Impresionantes vistas a la montaña en un pintoresco campo de golf en la región vinícola del valle de Yadkin

Acogedor y tranquilo refugio junto a la montaña con vistas a la Blue Ridge Parkway. Relájate junto al fuego y observa cómo se pone el sol con una copa de vino de una de las muchas bodegas locales. Hay aproximadamente 30 dentro de 30 millas. Desde la casa hay solo 3 millas hasta la entrada trasera del Parque Estatal Stone Mountain, donde puedes caminar por una variedad de senderos, uno que conduce a la cima de la cúpula de granito, y varios conducen a hermosas cascadas. Disfrute de una ronda de golf de montaña en Stone Mountain Resort Golf Club. La casa se encuentra justo por encima del noveno tee en la comunidad de la montaña Greenstreet.
Hemos traído el exterior con enormes ventanas para disfrutar de la vista de las montañas Blue Ridge. Acogedora sala de estar con techo abovedado, chimenea de piedra de Carolina del Norte con inserto de gas ventilado. Cocina totalmente equipada con capacidad para 6 a 8. Un dormitorio principal arriba (reina) y dos abajo (uno con cama de matrimonio y el otro con dos gemelos). Baño completo en cada nivel. Grandes pantallas en la habitación con luz de ventilador y amplia terraza fuera de la sala de estar, ambas tienen vistas a la montaña. Gran área de fogatas con lecho de roca de río, borde de piedra y sillas Adirondack. Pequeño patio fuera de la sala protegida con asientos y una parrilla de gas weber (propano incluido).
¡Se han agregado amplificadores de teléfono celular y WI-FI!

Dawn responded Immediately to all of our questions prior to our visit. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked with every spice you could imagine; even flour and sugar. The view from the deck is fantastic if somewhat limited by tree foliage on one side. Great for sunset lovers. The entire panorama is visible from the back yard. The location is very private - no neighbors on either side. Wildlife abounds!

They thought of everything! Very well stocked - right down to the quality of the coffee! Kitchen incredibly well stocked.Beautiful, comfortable house with lots of space.Gracious, helpful host who responded quickly and warmly to my few questions.Quiet, bucolic setting….Cannot say enough about this wonderful home.BTW, we stayed during MerleFest, about a 40 min drive but totally worth it!! :)

Wonderful house

We had a wonderful stay! The house was perfect, loved sitting on the top deck with coffee in morning. We got to see deer everywhere! Very nice golf course. Walking distance to the club house. Very close to the Stone Mountain state park. We will definitely rent again!

Long weekend getaway

Perfect spot for a golf weekend with the guys

Sitting right above the 9th tee box on Stone Mountain Golf Club, it was the perfect spot for our group of golf nuts. Everyone in the group loved the house and had an amazing time. And it's so close to the clubhouse that the golf course let us hold on to our carts for the weekend for transportation to and from the course each day. We hadn't even checked out before the group had already starting talking about staying here again. We can't wait!

Fantasic Family Vacation

Dawn deserves every great review she has received....The house is very comfortable, sparkling clean and is equipped with everything a guest might need.......... even a back scratcher :). Our family of 5 adults enjoyed hiking 3 trails with beautiful waterfalls and vistas, visiting 4 local wineries and attending the Elkin Big Band concert, a fund raiser for the music school in Elkin. We are sure the many deer in the neighborhood are a nuisance to the residents, but we enjoyed watching them, especially the babies while relaxing on one of the two porches. Thank you very much Dawn, your vacation home is very inviting :)..........

Amazing Property with Breathtaking Views

We had a girl's trip for the Yadkin Valley Wine Festival this past weekend and this property was perfect! The beds were very comfy, and the outdoor spaces were great as there was a huge open deck upstairs and a screened in patio downstairs. Both of these areas offered AHHHMAZING views of the mountains and a gorgeous sunset! There's also a lounge downstairs that had a fridge and even more seating. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the fire pit, but it was a beautiful setting! This place is a little piece of heaven, and we can't wait to visit again! p.s. look up Yadkin Wine Shuttle and let Rufus take care of your transportation to the wineries! He is awesome!

Ever Changing View

Very nice place to relax and enjoy the views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The view changes based on the time of the day and the weather. We were there during leaf off (April). The view we observed will be blocked a bit by trees with leaves. The drive down seems shorter than the ride up. It's paved pretty much right to the driveway. We brought a motorcycle trailer and the driveway clearance was a few inches in/out...be warned on this minor obstacle to a wonderful location.

Another perfect stay

I had a second delightful stay at this house in mid-March. Dawn is an extraordinary host; you can feel the love she pours into hosting. She's thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. I wouldn't be surprised if she managed to coordinate the dusting of snow we woke up to -- that provided an idyllic setting for our leisurely breakfast, but magically disappeared before we ventured out for the day. We had a wonderful stay. We exhausted ourselves climbing the 30-million-year-old granite dome at the park. We made s'mores under a star-filled sky. We shared a meal cooked in a ridiculously equipped kitchen. We greeted a deer family who wandered into the back yard. We visited Elkin for a laugh-filled wine tasting and meal. We made tons of lasting memories. I look forward to sharing Dawn's lovely home and mmy favorite hike at Stone Mountain with more friends and family in the future!

Mountain retreat

Wonderful mountain getaway

Dawn was the perfect hostess. We were greeted by a basket of fall goodies, and an autumn decorated beautiful cabin with a wonderful view. If you are looking for a quiet, comfy mountain getaway, this is the place.

Perfect home while visiting Stone Mountain

Fantastic stay for our weekend getaway. House was extremely clean and well-appointed. We enjoyed the fabulous views from the deck, porch and fire pit areas. Communication with the owner was perfect. I can’t think of a detail that was overlooked.

Third time renter and still absolutely love this place

We returned with our adult children for a third stay to enjoy the mountains and hiking at Stone Mountain State Park. Every time we have stayed, the house has been very clean and well stocked. It is nice not to worry about bringing all the miscellaneous items. Just bring your food and beverages and everything else you need is there. All the switches are labeled in an non-obnoxious way, so it is easy to figure everything out and just enjoy. We will be back again, no doubt! Very nice decor and great fire pit area. P.S. This is the only VRBO we have returned to more than once. We have had zero issues with this rental.
