A tan sólo 2. 5 millas del centro de la ciudad de Nevada encontrará Cottage de Baby Bear, con su propio jacuzzi privado, con una vista de la cascada y el estanque, en 5 acres de bosque, junto al Papa Oso Timber Lodge (Ref # 46584). Esta acogedora casa de campo de registro se puede alquilar solo o de espacio adicional en el alquiler de Papa Bear Lodge. Es un lugar ideal para relajarse o explorar la ciudad de Nevada o el río del sur de Yuba, ambos a sólo minutos de distancia en coche.

En el corazón del centro de la ciudad de Nevada (2. 5 millas) y Grass Valley (5 millas) encontrará buena comida, excelente teatro en vivo y maravillosas galerías y tiendas. Viajar en coche a esquiar, río o lago kayak y natación. Hay muchos senderos en bicicleta por las colinas de los alrededores y un montón de lugares de cata de vinos. Los músicos locales y de fuera de la ciudad se puede escuchar casi cualquier noche de la semana.

Lago Vera es un pequeño lago rodeado de campos de verano y se utiliza exclusivamente por ellos. (Nuestros clientes no tienen acceso.) Nuestras cabañas están ubicadas en 5 acres junto a Camp Augusta. En los meses de verano (finales de mayo a mediados de agosto) se puede escuchar 'suena campamento feliz "como los niños disfrutan de la natación, tirolesa y cantando alrededor de la fogata, luego a la cama a las 9:30, hora tranquila.

The little log cabin was perfect for me and my teen daughter. It felt private, the surroundings were beautiful. It was in a perfect location to explore the Yuba and Nevada City. The kitchen was basic but it had everything we needed.

Picturesque getaway

Baby bear’s cabin was exactly what my partner and I needed- 4 days of peaceful quiet and relaxation in the woods. The house was clean, quiet and romantic. Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway.

Cozy semi-secluded property

The cabin was spotless and absolutely wonderful—located in a charming neighborhood just minutes from downtown Nevada City. It was also a perfect base for visiting our favorite Yuba River swimming spots like Bridgeport and Oregon Creek, both about 30 minutes away. The hosts were incredibly trusting and provided clear, helpful instructions we could refer to during our stay. The hot tub was clean, and when paired with the enchanting grotto, created a magical nighttime atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

Perfect couples getaway

We booked last minute and heard back quickly with clear instructions. Only thing that would have made it clearer is describing which door to use for baby bear or a sign on the door, but it was pretty easy to figure out. Others have said the place is updated, so even better than the pictures. It’s super and a perfect getaway for two.

Charming cabin

Stayed in Baby Bear (there’s also a papa bear and mama bear cabin on property. Very sweet cabin for 2 people . Owners were lovely and responsive. Cabin is cute and, although basic, is perfect for two people. Nice hot tub. Great location.

Beautiful setting, unfortunately cabin floors and carpet dirty

When I arrive at a VRBO it is and was a beautiful setting. But one thing I really want clean are my floors. I noticed in the cabin of baby bear dog prints and what looked like unclean floors so I decided to get down on hands and knees and do a little cleaning to see just how dirty it was. I ended up cleaning the kitchen tile floor and the wood floor where we spent most of our time as carpet was in the bedroom. They were quite dirty. It’s like they had forgotten to clean it for sometime. The throw carpets were pretty dirty, so I put towels down all around so we could walk on the clean towels. we felt the bedding was a bit on the old side and needed some refreshing stains on the bedspread, etc. But other than that we slept like babies, the scenery is gorgeous with a waterfall in the back and a private Jacuzzi. It was close to hiking, which we loved! We would like to return if we felt the cleaning was better as the setting truly was beautiful and very private.

Wonderful Spot

Super cozy cabin and lovely location. I had a great time and wish I could have spent more time there. The wifi worked fine, and it was not a serious issue for me but it’s important to know that AT&T (at least for me) does not have cell reception there.

Baby Bear’s Cabin

My partner and stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay! We LOVED the waterfall and tiered ponds! The hot tub was great to relax in at night. The property is located close to the historic town Nevada City. We were able to explore different things near us. We plan to rent the cabin again in the future, maybe even rent all 3 for our family as a group.

Absolutely perfect!

This cabin is the cutest and most perfect getaway ever. It’s so clean, cozy, and completely stocked with anything and everything you could ever need and the bed is huge and soft. Everything is extremely thoughtful and done with the customer experience in mind. There’s a tv with dish and even different games and books and activities. The hot tub is nice and private and the private pond is so beautiful and serene. It was fairly easy to find, the check in was perfect because we didn’t even have to do anything, it was just ready for us without anyone. It was also private and quiet. Everything was so perfect and comfortable and cozy that I didn’t want to leave! It had the ultimate cozy cabin vibe. We will be back for sure.

Exceeds all expectations

The Baby Bear cabin exceeded all our expectations. It was clean, comfortable, and safe. The property was beautiful and relaxing, and the back patio waterfall amd pond was a really peaceful space. We expect to rerurn and utlize more of the cabins in the future.

Stayed at baby bear. Larger cabin on property was empty so we had a private, quiet stay. Great proximity to Nevada City’s many fine offerings and outdoor recreation. Loved the hot tub, fireplace, and water feature.

Rene had always wanted a log home, ever since she was a child. When we found this property in 2000, we knew it was where we wanted to live and continue raising our son. We have three cabins on the property, all of which are now vacation rentals: Papa Bear's Lodge, Mama Bear's Cabin and Baby Bear's Cottage. We lived in the main lodge for a number of years until our son was grown and on his own. Now we live in town next to Rene's pottery studio. You will see some of her pots in the cabins. We love our guests who are all fantastic and take wonderful care when renting our cabins.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Even though we are only 3 miles from the center of town, you feel like you are out in the woods. In the summer time, the children's camp next door emits sounds of laughter and activity. Some of our renters have even taken a ride on the zip line which is high up in the tree tops. In the fall winter and spring is the quiet time. The cabins are decorated with art of all kinds, and cozy comfortable furniture. The setting in the open woods is very special, and we have loved watching the generations of dear, squirrel and turkey families wander through. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we have!
