Beach Block, ground floor, no steps! Now booking Summer 2026!
805 5th Street, Ground Floor, Ocean City, NJ. BEACH BLOCK, NO STEPS! Great for those with mobility issues, or anyone who doesn't want to deal with steps & stairs!
We have a fenced backyard with enclosed outdoor shower, 2 parking spaces, beach tags for your entire party, and a beach cart for you to use during your stay.
MOST IMPORTANT - we are continuing the stringent cleaning and disinfecting that we implemented in 2020 & continued through 2025. We have a cleaning crew that works ONLY FOR US on Saturday changeovers! They empty and disinfect the kitchen cupboards, run all the dishes through the dishwasher, and spray down each mattress with a disinfectant spray. (The mattresses have zipped up covers on them already.) We supply you with professionally laundered mattress pads for each rental. You can bring your own pillows, or we will supply them - brand new. (We are asking tenants to bring their own blankets, comforters, and towels. We will be glad to refer you to a professional rental service for these items if you wish.) Each rental gets 2 new shower curtains & curtain rings, and freshly laundered bathmats and oven mitts. And the cleaning crew has a 3-page check list of items and areas that were cleaned and disinfected, which they leave behind for the incoming tenant. (See the checklist at the end of this description.)
We do everything we can to make sure your unit is as clean as possible! And since we (the owners) live upstairs full time, we will be overseeing each cleaning.
And now, what about the unit? This is a beautifully renovated 3 bedroom 2 bath beach-block condo, with 2 off-street parking spaces. Sleeps 9. (Condo features a gorgeous kitchen with beautiful quartz counters, a built-in microwave, gas stove & oven, refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, and dishwasher. The lovely living room has a queen size sleeper sofa, loveseat, chair, and a 39' hdtv. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and a private bath with stall shower. Bedroom 2 has a full bed and a twin pull-out. Bedroom 3 has two twin beds. Each bedroom has its own flat screen TV with cable. Free Wifi is provided too! Fenced backyard with a gas grill for all those summer meals. Enclosed outdoor shower with hot & cold water - no waiting for the shower after the beach! Covered front porch with table & chairs for drinks after a day by the ocean. Covered bike rack & storage shed for all your gear. This is a ground floor unit. Our ceiling height is 6'9', and there are no stairs to deal with! The beach and boardwalk are at the end of the block. Take a walk, run or bike ride on the boardwalk in the morning, enjoy the beautiful beaches by day, and head back to the boardwalk at night for a stroll, the rides, or some dinner. Or, just relax on the shaded front porch and watch the world go by. Easy walk to downtown. The weekly summer Farmer's Market at the Tabernacle is just down the block. Tennis, shuffleboard, and the Ocean City Skateboard Park can all be found off 5th Street! Atlantic City night life just 20 minutes away, or head over the 9th Street Bridge to Somers Point.
A BIG plus - the owners live upstairs year-round. We are here to oversee every turnover, and we make sure the place is spotless for your arrival. No surprises when you check in. And if you have an issue during your stay, we are right here. In addition, since we are the upstairs residents, you don't need to worry about the "upstairs neighbors" making noise, etc. We want our guests to have a wonderful vacation.

Cleaning Checklist

After each rental, all areas of the unit are thoroughly cleaned first, then disinfected using EPA registered disinfectants, Lysol spray, bleach solution, etc., as appropriate for the area and/or item to be cleaned. Mattress pads from previous tenant are removed and returned to professional laundry service. Mattress covers are sprayed with disinfectant.
Cleaners will check off each item after cleaning/disinfecting is completed, and leave completed check list for new tenant.

a. Love Seat - Cleaned under cushions. Surfaces sprayed with disinfectant. Moved and cleaned underneath & behind sofa.
b. Sleeper Sofa - Cleaned under cushions. Bed opened, inspected. Mattress cover disinfected. Surfaces sprayed with disinfectant. Moved and cleaned underneath and behind sofa.
