One among a triplet of semi-detached weatherboard cottages in the centre of town. With one bathroom and one gorgeous bedroom suite, this property is ideal for a small, intimate getaway for two. Alternatively, all three cottages can be booked collectively for bigger groups.

Cosy yet luxurious, the cottage provides just about every amenity lodgers could need or want for their little holiday. A surprisingly spacious, open-plan living and dining area offers a well-equipped kitchenette, round table with bentwood chairs, plush couches, a TV. Illuminated by natural light, this snug space features polished hardwood floors and white walls adorned with characterful artworks.

The other half of Ruby Mint is where you will find the bedroom suite, spa bath and large shower. The elegant, canopied queen bed is just steps away from the spa, epitomising comfort. Yet more artworks hang in this room, and several windows offer natural light aplenty. A cosy gas log fireplace keeps you toasty warm throughout your stay, creating the perfect setting to relax and unwind after a day exploring the region. There is also Split system heating and cooling throughout the house to ensure comfort in any weather.

Nestled in amongst its own vibrant garden, Ruby Mint manages to have a private feel while remaining within walking distance of many of the town’s attractions. Wellness centres, pubs, restaurants, curio shops and more await exploration. A little further out, Lake Daylesford, the Convent Gallery and the Wombat Hill Botanical Garden beckon with all the serenity and beauty of country Victoria.

The location of the property and its proximity to Vincent Street was wonderful and a real bonus. I loved the cosy feel and comfort of the property. Lovely little place, so close to the centre of town and able to leave the car behind to walk everywhere, including main strip, coles, convent gallery, wombat hill and St Peter’s. Nice of the hosts to have the heating already on for our arrival - mid winter. Made good use of the spa and the tv to watch some dvds. Only complaint would be it’s very dark walking the gravel driveway at night and could use some lighting. Otherwise really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Cute, comfy and convenient!

I have stayed In this cottage several times now and highly recommended it. It is a lovely cosy set up, nicely decorated and has all you need for a short stay. It is tucked away in a nice quiet spot but is actually really central, just a couple of mins walk from the main street. A great little find.
