Overlooking the picturesque St. Simons Park, and in the heart of the Village, our home will immerse you in the southern charm you you’ve come for. Within walking distance to all that makes the community unique and fun, you will be able to park your car for the entire vacation. Our home is perfectly located for those looking to explore both the beaches and the Village. Day or night, you can walk to dinner, cocktails, shopping, or the waterfront. You can cart all your gear and a picnic to either the beach or fishing pier in a five minute walk. You’ll be a stone’s throw from courts, ball fields, and playgrounds. Spend hours biking the shady streets in our quiet neighborhood overhung by 200 year old oak trees. Curl up with a book on one of the four private and comfy porches/patios.

The house is well suited for a large family, a couple of families, or several couples. There is 2500ft of space to spread out and find peace, yet there are wonderful common areas to enjoy each others company. On the main level a large comfortable living room, a full dining room, a spacious eat-in kitchen, en suite bedroom, another bathroom, and separate laundry room. Upstairs are three bedrooms and two more baths. Everybody's favorite is the front porch with comfortable seating, but there is a screened rear deck, a second floor balcony, a outdoor sun patio and a large fenced yard around the house.

Our neighborhood is safe and easy for kids to explore on their own. Playgrounds, baseball fields, basketball, tennis and pickleball courts are only a block away. Neptune Park Pool and putt-putt is just a three block walk away. We also provide beach chairs, beach cart, toys, bikes, fishing rods, SUP, and a double kayak for your family's use. We also have a closet full of games, puzzles, and arts and craft supplies for your use.

If bringing your dog, they'll know they are on vacation too when they see the wide open park to run around in and the pooch parade it attracts. They are also safe to be left in the fenced yard with a dog door to access air conditioning in the laundry room. Dogs are welcome during morning and evening hours on all beaches.

This is our primary residence and only rent it while we are travelling. You are sure to enjoy an experience far different from a full time rental, and we hope our guests will feel comfortable in a real home away.

Loved the space and the porch

We enjoyed our stay so much. The rooms and home was spacious, providinng all . . and more... than we could ask. But our fav spot was def the front porch and the ability to truly walk to the beach, walk to the pier, walk through the cute neighborhoods and enjoy being outside which was JUST what we wanted.

Everything one needs in a vacation location

Hosts are very gracious, home met all of our needs both space wise and location. Included were bikes for our use and they were used every day. Kitchen and baths had everything we needed. Location was perfect for all of us to gather or go out alone. Beach, pier, shops all within a few blocks. Very quiet street, fantastic neighborhood.

July 4 fun

We stayed at your rental for 6 nights.Cannot say enough about the place. Easy check in ,well equipped, beautiful neighborhood easy walk to beach and town.And the Owners were responsive and lovely to work with. We were 4 chlildren and 5 adults from Seattle and Georgia. We would love to come back during a cooler month!

Amazing Location

Perfect home for families and very dog friendly! No need to drive & find parking - easy walk to restaurants, play ground, dog park, and the pier. Wonderfully appointed home with everything you need! Great getaway

We really enjoyed our SSI getaway!! For us, the location was perfect for walking to pier village, for meals and shopping, a short bike ride to the beach, and the park nearby was fun to play basketball and pickleball. The communication was easy and open with Robert and the house was very well stocked. From a few things in the kitchen we needed to having all of the bikes and beach essentials. Loved it!

Amazing Location!

We're grateful for the opportunity to have gathered with our family at this beautiful home. Our group of 9 (6 adults and 3 children) fit comfortably. The location is outstanding - the park directly across the street provides incredible green space for children to run; we also enjoyed an easy stroll to the basketball courts just down the block. Walking to the beach, lighthouse, dinner or just down the street for ice cream made for an ideal location! Many thoughtful extras, including a well stocked kitchen, were highly appreciated; we chose to cook most of our meals but loved that there were also many options within easy walking distance. Truly an ideal location, tucked away in a picturesque town.

Like we were living on SSI again

The house has great energy and the owners are super generous to open up their home (+ gear) to visitors. We rode the bikes every day, played games, cooked simple meals, enjoyed the home completely. The weather didn’t allow us to make use of the boat. We spent a holiday together and this space was a wonderful foundation for our vacation that included nightly sunset walks, beach exploration, SSI favorites, Jekyll island, Brunswick and more. We used to live on SSI so this was extra special for us to seamlessly visit our old lives and make new memories from the blue house on the park. Th location is perfect!!! We loved the porch and the painted tiles! The owners are delightful!

Family Gathering

We just spent a wonderful week on St Simons with our two daughters and their families. Rob and Shannon have a beautiful home that had ample space for all 8 of us (and our dachshund) and they were the perfect hosts. They checked in with us throughout the week to make sure we had everything we needed and when the upstairs AC got knocked out by a storm, they arranged to have it fixed within a day! We were only a few minutes walk from the beach and lots of restaurants and the dog loved chasing the squirrels in the park right across the street. There was a playground for the grandkids just down the street. And with all that, the home is in a quiet neighborhood where we had fun riding the bikes provided. During afternoon rainstorms, we played games or worked puzzles or sat on the lovely front porch visiting. We’re already thinking of going back again and would love to stay in the big, blue house a second time!

Thankful!

This is the first vacation we have taken since Covid very first hit. I also had(he just passed) a small dog with a lot of health issues therefore, I did not feel comfortable leaving him with anyone. Everything about this home was perfect! Very roomy yet cozy, kitchen and living room were a great size to comfortably hang with our family, and best of all we were able to bring our two beloved dogs. The home was very pet friendly yet SO clean!! The owner Rob is wonderful to deal with. Very accommodating and does not mind going the extra mile to give rainy day suggestions that are perfect for your family at whatever age. Rob is very responsive when you call or text. The home is walking distance to the beach and to restaurants and shopping. I honestly can’t say enough great things. We will definitely plan to stay there again. I am so thankful Rob and his family’s home provided us with a wonderful and meaningful vacation! Many thanks, The Johnsons

Close to Everything!

We had a mini family reunion with two of my sisters and their families along with our family of 7 (one set of newlyweds). We were able to invite my sisters and families over for dinner and had a blast cooking dinners together. They enjoyed being able to hang out with us because their condos were smaller and didn't allow extra people to gather there. We also had fun watching movies and Cake or Fake on the wall projector in the living room and playing all kinds of games together - some camp style for everyone and others from those in the game closet. Plus lots of great books to read! We were able to walk everywhere and only used the car to visit Jekyll Island. Loved the outside shower, beach chairs and bikes. We didn't use the kayak or SUP, but will if we stay again. The beds were comfortable and it was so nice to have toiletries provided. Our dog Mojo also enjoyed the park across the street from the house and going to restaurants with us and getting a souvenir from Island Pets. Overall a fabulous experience with amazing hosts!

Amazing!!! House is beautiful and the hosts were extremely welcome and friendly. The kitchen is full of everything you need to cook, the host provided many games to play, and provided necessities (toilet paper, shampoo, body wash). The location is top notch and everything is an easy walk or bike ride away!! Would recommend this place to everyone! House is huge and packed full of entertainment. 10/10 recommend.

Family Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home and neighborhood! The home is extremely well equipped and so very comfortable and spacious! Our 4 teenage daughters and two dogs had a fantastic time! We enjoyed tennis and basketball just a few blocks away and enjoyed scenic bike rides all around the island! We walked to delicious meals and yummy ice cream nightly! We highly recommend this lovely property!

Excellent Place!

We had an amazing time on St Simmons and the house was perfect! Perfect distance to get away from the crowds but walking distance from all the excitement! My family and I all loved it and the hosts were great! They were a text away when we had trouble with the AC and they sent a serviceman right over and got it fixed! Will definitely be back!

Great location!

We could walk to restaurants, shops, pier, Lighthouse, beach. Nice covered porch. We did opt to drive to 1st Street beach access. House has 4 bedrooms and a dining room table that seats 6/8. Table for 4 and barstools in kitchen. Lots and lots of games in closet. Lots of bikes and beach equipment in garage . Cart fit easily in bed of truck and we loaded it down. Big help! Owner checked on us early in the week. Would definitely stay their again.

Wonderful cottage

We had a great time in this neighborhood! The park nearby was perfect to walk the dog or go to the village. Our kids loved riding bikes! The house had everything we needed and more!

We have been renting the home for a few years, though only during summer and holiday vacations.

When we return from our travels, we always remark that St. Simon's Island is the coolest town in the world, and we love our peaceful neighborhood just on the edge of the Village and waterfront attractions.
