PLEASE BE AWARE WHEN BOOKING THAT WE ONLY ACCEPT SATURDAY to SATURDAY RESERVATION JUNE, JULY AND AUGUST.

If by two weeks prior to you wanting to book is open and you want to book a shorter stay that reservation request might be accepted.

This newly remodeled fully furnished 3 bedroom 2 bath cottage home is perfect for anyone wanting to get away to the most desirable area of South Mission Beach. As native San Diegans who moved to northern California for work, we wanted a home we could share with friends and one we could bring our kids to so they could enjoy ALL the great perks San Diego has to offer. We take a tremendous amount of pride in our beach paradise and we want you to feel like you are in your home away from home when you stay here. It's a perfect spot to bring the kids for a family get-a-way or maybe a girls or guys weekend. Perhaps a romantic trip away from the hustle & bustle of home or a climate change. San Diego weather is the BEST in the country all year round! The house sits just steps away from both beauitiful Mission Bay and the sandy beaches of the Pacific Ocean. Take a morning walk on the bayside with your coffee and at night watch the sunset with a glass of wine on the beach. It is in a quiet location surrounded by home owners who live there full time in addition to other beach rentals. You really wouldn't need your car once you arrived because everything is within walking or biking distance. The corner market has everything including supplies, food, and a full service deli. There are restaurants all over the place and a Vons grocery store down the road that will delivery groceries to your door! There is one large carport at the house and a parking lot for other family members or visitors a few yards away. The atmosphere on the bayside is quiet, peaceful, family oriented, and respectful. Beach towels, misc beach fun toys, boogie boards are included for your use. Surfboards, bikes, boats, rollerblades, skateboards, and kayak rentals nearby. Enroll your kids Junior Lifeguards or camps at Mission Bay Aquatic Center. Wavehouse, pool, athletic center and Belmont amusement park are literally across the street. The Beach House came exactly as advertised. Parking was easy, and the layout was perfect for our family. The house was clean, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The location was perfect in that it was quiet and close to the bayside, but just minutes away from the ocean side. Glen (owner) was very attentive and answered any and all questions we had.

Nice & Roomy

It was a really nice place. I just wish I would have known that when it stated AC, it was only for the master bedroom. We had a couple of warm days which made it warm in the house with no AC. Other than that, it was great. Nice and roomy and close to Belmont Park, which the teenagers loved.

Great House by the Bay

This house was so easy for us to stay in. I love the front porch. There were plenty of beach chairs and other needs for the bay/beach. Owners are super nice!

Great place by the water

This house was a great spot for my husband, mother and I. It was so close to the beach and the bay and had all the beach equipment we needed. The house was a little warm but the AC in the master was much appreciated. Location was good and close to lots of restaurants and activities. Thank you for the stay Glen!

Home away from home

I loved our stay. This beach house was very comfortable. Great location, clean, excellent amenities, especially the SAND wagon!! The front patio with it’s lush greens plants surrounds the fire pit seating area; was a favorite hang out. We went the last week of August and the weather was comfortable and the crowds had thinned down. 2 minutes to the lake side and 6 minutes to the ocean! Thank you Glen for allowing us to stay in your home

Perfect 4-night stay

We loved this cozy beach house! Excellent location, comfy furnishings, wonderful all around. We didn’t get to use the fire pit but enjoyed the grill, the beach chairs, boogie board, and well-stocked kitchen. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you, Glen and Barbara!

Overall wonderful property, Great location

The house is in a great location, close to the ocean and bay. Everything was cleaned and stocked for our stay when we arrived. Glenn was very accessible, and quick to answer any questions or concerns. We had a wonderful stay! Only complaint I have is that the house is listed as *NO PETS* but doesn’t mention that theres aminals that perhaps live with the owner when it’s not rented. Being someone with allergies to cats, I experienced some allergic reactions from the pet dander, so just something to be mindful of.

Great location and comfortable for family vacation.

Great location for the San Diego attractions

The property was clean, the location was awesome! We could walk to Mission Bay and the Pacific Ocean, restaurants and amusement park, and it was an easy drive from the airport as well as to Balboa Park with all the museums and the San Diego Zoo. The house was a perfect size for five of us and well stocked with dishes, pots and pans. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book it again if we ever go back to San Diego.

Perfect location and cottage for small family get together.

This was a great place and location. We lived in California when my children were growing up and vacationed in San Diego at the beach. So when my son and grandson in London and my daughter and grand daughter in Fort Worth wanted to meet, we decided San Diego. This cottage has the right amount of space and a comfy patio with gas fired table for cool evenings. Their cousin in Newport came down for the day and their cousin in San Diego came over twice. The location couldn't be better. 1/2 block to bay and 2 blocks to ocean. Good times. We would rent again.

Easy and beautiful

My first time using HomeAway and it was a great experience. The house met expectations, very clean and comfortable. Location ideal if you like to be near the water, everything we wanted was walking distance. The landlord was very organized and communicative, made the experience very easy. Don't be frightened by the deposit, treat the place with respect and you'll have no hassel getting it back.

Great Family Vacation Home

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay! With myself, my husband, three children and my mother - everyone had their own space. The location was calm and safe. Super walkable to Belmont park, markets, coffee spots and restaurants. It was the best of both worlds on the bay and close to the beach. ❤️ We would stay here again for sure!
