About this property

Updated A-frame ski chalet...Walk to Nubs Nob!

Newly updated, fresh and airy ski chalet! Enjoy the best the area has to offer. Winter is skiing Nubs Nob or Boyne Highlands, Xcountry skiing many of the great trails nearby, fat biking or simply getting cozy by the fire with a book. Summer is golf, mountain biking, boating, road biking or hiking. The chalet has a huge deck over the garage and is suitable for morning coffee or a relaxing happy hour.

We are located 10 minutes from both Harbor Springs and Petoskey where you’ll find plenty of great shopping and dining opportunities.

The chalet has a queen bed downstairs and a full bath. Upstairs, you’ll find a loft with a bunk bed and 2 twin beds. Both twin beds have pull out trundle beds. The second bedroom has a queen bed. There is also a full bath upstairs.

We are 35 minutes from the Mackinac Bridge. Why spend island prices when a day trip is so easy from here? Other areas of interest are Tunnel of Trees, Legs Inn and Pond Hill Farm to name a few.

Charming cabin -- just right!

This is a cozy cabin in the woods -- a perfect place to relax, and also a good home base for exploring the area. It was clean, tidy, and charming. Just right!

Lovely forest retreat

We had a wonderful long weekend at Pattie’s chalet. It was extremely clean, the beds were comfortable, and chalet had a super comfortable vibe overall. We went in the summer and loved happy hour in the big deck. It would definitely be beautiful during the winter as well.

Great place. Great location

Our family of 4 wanted to find a place in between mackinac and petoskey and we found this beautiful place in harbor springs right near nubs nob ski resort. This place was perfect for us. The place was very clean and the beds were very comfortable! While we did bring some of our own stuff what was very nice was this place had some of the basic essentials already stocked which was super convenient. We enjoyed the beach in charlevoix, searching for petoskey stones in petoskey and exploring mackinac island which was all within a short drive. We also enjoyed hiking the local trials at petoskey state park as well as the thorne nature preserve. It is just beautiful up here and would definitely stay here again!

So close to Nubs Nob!

We had an awesome stay at the A-Frame. More than enough room for the four of us. So close to Nubs Nob, and the Highlands was only a 5 min drive. Very quiet neighborhood will definitely look to come back next year.

Owners are so great to work with and responded promptly when I couldn't figure out the wifi. We love the area and this is our favorite place to stay when we visit the petoskey/harbor springs area!

Lovely! Just Lovely!!!

This property is set in a incredibly peaceful and serene area. My family enjoyed games on the deck and we spent each day traveling to a different tourist city and the cottage is perfectly situated between Petoskey and Harbor Springs. Also enjoyed golfing, the beach, Mackinaw and Charlevoix. We had a wonderful summer ‘up north’ get-away!

The perfect size for a weekend away with a couple of friends. It had all the kitchen tools to make breakfast and dinner, the bed setups were perfect, and the fireplace really made game night feel cozy!

The Best Place to Stay!

We loved our stay at the Ski Chalet! Super clean and cozy. We had the gas fireplace going every morning and every evening. Good Wifi for the kids. Well stocked with linens & kitchen stuff. Comfortable furniture & beds. Easy drives to Petoskey or the Tunnel of Trees. Can't wait to stay there again!

Beautiful Chalet

This property was amazing! The chalet was clean, well decorated and had all the comforts of home. We had a wonderful time in this cozy cabin and completely enjoyed our stay! Coffee on the huge deck overlooking the wooded area was one of our favorite parts of the morning. We were so impressed and would highly recommend booking this chalet to anyone vacationing in the area. 😊

A peaceful ending to our Michigan road trip

After several days of traveling the upper peninsula, we arrived at the A frame for two days of exploration of the Harbor springs area. We found the chalet the perfect place to relax and rewind before returning home. The space was cozy and comfortable, decorated in what my daughter positively described as IKEA There was a fire pit with wood, a wonderful outdoor deck area, and complete peace and quiet, even though within range of other ski chalets. We really enjoyed the area, and our experience at this place. We would definitely return!!!!

Great Getaway

Our family of four had such a lovely time in this clean, cozy chalet. We had mixed weather during our stay -- the house was perfect for relaxing and watching movies while it rained, and it was easy to get to Petoskey State Park, Mackinaw City and other great destinations when the weather was nice. Beautiful deck, lots of windows, and a wonderful modern vibe. We'll be back!

Ski escape from the city!

I love everything about this cozy A frame! It was a perfect place for a long weekend away from the city to ski. We were able to easily go back and forth to Nubs Nob. The kids loved that they could safely ski home at the end of their day if they wanted to stay longer. We had beautiful snow making it so hard to leave this cozy little cabin. Can't wait to rent it again with the family. Thank you for sharing your place!

All around great
