The Sea Cottage

Nestled on the edge of the charming fishing village of Avoch, the Sea Cottage is a delightful holiday home that offers stunning views of the Moray Firth and the Scottish Highlands.

Inside, The Sea Cottage boasts a cosy and inviting living room, comfortable seating, Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, and coastal views. The kitchen is fully equipped for a should you wish to rustle up a meal during your stay.

The Sea House can accommodate up to four guests, ideal for friends and couples enjoying a weekend away or longer stay in Scotland. The bungalow features two double bedrooms, with one family bathroom including shower over bath, WC, and basin.

Outside, The Sea Cottage is surrounded by a lovely garden that overlooks the sea. There's a patio area with a table and chairs, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening meal while watching the sunset. The garden is a great spot for birdwatching, and you might even catch a glimpse of dolphins or seals in the bay.

The Sea Cottage is ideally situated for exploring the Scottish Highlands and the Moray Firth coastline. Take a stroll around the picturesque village of Avoch, visit the nearby historical town of Fortrose, or head further afield to explore the stunning Black Isle. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a family holiday, the Sea Cottage is the perfect retreat for those seeking a tranquil stay on the beautiful coastline.

Please be aware the fireplace is decorative and not in use at the property. Sorry unfortunately we cannot accept pets at this home.

Fantastic peaceful bungalow on the shore of the Moray Firth. Walkable to village of Avoch where there is a convenience store, nice cafe, Indian take away and Chinese takeaway (no pub though). The home was clean and has some fantastic views. We would stay there again. There is a hidden gem of a farm shop a few miles up the road, black isle berries is a definite place to check out for local produce.

Lovely seaside stay in a cosy cottage

This is a lovely cottage with beautiful views and access to the sea right in front of the doorstep. The kitchen is well stocked and comfortable sofa area and beds. As mentioned by other reviewers, it really needs a proper table and chair set - we struggled especially with my toddler who doesn&#39t sit still at mealtimes at the best of times!

Fabulous location but uncomfortable beds.

Proximity to the sea. Quiet street. Well equipped kitchen. Beds very soft and caused backache in all 4 of us! More stools for dining table- house sleeps 4 but only 2 stools. Garden needs weeding which detracts from the lovely setting.

Very nice week at the Moray Firth

A small but lovely cottage right on the Moray Firth coastline with a view of Chanonry Point. Very nice neighborhood. The cottage is advertised for 4 people. There are two bedrooms with double beds, but no room for four people to eat. The dining table is foldable and mobile. It has to be rolled into the living room for use. However, when unfolded, it only seats two. In the living room, there are only small side tables, which make eating difficult. I would say this is more of a cottage for two people. We would come again, but only as a couple.

lovely Cottage - lovely view

Awesome small cottage that offers anything you would need. It really has a stunning view on the Moray Firth, even from the bed. The cottage is lovingly furnished and even has a very nice backyard. It´s just a few miles from Inverness so there´s a lot to discover and Avoch itself is a lovely small village. We didn´t want to leave.

Lovingly furnished holiday home in a beautiful location!

Very nicely decorated house in a beautiful location, quietly located in a small village but easy to reach from Inverness. A place to feel good! There are two bedrooms for a total of 4 people. Unfortunately there is only one dining area for 2 inside. This is unfavorable. Especially since this has already been complained about more often.

Comfortable, well- equipped cottage in a super village.

Great location, right on the waterfront. Fantastic views. Good location for travelling around Black Isle and Inverness area. Really liked Avoch as a village - interesting place to walk around and good facilities close by. Host provided plenty of information although it took us a little while to work out the TV. Nothing negative. Absolutely fine for a couple and probably a family with two younger children. Might be bit cramped for four adults. Kitchen and bathroom while fully equipped and functional quite small.

Staying at The Sea Cottage

We had a very good time whilst staying at the Sea Cottage. The location and the view is amazing and parking was always available. The living room was great and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped. The main bedroom had a great view which we enjoyed very much. If I am being honest I would say the beds were not comfortable and very low and soft which we had issues sleeping. Also we found the edges of the bed was quite sharp and need to be very careful when moving around. We also found some hairs on the bath when we first came in and also the underneath the toilet seat wasn’t clean. These are issues we mainly found whilst our stay in Sea Cottage.
