Hello Donna, We would like to once again extend our apologies for the issues you experienced during your stay. Each month we have Florida Pest Control spray all of our units to minimize pests that may hitchhike with luggage or from other pest travel. Unfortunately, because pest control had just come out the day the issue was reported pest control would not return until the scheduled date which was in a few days from the reported issue. It is a top priority for HSRC to make sure all concerns are addressed as swiftly as possible and sometimes an issue can take more than a day to resolve. The pest issue has now been completely resolved. It ended up being an issue with a different unit. Also, as of late 2022, this condo boasts brand new living room furnishings, including a new modern sofa. We hope you will consider visiting us again! We do understand your frustration with travel insurance but to our dismay, we can not overrule their policies. We did check with our staff about the customer service that was provided at the time of check out and the staff member said in the frustration of the moment it was stated by the person checking out that they "were over the stay" and then the guest walked off from the front desk. All team members are required to make sure that any customer service issues remain de-escalated and reported to management for a further resolution for the guest. We are aware that after the initial situation occurred the general manager was sent an email but by that time no further monetary refund could be offered. We do wish this matter could have worked out differently and we will look for better resolutions to tackle situations that may arise like this in the future.
