Very clean and cozy ! Loved the peace and quiet of “Up North” and the nature was beautiful . Higgins Lake didn’t disappoint - clean blue water & friendly atmosphere . We’ll be back !

Love this spot!

Had a wonderful long weekend here with my wife and 8 year old son. The house was clean and exactly as described. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and cozy little house. This was our second stay at this property and we will definitely stay again. Recommend it very highly.

The Chalet was incredibly clean and it had all the items we needed. We really appreciated the comfortable beds and the room darkening blinds in the bedrooms. Our hosts were very communicative and made sure the check in to see if we need anything. We would recommend this house.

Great place

Stayed here several times and always a great experience. Darla is easily reached and answers any questions. We come up and hunt so we are not the typical renters but it’s a perfect place for us

Cozy comfort

This place has everything that we wanted. A comfortable, quiet cabin close to the lakes and trails that we enjoy so much. This was our second trip to this cabin and look forward to returning soon.

Cute Little Cabin

Very clean, cute little cabin. Super close to the beach, had all accommodations you could need during your stay. Great communication with Darla during our stay. Neighbors close by but they werent a bother. We really enjoyed our vacation.

Weekend in Roscommon

We traveled to the area to visit friends. This rental was close to where we needed to be. Conveniently located and VERY clean! We were only there two nights this trip but would gladly stay again.

Lil cabin in the woods

Loves this place. It was a perfect week and grateful we rented it since the weather was a bit rainy all week. Better than tenting. The owners were great and very friendly. Had no problems at all! Thank you Darla & Kevin.

Nice Cabin

The cabin is very nice. We stayed for a guys weekend. There was 5 of us and everyone fit comfortably. The fire pit outside was nice for the nights we were there. Everything was very clean and taken care of.

Memorial Wkend Getaway 2024

The cabin was very well maintained and cozy. Everything was accurately described in the listing. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were fresh clean. I liked that there was a tv in the bedroom as well as the livingroom. The wood throughout the cabin was very beautiful. During our stay we went to Mackinaw City/Mackinac Bridge, Sea Shell City, Hartwick pines and Higgins State Park. The location of the cabin was perfect for sightseeing or just relaxing. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you Kevin & Darla for letting us enjoy your beautiful cabin.

Pictures Don’t Do It Justice!

We LOVED everything about this place. The pictures posted were good but when we arrived we were amazed at just how nice it was! Very very clean, well stocked, spacious and comfortable! The neighborhood was quiet and friendly and being tucked back in the trees made it feel very private. Host was easy to contact and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely come again.

The cleanest place you will ever find!!

Our stay was great! The cabin was incredibly clean. I felt like I was at home! My husband and I still comment how clean it was!! It had everything you could possibly need! Darla and Kevin were great hosts! Communication was a 10/10 for sure! We loved the location also! We spent one afternoon at Higgins lake, we went to traverse city a couple days, and the other days we just kinda explored! The 1 and only thing we wish was different was the couch. It seemed pretty old and just was not comfortable enough to be able to sit and watch a movie at night. Other than that everything was perfect!!! I’d definitely recommend staying with Kevin and Darla!!

Great, clean house near Higgins

Our family enjoyed our weekend away. The house was clean and comfy. We enjoyed the fire pit and how close it was to Higgins for boating. We would definitely recommend this house. Darla and Kevin gave great instructions and recommendations around town. Thank you!

Great little Cabin!

Great place! Quiet and clean. Place was very clean and smelled great (sounds weird but you will see). Everything we needed was there. While we did not spend a ton of time there (we were visiting friends at other sites as well) the place worked very well for our needs. Even though it was very warm, the AC worked well. Close to North State park.

Little cabin in the woods

We had a great stay! We had family on the lake down the street. I always travel with child knobs for doors. And glad I do. The room that had the bunk beds had 2 doors that my little guy could have maneuvered outside without us knowing.

We had a great stay at Darla and Kevin's. They were proactive at staying in touch and asking if we needed anything. The cabin is clean, everythng works and the interior is visually pleasing. We spent much of our time at a family reunion so didnt have time to tool around the area much, but we appreciate all the suggestions about what was available for touring, dining, swiming,etc. I would stay there again, and likely will.
