Vila Niki is only 4 meters from the azure sea in Soline, Dugi otok. The stylish style in which white dominates makes the visitor wishing he could stay there for ever. The villa is adorned with a large terrace from which you can watch wonderful sunsets in the evening while drinking great wine. The villa has a living room on the ground floor with a kitchen and a small toilet. Bamboo stairs will take you to the upper floor with two rooms. Since we want the most for our guests, a bathroom is available in both rooms. There is a shower in one bathroom, in the other, however, there is an aromatic bath in which you can relax. The villa can accommodate four guests, while an additional bed in the living room offers a pleasant sleep to the fifth guest. There is an exit to the balcony from both rooms that offers a view of the nearby and remote islands. We also offer our guests an outdoor shower which you can use to refresh or just to wash the sea salt from your body. The owner will also gladly prepare you dinner according to your wishes. Pizza from our outdoor oven is reminiscent of a kind, that you can find in only in the homeland of pizza, Italy. Outdoor oven, grill and pool at the neighbouring villa can be used by our guests indefinitely. The host will gladly take you to a day trip on a boat and show you the hidden corners and beautiful little beaches where intimacy will be guaranteed. The excursion price is not included in the roaming price. Look at the pictures. They tell you all.

THE PRICE OF RENTING VILA INCLUDES:

living, bedding, towels, kitchen utensils, wifi, use of outdoor showers, pool, grill , welkome dinner and daily attention of the host, that is bottle of Slovenian, TOP withe wine, Malvasia. The car park is next to the house. Our guests can borrow two brand new mountain bikes and visit the most hidden parts of the island.

PLACE SOLINE AND WHAT CAN YOU FIND IN:

Soline is a small quiet place for which some say, that because of its tranquility and quietness, it was forgotten by God. If you need a holiday where you can regenerate your mind and body, this is a true paradise for you. A well stocked store is available, where you can also make your purchase with a payment card. In the vicinity of Veli Rat and Božava (distance cca 4 km) there are also post office, cash dispenser and some restaurants with excellent food and a pizzeria. A doctor is available in Božava. You can also indulge yourself in massages in Božava's hotel.
In Zaglav, 45 km away from Soline, there is a gas station. In Zaglav, you can also be spoiled with massages at the salon Martina. She also offers you pedicure and manicure.
Sali, which is 50 km from Soline, is the largest city on the island. In the town, you can afford excellent ice cream and purchase some homemade pastry goods in a bakery. You can even go on a trip to the beautiful national park Kornati ( The island has many interesting places worth visiting. Beach Sakarun ( one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the Adriatic sea, is only a 10-minute walk from your stay. Of course, you can also drive by car or bicycle, so you will be there faster. At our end of the island, where we offer you a stay, you can also see a sunken ship and a magnificent lighthouse that adorns the northernmost part of the island. Besides bathing pleasures Dugi otok also offers the possibility of cycling, mountaineering, rock climbing, diving and tasting of wonderful Mediterranean dishes.
If you visit natural park Telascica ( you will be enchanted by a sweet lake at its top. The stairwayto the top is suitable for walking and cycling.
Brbinščica ( will reveal the natural pools filled with sea. Under the pool there is a canal through which you can reach the cave or the open sea. For divers, this can be a real pleasure. All others can swim in the pool and watch the divers move.

HOW TO REACH US:

If you are coming along the highway choose the exit from the Zadar 2 motorway (Gaženica), which will bring you directly to the ferry port, called Gaženica. The ferry journey takes 1h and 40 minutes. In the summer months, we advise you to be on the ferry port an hour or an hour and a half before departure. At the ferry port, there is a bar where you can get a refreshment and a great shopping center where you can make some purchases before boarding the ferry. The ferry in the summer months drives to the island and from the island 3 times daily. Connection to the ferry:
If you are coming to the island without a car you can board on a hydrogliser in Zadar old city centre, that will lead you to Božava, Zaglav or Sali. landing in Božava or landing in Zaglav, Sali Of course, in this case, we will be happy to come pick you up.
Besides the car you can reach Zadar by a catamaran from Rijeka, a bus or an airplane landing at the Zadar airport. In case you will arrive by plane, we can arrange for you taxi service to the ferry port of Gaženica. From Ancona, you can reach Zadar by ferry three times a week.

USEFUL INFORMATION:

As you go on your vacation to the island, we would like to give you some useful information.
The island does not have its own water supply system, so all households are supplied with rainwater or water supplied by the ship. We advise you not to drink these waters because an organism, that is not used to rain, can react with resistance. Fruits and vegetables can be bought in limited quantities because the island does not have its own production. You can buy frozen meat in our store or fresh in Sali. In any case, a visit to the Zadar market is a special event before coming to the island, because you can buy premium vegetables, fruits and fish there.
National currency is KUNA.
From the locals you can buy olive oil produced on the island and sweetened with honey of domestic production without additives. Travarica is a spirit drink produced from plants and grasses that grow on the island.

Wonderful shrimps and fresh fish can be enjoyed in Zaglav in Konoba Roko.

In Žman you can taste and buy homemade sheep cheese.

There is a diving center in Božava, where you will be happily taken to the most beautiful corners of the sea.
In the camp Mandarino you can rent a bike or an electric bike in addition to a soup and canoe. In addition to top espresso, they offer excellent desserts, including Queen Tiramissu. Their restaurant located right beside the sea, is intended also for guests who are not guests of the camp.

You can arrange a one-day guided excursion with canoe at the Kargita Camp.

Tourist tax for an adult is 1,50€ per day, and for children 0,80€ per day and is not included in the rental price.

The security is 500 € and it will be deposited on the day of arrival at the host. It can be used in the event of damage to the villa.
