The cabin is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and quiet.

Had a wonderful time exploring the area and sleeping bear dunes. The cabin was a great location for this. Bruce helped us with many ideas of places to see, and where to go for bike rental and good food and drinks. We explored during the day and went back to the cabin to grill supper and just relax. Would definitely come back.

Perfect cabin in the woods!

  • 5 of 5

My sister, mom and I rented this beautiful cabin for a girl's getaway to Michigan. We couldn't have loved it more! The cabin was spotless and a had a perfect open concept design for our slumber party! It was perfectly situated between Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City, which we visited during our trip. It was so quite and serene, and we were excited to come "home" after our adventures everyday. We will most certainly rent this cabin again. The owners were even kind enough to let us use their Dunes pass to get into the parks. Thank you Bruce and Dawn!

We loved our stay at this comfortable, clean, new cabin!

  • 5 of 5

When we first arrived at the cabin we noticed how cute and well landscaped it was. When we entered, we were really impressed by how clean and new everything was. Even the furniture was extra comfortable. We stayed for 2 nights, and after we checked out we headed to The Grand Traverse Resort and Spa and then Turtle Creek Casino. As soon as we checked into the resort, we both looked at each other and said, "I would rather be back at Bruce and Dawn's place!" It is nice and close to everything you could want to do (shopping, hiking, biking, dining), but without all of the chaos of being in Traverse City. It was pretty rainy throughout our stay, and there were a ton of frogs on the lower driveway. If our daughter was with us she would have loved it! I loved it! Catching frogs out in the rain, what a blast from the past. They also have the cutest, sweet, yellow lab. She reminded me a lot of our yellow lab, Lemon. I really enjoyed petting her while my husband grilled steaks for dinner. I would love to come back.

Beautiful Cabin

  • 4 of 5

This is a very beautiful cabin on beautiful property in a great area and great for a weekend getaway or longer. The owner was very nice and helpful. The cabin is extremely clean and nicely decorated. They do have a lovely pond out back with a dock but we did not get a chance to enjoy sitting out there as we were on the go all the time with all the other activities located in the area.

The only small (note I said small) complaint is that the parking is below and behind the cabin which is not bad during the daylight and if you are able to walk up and down an incline. Since the parking is down a hill and behind I would suggest a light (very dark) on the side of the cabin so when you do come in at night you can see where you are walking (there is not a walkway just grass). We did have a flashlight app on our phone which we used each time we came back from dinner at night and it was definitely needed.

I would still highly recommend this place and the area!

Beautiful home, well furnished, private, good location. Owners were very helpful.

  • 5 of 5

Bruce and Dawn have a hidden gem. The beds and furniture were super comfortable, very clean, and they thought of every little detail. The location is great, central to all the lovely little towns. Stargazing at the end of the pier is not to be missed. My husband and I look forward to coming back to do all the things we couldn't fit in this visit.

Family friendly, relaxing, spotless, surrounded with quiet sound of the pond and forest!

  • 5 of 5

The "cabin" is just minutes from the lake shore, wine tasting and Traverse City adventures

Clean and uniquely furnished and comfortable place to rest after long day.

There are activities in the area for those 2-80 years. Hiking, canoeing, visiting

Sleeping Bear NP and visitor center, etc. The owner are near by to solve most issues.

Our travel group would return!
