There is a greenway to walk, run , or ride only 1 block away. There is a big park 3-4 blocks away.
There are 250 Restaurants, Bars, and Pubs, delis, Nightclubs, coffee houses within a 5 mile radius.
Downtown Charlotte is 1.1 miles away. and is exciting 24-7-365.
There is the bus directly to the airport that runs every 30 minutes for less then $3.00, and is on Morehead, between GrandonSt. and Summit ave, 2 blocks away. Uber Cars show up in less than 4-5 minutes and you can go anywhere at any time for $5-$10.
You can walk to the NFL Panthers games, Charlotte MLS Soccer team the Charlotte FC, Charlotte Hornets NBA, and the Charlotte Knights, AAA baseball year around.
Many concerts festivals and 10 museums are within 1-2 miles. Also close to 3 convention centers and 45 hotels and ect.

The Neighborhood:
Wesley Heights Historic District is a national historic district located at Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 335 contributing buildings in the former streetcar suburb of Wesley Heights. It was developed after 1911 and includes notable examples of Bungalow / American Craftsman, Colonial Revival, and Tudor Revival style architecture. Notable buildings include the Wesley Heights Methodist Episcopal Church (now Greater Bethel A. M. E. Church) designed by architect Louis H. Asbury, St. Mark's Baptist Church (formerly St. Andrew's Episcopal Church), Bomar Apartments (1928), and the Wadsworth House (1911) and Catawba Apartments also designed by Louis H. Asbury.
This house is in the heart of the Historic district.
It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

Streetcars are now operational and this home is just a couple of blocks away from the station.

Getting Around:
Plenty of parking at the house for 2-4 cars. Maybe you don't need a car either. A few busses are within a block, if your an international traveler. You can take a $5.00 to $7.00 Uber or Lyft drive to downtown. But this area is the epicenter of Charlotte. within 5 miles are 300, restraints, bars, pubs, cafes, bistros, shopping and ect. Its less than a mile to downtown and the NFL Panther stadium and the baseball stadium. . We have the greenway only 1/2 block away that goes 3-5 miles east or west of the house. to downtown for biking or Jogging. Walking to 25 bars, breweries, delis, and restaurants within 2/3rd of a mile, a few blocks.. . You can walk to or from downtown in 10 minutes or so (1-1.6 miles.) There are bike rentals all over the neighborhood. close to the airport, 2 bib best and busiest airport in America. Maybe you don't even need a car if you are doing things within 2-3 miles of downtown. Airport is close and there is an airport express bus for only $2.50 each way.

Street cars (trolleys) are now operational!
It comes every 20 mins. So, if you miss the trolly, just wait and another one will be there.

Other Things to Note:
No smoking, no cigars, no Hookahs, and no vaping in the unit at all.

The house has three lovely beautiful fireplaces, they're there for as beauty and room focus points, purposes only. Never ever use the fireplaces. If you're here for a long time, the living room fireplace, you could put a couple candles in there. That's all.

The house has an amazing King bed in the master bedroom. The middle bedroom has a full bed. In the front bedroom has a queen bed. Also if needed, there is a sleeper sofa in living room, there's also a real comfortable sleeper sofa in the sunroom (and Linens and pillows).

When you check in, we provide enough toilet paper, and paper towels for a week. We also provide dishwashing detergent, cleaning products, vacuum, broom, mop, most of which can be found in the hallway closet.

We also generally supply a small amount of snacks and if you bottles of water.

Rule #1 Instant book is not available for any more then 30 days in advance. if over 30 days in advance your Instabook will be canceled. sorry can't book instant-book at this property that far in advance. This is a rule not to be broken, and is non negotiable and will be canceled if over 30 days in advance. Sorry.
PETS:
If any pets show up they are treated like extra guest if they are pre-negotiated and or allowed. and an additional fee of $10 a night per pet.
and an additional pet fee, that MUST be negotiated before booking. If not done before Check in its $200 pet fee.
Furnished home with full kitchen, just bring your own food. There will usually be some spices, and some common condiments. Feel free to use, add to and replace any you use.

Parking is included for 2 cars, tandem in driveway. But the home is on a corner and can park 3+ cars or a Truck and trailer, even a motorhome. Plenty of parking.

Electric is included as long as monthly bill does not exceed $125 any excess will be taken from deposit.. Please turn off, or way down Air-conditioning, and Heating while gone from unit during the day. That would be appreciated. Helps keep the nightly rate down.

When Guest leaves, on departure day they Must put the Towels in the washing machine, wash, and start the drying process on the towels before they leave. Or you will be charged $20 to do the laundry out of your deposit. This keeps the Cleaning fee you agreed to, lower, as long as you wash the towels so they can be turned over quickly.
Tenant to clean up and remove all trash, and leave towels washed (if possible).
Please wash all plates, glasses, pans, dishes used by Starting the dishwasher before check out.
Please remove Perishable items out of refrigerator and to the trash
If you stay over a week: Trash needs to go out every Wednesday night for Thursday Pickup, The trash can is outside the patio in back. if your there. Just roll it out 10 feet to the sidewalk. and back, after trash is picked up on Thursdays.
Also have the trash rolled out when you leave. Trash is outside of the kitchen door.

Smart TV's: You can use YOUR NETFLIX, amazon, hulu, disney, whatever account at the property on the fancy new digital TV's. there is 3 smart TV's. Wi-fi is included. But we all dislike Time warner and its service.. lol. Local tv channels are on the TV with a digital feed, or Antenna. IF you stay over a month or more you can at your own expense add Cable TV. Your choice.

Concierge service by phone included.

Sometimes there is beer and water in the unit for your pleasure (not Guaranteed) but if there is please replace with same if you possibly can.

If we allow you to bring a pet. There may be and extra fee for the pet, like another guest @ $10 per pet per night. And up to $200 pet fee per pet. Subject to pet size and at the decision of the host. A pet is like an extra person, and should be counted as an extra person, including and extra person fee. The average pet does more wear and tear in a place then a person does. Note that on your booking request, and you decide to travel with your pet. You have to do a cleaning prior to your departure to remove pet dander, smells, any hair and any sign of a pet. our next guest may be allergic to pets or pet dander.
If left with any dander there will be a $100 to $300 fee for deep cleaning and or any damages, on top of that if something is damaged by a pet.
Hey we/I love dogs and cats. It's just they can cause damage, wear and tear, and extra cleaning. If there is no damage, then there will be anything extra, if the place is left in same condition, is as when you arrived.

Please take care or our home, as if it was you moms, dads, grandfathers or grandmothers house...
