The house was lovely and perfect for what we needed. No complaints. The host was also personally flexible with us while we dealt with a family emergency days before our scheduled arrival and could not be any more gracious. Thank you!

This was a perfect home for our stay. We had three couples and there were three good-sized bedrooms and each bedroom had their own connected bathroom. We felt that each of us had our own suite. The owner, Catherine, and her assistant, Allison were great to work with and made sure our trip was enjoyable.

The property was beautifully located for our preferences...close to the beach...but not directly on the beach. Away from the crowds and noise that one would expect in a densely packed resort area. The property was on the marsh side of the island. Much more quiet and secluded. The kitchen was fully equipped...everything one would need, but the kitchen faucet leaked. The entire home was furnished nicely. TV was a little small for such a large home...but we weren't there to watch TV. The outside decking was perfect...plenty of room..two levels...great views. The one issue we were not happy with was NO ACCESS to the garage. The "How To" document telling us about the property (how to get access, how to connect to wifi, how to lock up, etc.) specifically said that we would have access to the garage. When we called the property manager and the property owner and asked about garage access .they responded with..."why do you need in the garage?" BECAUSE THE DOCUMENT SPECIFICALLY SAID WE WOULD HAVE ACCESS. I thought they would have apologized, said that the document was inaccurate...or something more constructive. We didn't think we should have to justify our need to use the garage (we wanted to store our bicycles in the garage). When leaving the cleaning/maintenance folks showed up exactly at departure time and they were very nice and helpful. We would come back to this property over and over (but we would know the garage was not available)

Great place!

We enjoyed our New Years stay at the Marshmellow! The property is located right on the marsh with beautiful views. Well kept, clean, and modern style make this the perfect rental for groups, families, or anyone just looking to spend a few quiet days in Wild Dunes.

Beautiful Marsh Views

We enjoyed our stay at your home. We had our adult kids with us and it was a perfect set up for our family. We had extended family who stayed at the hotel. It’s the perfect location for a family reunion!

Our family has owned 31 Marsh Island Ln since it was built in the 1980s. My grandfather built a home on the front beach in the 1940s which is still there at 3308 Palm Boulevard. When I was a child, we used to crab at the end of Wild Dunes which is now a golf course! I bought 31 Marsh Island Lane in 2013 and totally remodeled the home in 2014. Wild Dunes has been our home away from home for years, and we hope you love the island as much as we do!
