The Annexe is perfect, very clean, well equipped, private with a nice sitting out area and perfectly located for walking into Nairn. The owner even provided breakfast groceries on arrival. Will definitely be back when we are next visiting this lovely area. Highly recommended!

We had a truly lovely stay. A big thank you to Leslie for the warm welcome and for sharing his insights about the north of Scotland—it made our visit even more special. Unfortunately, despite his best efforts, the Wi-Fi connection in the accommodation wasn’t very reliable.
Mr. Leslie was absolutely awesome and so helpful to us. Loved Nairn and it was not a crazy tourist town but one that had so much charm. The place was outstanding for a long stay. We also made so many friends at the Havelock. Murdo was great and took good care of us. Was like a pub away from home. Thanks Leslie and hope to see you again soon! Mike

Thanks for those kind words. You need to come back soon and stay for longer so you can see more of our wonderful scenery.
Very well equipped and comfortable apartment, friendly and helpful host, off street parking, nice touch to have complimentary breakfast items for a couple of days, milk, tea, coffee, eggs, bacon, porridge and granola, butter and sauces, sugar, salt, pepper, etc. Very quiet location and close to bus and train station, cafes, beach and town. Quick 20 minute direct train into Inverness.Clean linens and towels, bathroom and general surfaces. Our only niggle is it could use a deep clean.
Excellent stay, convenient location walking distance to everywhere. Leslie the host very welcoming nothing too much trouble excellent welcome breakfast package in the fridge, everything provided, deffinately reccomend and we will visit again.thank you for being an excellent host.
Arrived at the annexe to be greeted by the host Leslie, who was very welcoming. He gave a a tour of the apartment and explained how everything worked and also gave an overview of the town of Nairn and the different places to get something to eat and the various places of interest and the popular walks etc. . Certainly will consider returning there in the future and have no hesitation in recommending the Annexe to friends & family
The location was very good, just a short walk to the town. Clean with everything needed for a relaxing stay,
Welcome breakfast pack left in fridge for us, thank you Lesley. Loved our stay and would look to book again in the future. Christine & Dave MacPherson.
The rooms were perfect, clean, well provided, space enough for four not just two and placed well for privacy from other guests or main house. Host was lovely and welcoming and a wealth of local information. Highly recommended.

Thank You Anna, glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again soon.

We had the most wunderfull time in Inverness, the apartment is very comfortable but the real gem of it all is the landlord, leslie himself. He showed us many places in and around Nairn and even went to culloden/clava clairns and applecross (westcoast side) with us himself! He drove us from and to the airport and we could honestly not have asked for a better host and new friend! We can't wait to come back again! We miss you
We had a great stay at Leslie's place. He has thought of everything for the apartment (washing machine with detergent, ironing board and iron, tissues, condiments, etc) and even included a breakfast hamper for us. Leslie also has maps and information books about local places of interest to help you plan your time there.Nairn is a lovely town and we found it easy to access the surrounding areas while we were there. We wouldn't hesitate to stay if we were in the area again. Thanks again, Leslie.

Really helpful and friendly host and great property
Booked this for my son and his girlfriend who moved to Inverness and needed accommodation for three weeks. The property was exactly as they expected and they said the host was super helpful and friendly and would recommend to friends and family travelling north to visit them. Thank you
This property is not only so perfect to stay in
and feel at home, but, much more than this, it
belongs to a person-Leslie-who makes guests
feel that they have a new friend in Annex-Nairn.

Thank you Demitris I enjoyed having you and Maria stay with me. I try to make my place somewhere my guests can completely relax and feel at home, and one can never have too many friends.
Lovely apartment in Nairn, short walk to the centre of town and close to the sea. Good facilities within the apartment, with an en suite double bed and a sofa bed in living area. Access to outside seating area. You also have access to a large sitting room. Ideal central location for visiting the moray firth.
This spacious apartment is fitted with everything you could need. A very generous welcome pack sorted out our breakfast. And town and the beach are a ten minute walk away

About the host
Your host
I am 77 years of age and after a varied career in Legal / Banking and among other things, owning and running a Photography and Design Studio, Upholstery Factory and Catering Establishments I am now using all my life experiences running The Annex Apartments in Nairn. Most of my guests come from abroad and in the last year I have played host to people from USA, Canada, Singapore, Finland, Germany, France, Spain, Australia and Slovakia. I treat my guests as I would like to be treated myself. I like to think of my guests as my friends and go that extra mile to make them welcome and make their stay with me memorable. I am a native Scot born in Aberdeen and have travelled to most parts of the country. I use my local knowledge to prepare and plan itinerary's and routes for my guests so they get the maximum benefit of the spectacular scenery that Scotland has to offer and judging from the reviews I get, I think the guests appreciate this. I also get a lot of satisfaction knowing that I have made my guests happy.
Why they chose this property
The Annex at Nairn is ideally situated as a base to explore The Scottish Highlands. Enjoy "The Outlander Experience" as Culloden Battlefield, Clava Cairns and Cawdor Castle are all a 10 minute drive away. Within a 40 minute drive is Loch Ness, Aviemore and the ski resorts, Speyside and The Distillery Trail, The Grampian Mountains and National Park. Glencoe, Fort William, The Isle of Skye are all a day trip away, as are all the main places of interest on "The North Coast Route 500" which is Scotlands equivalent of "Route 66" I have explored and prepared detailed routes of all the best places to visit within one days drive of Nairn, which saves you the trouble and effort.
What makes this property unique
The Annex at Nairn can be anything you want it to be. If you want peace and quiet and a place to relax, it is that. If you want it to be a base to reach out and explore the surrounding countryside, it is that. Most of my guests tend to do both. After a couple of days driving the highland roads for 8 hours, they are glad to just relax and chill out sitting on the deck and enjoying the peace and quiet of the garden, or walking along the beach. The Beaches at Nairn are one of Scotlands secret treasures. Most people are taken aback when they first see them. This is one of the reasons that Charlie Chaplin used to visit Nairn regularly on holiday. We also have another famous resident, Tilda Swinton, the Hollywood actress lives here with her family. If you still feel energetic we have bicycles which guests can use.
