BD 430-60- Chase N Waves is a charming townhouse perfectly located in Barrier Dunes! Barrier Dunes is a gulf front, gated community that is loaded with extra amenities including two community pools, tennis courts, fishing ponds, children’s playground and doggie stations throughout. It’s a fantastic community to visit year around and is located adjacent to the St. Joseph Peninsula State Park.

This 2-bedroom, 2 bath unit was updated in 2020 with new furniture, paint and flooring with a roofed screened porch off the living room to extend your living area. Perfect for every meal of the day or to just sit and enjoy the beach breeze. This Barrier Dunes unit is the perfect place to spend your beach vacation. Located between one of the two community pools and directly adjacent to the tennis courts, with a 225 step walk to the pet friendly white sand beach. If you'd like you can bring your pet with you as this property is pet friendly. This unit has it all including a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, screened in porch with lights a grill and much more!

Floor Plan: Ground Floor-under house parking for 3 and outdoor enclosed hot / cold shower. 1st Level-Living room with sleeper sofa, TV, Blu Ray player and a screened porch with a view of the tennis courts and swimming pool; Dining area, Eat-in Kitchen, full bath and Bedroom 1-queen bed; 2nd Floor-top floor master suite with king bed and futon, TV, full bath with double vanities, a tub and separate shower and laundry closet, sundeck overlooking the pool and tennis courts.

Great Weekend Getaway!

Such a great location and an easy walk to the beach! We loved that we were able to bring our pup with us! Everyone had a great time!

Great location and peaceful vacation

It’s been 10 years since we’ve been back to Cape San Blas and we decided to stay again in Barrier Dunes because it has everything we wanted. Close proximity to beach, pool accessibility, quiet easy going community. This unit fit our price and housing needs although we didn’t bring our dog, it is pet friendly but you wouldn’t have known it. Clean and update unit. If you’re looking for an affordable and quiet get away, consider this unit or community.

2023 Anniversary Beach Trip

The place was very nice, well decorated and equipped, close to the beach and close to the tennis courts where we parked our boat and trailer. We really enjoyed the nice showers, the screened in porch, the nice gas grill and the fast internet. We also appreciated the multiple homages to Chase, we're sorry your puppy is no longer with us but, ours enjoyed sharing his place. The upstairs HVAC went out the day before we were to check out but, they had someone there within hours to take care of it. Would definitely recommend and will most likely be back. We had a great week!

The "dog friendly" property was very comfortable with a beautiful beach however I did not see anywhere on the expedia registration that asks if there is a dog or describes you will be charged a large fee for an undeclared dog. You have to catch this on the actual contract you are emailed later and then, I assume, call in and negotiate the dog after you reserved the room.

So relaxing and enjoyable!

We have been to Barrier Dunes many times, but this was our first time staying in this condo, and it didn't disappoint! The unit was comfortable, inviting, relaxing, and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We greatly appreciated that this unit is dog-friendly as we were able to bring our 13-year-old Chocolate Lab, who also loves the beach. The only area of improvement that I would recommend is that the cleaning crew do a better job of mopping the floors. There were still coffee spills and sticky places on the floor when we arrived. (This isn't a negative reflection on the unit or on the owners. It is just an area for the cleaning crew to improve upon.) We will definitely be back!

Great location within the property.

Very clean space. Was perfect for the 5 of us. The top floor master suite was great and private!

Great beach that allows dogs.

Nice property that allows dogs. Watch out for achilles on stairs. People have dinged the place for needed maintenance but it was all just fine other than B the curling stair covers but it wouldn’t stop us from returning.

Excellent location

Really liked the close proximity to the beach! Barrier Dunes is a great condo community! Nice deck that was covered and screened in, although a little too hot to enjoy other than early morning.

Shhhhh! Don't tell anyone!

What a joy this property was! Newly renovated, comfortable beds, and a sweet backstory about their dog Chase. We soooo enjoyed being able to bring our big and gentle lab-mix. It made our vacation so much more like family time! Thank you again for a lovely stay! We would love to come back!
