offering unique homemade breakfasts and informs you of local activities in the area. Pros: The Hemera house is located along a main road but in a more remote, laid back area just outside of Akrotiri. The views are beautiful looking out over the caldera towards Oia. The house is clean and the living areas spacious. Maria had fruits, breads, coffee, yogurt, a local bottle of wine and various jars of candied(?) grapes, capers and local herbs. Our girls utilized the outdoor areas for pool and sunbathing. Maria brought different delicious Grecian breakfast items each morning. Cons: There are three bedrooms but only the one bathroom downstairs. There is a tight-winding

Thank you so much for sharing your detailed feedback about your family's and yours stay at Hemera Holiday Home villa on Santorini. It was an absolute pleasure hosting all of you after your time in Imerovigli and Oia! I am thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our peaceful, laid-back location outside of Akrotiri, as well as the beautiful caldera views. Preparing those traditional Greek breakfasts and stocking the house with local treats like our homemade candied grapes, capers, and herbs is my passion, so knowing your family loved them truly means the world to me. I am also glad your daughters made great use of the outdoor pool and sunbathing areas! Regarding the bathroom facilities, I completely understand how a family of four needs plenty of space! I just wanted to gently clarify for future travelers that in addition to the full bathroom downstairs, Hemera Holiday Home villa also features a convenient W.C. upstairs, an outside guest toilet, and an outdoor shower by the pool area to help ease the morning rush as stated in the description and the photos of the listing. Thank you again for your kindness, your valuable feedback, and for choosing Hemera Holiday Home villa on Santorini. We would love to welcome all of you back to Santorini in the future!

Wonderful host and a perfect location

The villa is a hidden gem in a more private part of Santorini. The sunset from the balcony is as beautiful as the one you can see in Fía and Oia, but with privacy! The host Maria is very friendly and helpful, she arranged transfers for us, made breakfasts for us, give us extra yogurt and fruits when she heard that one of our daughters has gluten intolerance. Our stay in Santorini was perfect thanks to the villa and Maria’s wonderful hospitality.

We stayed for four nights at Hemera Holiday House. We were extremely pleased with our stay. Maria was very helpful in identifying things to do and see during our stay. The house is perfectly situated so that one can see both the southern sea and the Caldera. It was so cool with winds from both sides and pleasant. We look forward to an opportunity to stay again in the future.

We had a very memorable holiday to Greece recently and the highlight of the trip was our time spent in Santorini. The Hemera holiday home was a beautiful property just as seen in the pictures. The property has the most gorgeous views of the caldera and sunsets and is very clean and comfortable. Our host was amazing and took care of all our needs and more! Wonderful Villa and Host

The villa was such a lovely place to stay with my family. It was extremely well maintained and clean. Our host Maria, was always there to help with anything we needed. She also makes a very delicious breakfast each morning which is so well appreciated. My sons and I enjoyed being able to spend time around the pool and listening to music after days of touring . Great speaker Maria lol. We would highly recommend staying here!!!

Wonderful stay with young children

We were beyond thrilled with our stay at the Hemera Holiday Home. The property is beautiful with a pool that our kids spent hours in each day. Maria is an incredibly helpful host; she arranged for our rental car, set up horseback riding, and cooked delicious breakfasts for us every day (with fresh produce from her garden). The air conditioning in the bedrooms was especially amazing; we could open the windows for sea air if we wanted, but when it was especially hot we really enjoyed being able to come inside and get some relief. This is easily the best home rental experience we have ever had and THANK YOU Maria for facilitating our wonderful trip.
