The Emma Jeanne guest house at Clare Ranch Vineyard and Winery is located in the exclusive Templeton Gap AVA of the famous Paso Robles West side. The guest house is located on a family run farm in a California agricultural preserve and specializes in growing ultra premium Bordeaux and Rhone grape varieties, as well as, dry farmed walnuts. Many of the walnut trees are over 85 years old. The private guest house feels a world away but is conveniently located only 3.4 miles from Highway 101, Trader Joes, local meat and fish markets. The guest house is an easy yet private hub to all that the Paso Robles area has to offer.

The guest house includes a comfortable living space with leather couches and entertainment center which includes: Direct tv, Blueray disk player, modern record player, and mp3 player. A six person dining area is perfect for small entertaining or family meals. Kitchen includes: dishwasher, gas stove and oven, refridgerator, garbage disposal, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and cooking amenities for most any meal. The master bedroom includes a California King bed, walk in closet, ceiling fan and spectacular 50 mile view. The middle guest bedroom includes a queen size bed and standard closet with a garden and winery view. The third bedroom includes a double bed. Bathroom has a shower and tub, one sink and towel supply. Laundry room includes an LG washer and dryer and basic utility area. Outdoor amenities include a wrap around deck with three benches for endless views and relaxation. Santa Maria Style BBQ with real oak wood for the grill and sitting area. Horse shoe pits and children's swing area are also available upon request. Other amenities include: Air conditioning and heating, wood burning fireplace, ceiling fans (2), modern record player with quality Denon speaker sound.

Relax and enjoy expansive views of Paso Robles wine country and share in part of the laid-back central coast rural lifestyle.

About Property Manager/Owner

Brenden and Carrie Wood own and operate Clare Ranch; a boutique vineyard, winery and walnut property located in the Templeton Gap sub appellation of the Paso Robles AVA. Both Carrie and Brenden graduated from Cal Poly, SLO in the early 2000's. Brenden works among some of the best wine industry professionals as a wine maker for one of the most well known and nationally recognized wineries in central California. He enjoys doing tractor work and maintenance around Clare Ranch in his spare time on the weekends and afternoons. Carrie McDonnell Wood has a PhD in Viticulture from the University of Adelaide, South Australia. She worked as a Viticulturist for 11 years. Carrie now teaches part time at Cal Poly in the Wine and Viticulture department and spends much of her other time managing Clare Ranch and raising their three children.

We were immediately enamored with this property when we first saw it and bought it. Named after the amazing hills and family heritage of Clare County Ireland, this property has spectacular views of all surrounding hills. To the north is a 50 mile view of the Paso Robles basin, west brings the comforting cool breeze of the Cayucos-Morro Bay ocean, and the eastern hills offer a welcoming sunrise to make any morning, a 'good' morning. Clare Ranch offers a beautiful serene setting any season of the year.

Great property. Well equipped and comfortable. Carrie was charming and responsive.

A great family getaway with my daughter and her family, including my two young grandchildren. The house was comfortable and very well stocked as we did cook dinners on a few nights. Will definitely look forward to another visit. Five stars all the way.

Comfortable and secluded. The perfect getaway!

The property was exactly what we were hoping for. A perfect indoor/outdoor living space with an amazing view. I even enjoyed watching 8 deer quietly come through the property early morning while I was enjoying my coffee. we will definitely be back!

Beautiful and comfortable house

The house and setting — spectacular views from the generous deck — are even more fabulous than the photos suggest. No complaints, only a couple of suggestions. It would be nice to have some comfortable deck chairs. Also the lighting inside could be better; it was hard to read in parts of the house. That said, this is a wonderful place and we are eager to return.

The view overlooking the walnut farm is breathtaking. Bedrooms are roomy and have adorable decor. Kitchen is fully stocked. Property is extremely clean. Can't wait to visit again.
