Guiding Light Cottage est un chalet de plage de 4 chambres joliment rénové et un choix populaire pour des vacances en famille à Tybee Island. Il offre une piscine d'eau salée qui mesure 12ft x 23ft et offre des profondeurs de 3ft 5in à 5ft 2in. De plus, les clients peuvent choisir d'ajouter la chaleur de la piscine en option pour les vacances de mars à décembre. Les équipements extérieurs incluent une cour arrière entièrement clôturée, une terrasse avec coin salon, un lit extérieur, un foyer, un barbecue à gaz, un barbecue au charbon et une douche extérieure avec eau chaude et eau froide.

Situé à quelques pas de la plage et de Memorial Park, qui comprend une aire de jeux, un tennis, un terrain de basket, un terrain de volley, une bibliothèque, une salle de sport et le YMCA. Le niveau du sol de la maison dispose d'un salon, cuisine et salle à manger, salle de bain et la suite des maîtres. Le deuxième niveau dispose de 3 chambres, salle familiale, et une salle de bain complète.

La cuisine comporte tous les appareils en acier inoxydable et une table pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 9. Espace repas supplémentaire est situé sur le porche filtré directement de la cuisine. Accès depuis le porche est une buanderie avec une laveuse et une sécheuse. La suite principale est meublée avec un lit King size, TV à écran plat 32 pouces avec lecteur Bluray, lecteur CD / radio Bose, et une salle de bain complète avec une grande douche à l'italienne (pas de baignoire).

La chambre familiale au deuxième étage dispose d'une télévision à écran plat de 50 pouces et un canapé-lit pleine grandeur. (La cheminée est décorative seulement). Hors de la salle familiale est une chambre d'hôtes King, et la chambre d'hôtes Queen et une chambre d'hôtes meublée avec un lit double et un lit de jour. Il y a une salle de bain complète située à cet étage avec une belle baignoire sur pattes / douche.

Cette maison contient de nombreux extras, y compris WIFI, dock iPod Bose, livres, et plus encore! Stationnement hors rue pour 3 véhicules de taille normale. Guiding Light Cottage accepte les animaux domestiques pour 1 seul chien.

Option de piscine chauffée: Les clients peuvent choisir l'option d'ajouter de la chaleur de la piscine à leur réservation pour un supplément de 25 $. 00 par jour pour la durée de la réservation. Non disponible en janvier et février.

The property is pet friendly and the outdoor space was the attraction with the screened-in porch, heated pool and firepit . The indoor areas are a bit worn..but it served our needs just fine. We had a super relaxing vacation and our English bulldog ,T-Bone, had a blast as well. Thank you for a nice vacation spot..I will keep it on my list for future visits.

Just returned from a weeks stay on Tybee Island at the Guiding Light house. Had a lovely time. House was clean and very charming. Pool area was adorable and private. Really nice place to stay and short walk to beach.

Wonderful stay in Tybee

Such a charming and comfortable house. It was perfect for our family of 10. Plenty of nooks for privacy and gathering space outside for all of us. We spent a lot of time outside by the pool at the fire pit and cabana. Short walk to the beach and convenient for trips to downtown Savannah. Would definitely stay again!

This property has been beautifully decorated but it hasn’t been cleaned well or maintained well for a very long time. We had plenty or room and the neighborhood/location is great. The ice maker does not work. The skillet in the drawer still had food in it. The master bedspread was filthy. The pool water was green and cloudy and had to be cleaned and treated before we could let our grandchildren swim. We bought a broom and soft scrub to clean the porch and had to fix the vacuum prior to vacuuming as well. The management company did get the pool service company out on a Sunday and they offered to send out someone to clean which we did turn down. We left the property much cleaner than when we arrived!

Cute home but smelled like wet paint going up the stairs which ended up giving me a migraine the two days we were there. The Pool was suppose to be heated but when we arrived it was cool and the next day was the same day. The outside bed had the wrong sheets so had to use a flat sheet. Cute home but wouldn’t stay there again.

Great house for us and our dog

Great house. Super comfortable. Back yard is great and fenced so we could enjoy it along with screened in patio and not worry about our dog off leash roaming out back. Beach is super close too.

Misleading, check the square footage and has no working interior door latches

First there were 7 adults and 2 kids, and 3 small dogs. With that said, ALL of the interior doors had no working handle. One of the master bedrooms had a glass door…? I thought I was going to have to bust the door down to the kids room at one point because the door was stuck in the door frame…My bad for not reading the square footage of the place, because it is a lot smaller than the pictures portrayed it to be. The kitchen was super small. The shower in the down stairs master bath would not drain and dear lord please replace the mattress in the down stair master bedroom! That bed was not only hard as a rock but also had a HUGE lump going down the center of the bed.

We are sorry to hear that the home did not accommodate your family as anticipated. Originally built in 1940, this home is 1,600 square feet and like many other older homes, it's on the smaller side. One of the unique features of the home is the antique doors with original hardware. We hope that we have another opportunity to welcome you back to Tybee Island.

Made wonderful memories and a plus with the pool heater. Who knew we would have a cold spell in June 😱. Also enjoyed making s’mores with the fire pit Hope to rent again. Very updated with the old Tybee feel I had experienced as a child. Thanks

We enjoyed our time here but we do feel like we paid to much for all the issues we had. their was trash left here when we checked in and it smelled horrible. Kept getting stuck in the bedroom upstairs and the doorknob kept falling off. The floor was filthy along with 90% of the dishes. The tub upstairs drained very, very slowly. The faucet came completely off in the kitchen and water was going everywhere. We got it fixed for now but may want someone to fix that. The refrigerator makes a god awful noise. Not sure if its tearing up or what's going on but its loud all the time. I'm not one to complain and not trying to Just wanted to make you aware of these issues. Overall we loved the house. Very cute with a home like feeling to it but it needs a lot of work done. Thank you for having us. The Thomas family

My small group of family and friends really enjoyed this very comfortable house. We had plenty of room and spent most of pur days in the pool which was an added plus being that the temperature was a hot 97° - 103°. It was memorial day wknd and the beaches were crowded so we grabbed some frozen drinks from 'Wet Willie's' and came on bck to relax, grill, eat and relax in the pool. I felt totally comfortable in this neighborhood. I enjoyed taking my scooter out on the bike trail. People on bikes and joggers waving and friendly made me feel happy. In close proximity to bars, grills, restaurants and a grocery store is near. The mosquitos had a good time on this Atlanta Ga Peach so bring some off. I would definitely come back again to this rental.

Everything about our experience was amazing. The house was beautiful, cozy, and clean. We had 4 children and 3 adults and fit very comfortably. The rental company was so easy to work with, sending emails and text messages to make the check in and check out process very smooth. They were also kind enough to leave sample sizes of toiletries and things to make the stay very comfortable until we could go to the store to stock up on necessary items. The only thing I would change is that we paid for pool heat and it was definitely too cold to enjoy! The pool heat worked fine, but we were lucky enough to come on the edge of the coldest weather Georgia has had in a very long time! Overall, I would highly recommend the house and Tybee Island Vacation rentals.

Wow! We had such a great family vacation. Three generations of adults and our dog stayed at this house, and we all loved it. The house is beautiful, clean, very dog friendly, comfortable, convenient, and with plenty of amenities. The rental company was very easy to work with, and they made checking in and out a breeze. We loved spending time on Tybee Island to celebrate our anniversary. TVR staff was very easy to work with. The house is on a quiet street & very comfortable with plenty of amenities and close to the beach. We are sad to be leaving but look forward to returning.

We enjoyed our visit to Tybee Island and staying in the Guiding Light Cottage. The Cottage had many amenities we did not expect, including all the pots and pans, bowls, dishes, and some pool toys we could use. The Cottage was very roomy and comfortable for the 9 of us. We particularly liked the fenced in backyard for the kids and pet. We felt very secure in this location.
