Perfect Northern Michigan summer getaway—just 5 minutes to Highlands golf, 10 minutes to Harbor Springs, 15–20 minutes to Petoskey, and 40 minutes to Mackinaw City.

Cozy, clean, and comfortable with space for up to 4 guests. Close to beaches, biking, dining, and shopping—while still offering a quiet place to relax.

This unit is a single level layout with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom (toilet and shower), along with a separate in room sink for added convenience.

• Fast self check-in + easy parking
• Fully equipped kitchen for meals at home
• Close to golf, beaches, biking, and downtowns

Good to know
Host lives in the unit above with two friendly dogs. You may occasionally hear normal household noise.

Clean, well supplied with tissue, TP and even some white noise machines if you’re a light sleeper. Very close to Nubs, don’t think anything is closer! Lynn was easy to work with and I’d rent again!

Great place to stay if you are boarding or skiing at Nub's Nob. The host was very responsive great to work with. The unit is literally steps away across the street from Nub's - so you can ski in the am, go have lunch at the unit, and ski well into the evening. I also like the two individual bathrooms for those "special" times you do not want to share with anyone else. We will be back!

We chose this neighborhood for its deep roots in Harbor Springs' ski history and its unbeatable proximity to the slopes. The Lamplighter has long been part of the local ski culture dating back to the 1960's and 70's, when Dean Shorter and generations of skiers helped shaped the area into the destination it is today. My own grandfather skied here and spent time at this very property during those early years, which makes hosting guests especially meaningful to us. Today, the location still offers that same easy access to Nubs Nob and The Highlands, paired with a quiet, tucked- away setting that's perfect for relaxing after a day on the hill.

The Lamplighter has been a gathering place for skiers for decades, and that sense of warmth and tradition still carries through.
