This place was perfect! Can't wait to book another stay at this beach house!

This immaculate home had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. Since we were traveling with 4 children, it was so nice to be able to grab groceries and eat most of our meals at the house. My husband got lots of use out of the grill on the back deck. When looking for a place to book, the biggest draw for me was that this owner allowed up to 2 pets and the rental included a fenced in backyard for our 2 dogs. When we got there, however, I fell in love with the place. Cozy, yet spacious, and really had a beachy, "I am on vacation" feel. We loved being so close to the beach, and Bicentennial Park was right around the corner which had a big tarp-covered playground for the kids and a huge dog park for our dogs. We cannot wait to re-book this same spot!

House - Perfect - Welcoming

This home is so colorful and decorated so nicely, there should be no disappointment to rent for a month. First class owner and we sure appreciated the charm and location. Location is awesome, you can walk to the ocean, a dog park very close. Local eateries and within a few miles you can be in Daytona. All the amenities were available and then some, wifi, and keyless entry. The owner Linda was friendly and called to make sure we were ok. We hope to rent again sometime. Can't beat the rate and the neighborhood. Loved Silk Oaks!

A Great Place to Stay!

This spotless, spacious home was a great place for our vacation! So close to both the beach and the river, we had fun roaming the beach and using the kayaks on the river. The beds were huge and super comfortable. The kitchen was just large enough for us and had all the cookware we needed. With the deck, the garage, the yard, and the big living room, we never felt crowded. We couldn't have asked for a better place.

Best Vacation House

This is the best vacation house I’ve had the pleasure to visit in my yearly trips to Daytona . Very comfortable, just felt like home . Had more extras than you could expect. No corners cut here, very clean and ready to start living the fun Vacation life when you walk in the door. Linda is a great host and really cares for your comfort, you will not be disappointed and will not want to leave.

The perfect house for our getaway!

This house was perfect for our Spring break getaway. We enjoyed how cozy and beachy the house felt. Linda put a lot of thought into equipping the house with everything we needed to fully enjoy the house and the beach. It was within walking distance to both the beach and the inlet. Both places were never crowded which was a huge plus! Having access to kyacks was a treat! We took the kyacks out to a sand bar and found amazing shells! The deck was perfect for grilling fresh shrimp from Hull's seafood market which was just a short drive away from the house. At the end of the day it was nice to relax in our rooms and watch roku on the large flat screen tv's. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again!

Very beautiful home, relaxing and inviting

Our family had a wonderful time on vacation while staying at silk oaks. The home was beautiful and inviting, and even our furry baby loved it. We would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful affirdable vacation with beach access. Linda was super easy to work with, and extremely helpful.

Very clean, very close to beach, very quiet area.

We enjoyed our stay at Silk Oaks very much. There was all the cooking items, a grill on back deck towels and pillows galore. The beach only a 2 or 3 blocks away. There is hiking trail just blocks away also. Great area. Loved everything about the house.

Totally Pleased!

Immaculately clean, well stocked Kitchen, quiet neighborhood, compfy bed, very short walk to the beach for those incredible sunrises. Nice deck and privacy fenced back yard made it stress free for me and my little dog. Minor glitch figuring out the TV but the owner was right on it and immediately resolved. Beach bikes and kayaks available. Be aware upfront that pets are not allowed on the furniture. All in all, I was totally pleased.

Silk Oaks Beach Cottage

Our family spends a week at Ormond Beach every year for 25 years and this year was the best at Silk Oaks.. The cottage was easy to find, close to the ocean and great places to eat and shop. The home was the cleanest and most comfortable we have ever stayed at. Big comfortable beds, luxury linens and a great kitchen. The yard was securely fenced so our little pet could not get away. Linda LeBlond was so helpful with details and made us feel welcome. We intend to visit again as often as possible.

Home away from home!

We had everything we needed at 24 Silk Oaks Drive. Linda was very helpful, allowing us to check in a little early. We were able to bring our lovely dogs. They enjoyed the fenced backyard and the beach too. Although we saw signs further down the road that said no dogs allowed we didn’t see any where we were so we went ahead and took them to the beach. Nobody complained and we all enjoyed the beautiful and clean beach! There’s plenty of little homey restaurants and bars nearby(we walked to them more than once) and the publix is right up the road. We plan on coming back to this home in the future for sure!!

Everything was wonderful! The home had all we needed for our stay, we didn’t even need to bring beach chairs. Linda was super nice and allowed us to check in about an hour before our checkin time. We would love to come stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay at 24 Silk Oak drive!

We had a wonderful stay in the house. It was very clean and well stocked with tons of towels, sheets, pillows, and bedspreads!!! All the linens smelled nice and clean. The house was spacious and had plenty of room for my large family to stretch out and sleep. The kids loved the large TV's in each bedroom and living room and adored the beach bikes!!!The deck, screened room and grill were a plus!! We will be back and refer our friends!

Great Beach Getaway!

My family and I stayed in this house in the early spring and absolutely loved it! The first thing we noticed was how bright and clean the place was. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, some condiments, and even cold bottled water upon our arrival. The colors in this place are fun and bright and gives you that relaxing beach feel. Beach is roughly 8 houses down the road, we could hear the ocean in the front yard! The house has so many amenities that are included in the stay, which saved us so much money. We'll be staying here again next trip down south. Thanks for the great vacation!

Outstanding location, Clean, Comfortable, 100% Legit!!!

If you love the beach, fishing, kayaking, or just taking it really easy then this property is PERFECT!!! This house sits right between the Halifax River and the Beach. Both are walking distance and have private access. The river access was under repair when I visited but there is another pier just down the street to the south that offered very nice views of the sunset as I pierced the lips on a few different species of fish. The beach access has benches for watching the sunrise or just chillin' and getting the lungs full of that awesome salt air. I walked several miles of beach here and saw only a few other people and the beach was clean and beautiful. The house is very clean and nicely decorated, I would not mind owning it myself! I highly recommend staying here, I was not disappointed!!!!!
